I would puke if that happened , Bro...

    Step away from the guitar!

His fit with Watson would be a whole different level than it was with Baker.

I was even concerned with the Cooper acquisition fit, until the Watson trade was announced.

OBJ, Peeps, Cooper.... odds and ends... works for me as a WR room... except cap-wise.

That Bears '85 team was the best "one season" team I've ever seen, they rolled everybody except Miami.

Theres a great ESPN "30 for 30" about it & Buddy Ryan that's truly worth watching.

Greatest team ever! '85 Bears... that 30 for 30 is great.

My #12? Joe Willie... The man defined "cool".

Watson wasn't the only one who wanted out Z. When you have a future HOFer with impeccable character like JJ Watt head for the exit, sort of tells you the Texans organization is FUBAR.

    DeAndre Hopkins as well...

One as yet unnamed Texan "brass" responsible for the catastrofuck was Bill O'Brian. IMO most responsible of all. Now just another pruned limb off the BB Coaching tree.

As for the OP... what's done is done. My adding another equally uninformed opinion would add nothing. Let the courts do their thing and hope DW and the Browns do theirs.

Any word on that kid from Nebraska? Center, Cam Jurgens.

Opinions vary... mostly mine vs. talking heads. I see nothing remarkable, Zuerlein sees a quickness that I do not, so ZBS fit?. All of us do seem to agree that anchoring vs a bull rush could be problematic. And I think we have that area covered.

I actually like Taven. Good resign IMO. Flashed a few times last season, which for a part timer is fine... But still need another part timer and that could be Butler. Also sets up competition for whomever develops to stick beyond 2022.

RB that just caught my eye is Central Michigan's Lew Nichols. Not the fastest (by a fair margin), but shifty and pretty strong on a compact frame.

Jones and Farrell from LSU are the one's on my list at the moment for those mid-to-late producers.

What this team needs, especially if you want an infusion of young talent with high midround return value, is just that...  more midround picks.    They need to secure draft capital in some way in order to help address needs on this team that are looking emergency-ish.   Which is why I never ruled out them moving Kareem for pick(s).    The RB ROOM will still thrive without Hunt, but will we survive on the IDL without young picks who can rill their roles early? Not likely.

In that case, WR and IDL get my priority when feuding over 3rd-5th round picks.   Then a nod to C & RT.  Followed up by S and possibly LB.

Holy climbing out of your lane, there, tia... Not a single DB named?

Still I have to agree... My dream DT remains UGA's Jordan Davis... His Combine was stellar. His price is a round 1 tho and not one where we currently sit. So too pricey most likely, but ya never know who playing higher value positions zooms past Defenders as the day approaches. I've had a few prizes fall to me starting with Khalil Mack and running thru Micah Parsons. Unfortunately no GM ever called to get my input... ;) .

Moving up my DT board was TN's Mathew Butler. Undersized, but has 3-tech, rush potential to go with spot duty at DE. Couple others as well, but do not know them well enough as yet to discuss.

IOL.... eyeballing a Center... a strong one with decent feet... and an OG (BC's Zion Johnson)... Meanwhile we've signed Ethan Pocic (But on Tuesday, the Browns signed former Seattle Seahawks center Ethan Pocic.)

RT... kinda surprise Conklin is still here TBH. RT in front of an RPO QB with feet and speed is not the priority it is with a pocket passer. Add that Hubbard has surprised to the upside. Of course Hubbard's value may be even greater in a swing role.

LB... lotta 2nd tier kids outta lesser known schools including one named Muma out of Wyoming. Tested nicely at Combine, but can't recall seeing him play.

RB/WR... seem to be a number of Day 2 Candidates.

this issue brought out a lot of “we can’t extend the game for player safety”.

Risk / Benefit is always a consideration. Extending the season produced a clear and sizeable bennie for the league, which ulitimately will trickle down to the players in future CBAs . Can't see that being the case for more OT snaps.

ok. I think Baker is better as well...but I don't think by that much. 13-20 mill a year more? Brisset is a little under 5 mill

Cap is a factor to be sure, but all you really want out of a backup is 1 or 2 wins as a fill-in.

Add that Brissett's size and tools are much closer to Deshon's, playbook won't change much when he steps in. Pretty much was the case with Baker and Case.

Neither is my dream RPO QB, but both are a step in that direction, The direction the league is going.

With that said, it's also 22 different women and that... is hard for me to ignore.

22 is hard to ignore, but the courts have now given us permission to do so. 22 suits filed, zero will proceed to criminal trial. That still means something...
