  1. I really like those, but I already have my gas grill, smoker, propane turkey fryer & electric turkey fryer (for the larger birds). I have no more room! Mike
  2. HA! It's called "lip service". We'll see IF & "how hard" he works. Obviously, I'm no believer or fan of his. Mike
  3. Yep, times have changed. An old favorite of mine, Browns' safety Don Fleming, was electrocuted in the early 1960's working his off season construction job. Mike
  4. Cal WAS against drafting Manziel. Wanna buy a Manziel jersey? You'll have to buy it from me, not Cal, so do some research before pointing fingers. Mike
  5. I think Milt Plum may be in there, in fact I'm sure he threw WAY more TDs for the Browns than Phipps! I can't believe Phipps would be top 10. Could Couch sneek in our top 10? Mike
  6. I will definitely be trying these. Anymore, I prefer Miceli's Italian Blend cheese to mozzarella & I always like to sprinkle some parmesan on all things Italian. Thanks for another great recipe & it's simple! Mike
  7. Yeah Bill, you were right. I simply thought that his loyalty to A&M and Texas would take him back there, but he (obviously) has adopted Cleveland & the Browns. I was chosen as "Season Ticket Member of the Week" in Myles' rookie year of 2017 (vs Packers). I was given a Riddell Mini Helmet autographed by Myles. It is still in the case on display in the Man Cave. BTW, at the end of that game (won in OT by packers), Clay III removed his Packers' jersey. He wore his Dad's #57 Browns' jersey on under it. Great memories of Myles Garrett & more to come! Mike
  8. Oh man! LOL The ultimate gunner.....either "fire hot" or "icy cold". Whenever he would come in, my standard yell was, "If he misses his 1st 2 shots, get him the hell OUTTA there!". Mike
  9. Of course, Otto was "pre Super Bowl era", but he won a BUNCH of Championships. Mike
  10. I can celebrate now that it's official. A Cleveland Team FINALLY kept one of our own Draftees long term & he's well worth it! In a couple years, folks may look at the price as a bargain. Great signing of a fine player & person. He's the kind of young man I want my Grandchildren to look up to. The only reason I haven't yet purchased a Myles Garrett jersey is that I am one of those Fans who thought he would return home to Texas. His will be my next jersey. Good job by AB & Staff. Let's give credit to the Haslams as well....after all, they forked up the $$ to get this done. Mike
  11. The thing last year was a freak thing. Myles is as high class as they get in the NFL. I can't wait 'til this is official. Mike
  12. Our 2020 tickets are paid in full. I am no gambler but, if I were, I'd be betting on an increase in 2021. Mike
  13. The Claussen dills were what I used for years, but when Marc's was out one day, I decided to try Nathan's & haven't looked back. BTW, grilled cheese & tomato soup is definitely an American classic. Mike
  14. Sorry Gip... 1) It's Bill Haley & the Comets 2) Elvis did mostly ballads...Chuck Berry is TRULY the King of Rock & Roll!! (my opinion) Mike
  15. In these times, I am convinced the name will change to one that will NOT relate to Native Americans. How about a name that is inanimate? Maybe "The Cleveland North Coasters" (oops..that may offend Cedar Point LOL). Maybe just the "North Coast", nickname "Coasters". Mike
  16. Make mine a (couple) grilled swiss on rye (Jewish Rye preferred) with two Nathan's dill pickle sandwich slices grilled on it. Just had a couple last Saturday. Add some Lay's chips/Lawson's dip or Snyder's of Berlin BBQ chips & I'm good to go. Mike
  17. You're stirring memories! I saw my 1st game in 1953 when I was not quite 7. My favorite players were Bob Feller & Larry Doby. I have VIVID memories of walking to our seats, looking at that PERFECT grass. It was the most beautiful place this young kid had ever seen. I'll never forget that day & I'll aways remember them as my Indians no matter WHAT they name 'em. I just wish Progressive Insurance would get smart & rename the ballpark .."Feller Field" courtesy of Progressive Insurance. IMHO it would be a FAR better name & I think it would actually enhance Progressive's image. Mike
  18. Woody, have you ever gone to training camp & watched him parade around showing off his 6 pack abs? drop passes? misrun patterns? Take your blinders off! Mike
  19. If Njoku aka "Mr 6 Pack" goes, color me happy. Talented? Yes he is. A football player? Not in my opinion. I think he's a gutless narcissist. Mike ps: Before training camp? How about before the 4th of July?
  20. Good points & we have to admit, he DID provide a "spark" of sorts in Brownstown which was needed then. Of course, the red flags smothered that "spark" in short order. Somehow we survived & we're far better off that he's gone.........Lesson learned. Mike
  21. I like white onions cooked IN the coney sauce, but RED onions to top 'em. I'm sure we'll have 'em sometime this weekend too.I love hot dogs! Like pizza, I could eat 'em multiple times a week. Enjoy! Mike
  22. I have a whole series of Mr Food cookbooks. Here's a fave of mine with my changes in brown... Old Time Hot Dog Sauce Spruce up your hot dogs with a savory topping that's really yummy and comes together in no time. Our Old Time Hot Dog Sauce is beefy, flavorful, and all-American. It's just what your hot dogs need to take them from ordinary to extraordinary! What You'll Need 1 pound ground beef 1 onion, chopped 1 (15-1/2-ounce) can tomato sauce 2 tablespoons chili powder 1/2 teaspoon cumin 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (I use ONLY fresh coarsely ground black pepper & I double it to 1/2 teaspoon..I also add 1/2 teaspoon of celery salt) 1/2 cup water What to Do In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté ground beef and onion 6 to 8 minutes or until beef is browned, stirring often. Add remaining ingredients, stirring to combine. Bring mixture to a boil, lower heat, and simmer 7 to 10 minutes, or until heated through and well combined, stirring occasionally.
  23. FOOTBALL'S happy Manziel's done! (I'm happy too & I"M one of the idiots who cheered us drafting him! ) Mike
  24. This will be interesting. Certainly, if healthy & given the freedom to do so, Cam can make things happen. Belichick? He ain't one of (if not THE) greatest for nothing. Mike
