  1. So... your typical Friday night then?
  2. funny you mention this. I've been watching White and noting plays for about 4 hours or so today... I went through Auburn, Miami and Bama with a fine tooth comb. And I'm really cooling on White as a pick.
  3. Schob get cut? Then there ya go.
  4. That's a ton of weapons and only one ball. I hope Kitchens doesn't forget the running game. And I pray now the Oline gets some depth in the draft and Corbett fills in nicely. Nothing would kill this team more than to have playmakers in a way we haven't had in my lifetime only to see the Oline hold the team back.
  5. If you're asking 'why Peppers'.... ? Well, they need to replace Collins. Dorsey is comfortable with it because, like I said a couple years ago - the tweener collegiate pool is deep with players that man the nickel safety spot. That being said, I was just starting to like Jabrill and in a weird way I'm sad to see him go.
  6. In before my edit. Slow down, hot hands lol.
  7. For the 2nd and 3rd? Jesus Christ. edit: Read it wrong. I'm Retarded.
  8. Very good. Since I have the browns I know people will be paying attention to what I do lot of pressure here.
  9. Wasn't referencing you specifically, you just had the post content I wanted to quote. Apologies for the confusion.
  10. ... Hence the reason(s) why I said Duke isn't as expendable as many have speculated.
  11. I missed this little part. Let's not ask how - I'm fairly confident I won't be able to run this group so..... going to withdraw from the Browns/Vikes list. I'll look at something else. Apologies.
  12. The honorable representative of the Browns and Vikings present and accounted for. If any of you hoes have trade offers, PM me ( I will be willing to hand out my call to a select few and you can text if I don't respond on here) Make sure trade offers involve realistic swaps that also include cases of beer and food - I'm quite partial to cheesy Texas toast.
  13. It looks like it was punctuated then edited by a 5th grader. Good enough for my thoughts?
  14. Hunt is still facing a possible lengthy suspension. He will need some time to pick up the offense. This includes groupings, calls, routes, checks, protections, etc etc. Good news is he gets the off-season work with the team .... I think? If this team is looking to make a playoff run then remember - it's a long season and having more weapons can't hurt. Duke still has the advantage over Hunt of knowing the offense and being a utility player between the RB and WR room. For a team that could put even more emphasis on the run and then seeing how involved White and Michel are involved in New England, I don't see why trading Duke is a foregone conclusion. You have 2 top 15 talents on your roster and both of them are on their rookie contract. Money is no reason to show DJ the door, especially right now.
  15. Well... At least we have the most talented backfield in the NFL. The media though 😱
  16. Don't tell that to a lot of people in Ohio, Wisc and WV that voted for Trump...
  17. Not exactly the 'blue collared' jobs that many Wisconsinites were hoping for.... is kind of the point.
  18. Nevermind us making that move - you think the Ravens would let one of the best LB's in football join a division rival? Nah.
  19. Murray is being hyped by those desperate for ratings and the impending off season drag as a 1st round pick. But the film don't lie - unless somebody is willing to go full Jimmy Haslam. That said, in the context of your argument I understand.
  20. Baker is about 6'1 in cleats. I'm right about 5'11-ish and saw Baker in person. But Murray is about 5'8... maybe 5'9, tops.
  21. Denzel doesn't bother me so much. That first pick he had of Ben was dropping in cover 2. He's just very aggressive underneath. Another question I have is the deployment of Peppers. I see the role that Wilks used where the 5th man pressure was a DB - a role Pep Pep would fill well. Beyond that? While he is improving back on the hash he still plays hesitant at times. Collins and Kirk and Obgah are my question marks. I wouldn't shed a tear if either were replaced.
  22. Like I said, I'm 50/50 on this hire but trying to hope for the best. Will be interesting to see the presser.
  23. In order. - Doesn't really matter the front, any defense calls for good players and most especially linebackers. - Some of the pattern matching that Wilks seems to run is Horton-esque - Agree on all points edit: Not directly at you specifically Flugs, this is in general. Trying to get a better handle on Wilks and his coverages. Doesn't show much but I've seen some trends. A wide blend of calls ranging from your typical tampa 2, inverted cover 2, quarters with man under etc etc. The other common thing you'll routinely see are the 5 man pressures and some 33 looks. Saw Luke roll around quite a bit in a swap cover 3 shell even. A really interesting blend of pattern matching zones. The biggest take away I have is this - Wilks was spoiled by having Keuchly. Schob is a hell of a guy to have in coverage as well, but he isn't quite Luke. Can he be the 2.0 lite version? I believe so. But the Thomas Davis compliment isn't there on our end. I think having Wilks on board with this coaching staff puts an added priority on LB in the draft. (Devin White, come on down)
