    I just received an update from Bruce's wife, I let her know I would share it with all of you:

    Hey Zombo!  Bruce is in hospice status, and exceeding everyone's expectations!  He has gone through any type of treatment that would do more good than harm, and has come to the last phase of his journey.  He sleeps very peacefully most of the time, and awakens with bright eyes and sometimes verbal communication.  The wit is still there.  I have read about this part of the process, and what he is experiencing is a more spiritual phase as he transitions.  His beautfiul heart and soul are evident when you gaze into his eyes.  Bruce has always had such strong heart and passion for the Cleveland Browns and for the Brown's board.  He told me from the beginning of this journey that he regrets not being able to see the Brown's win a super bowl.  I will pass along yours and the board's best wishes.  I will work to give you updates.  Thank you for reaching out to Bruce.

    Post all League info here. If you need a guy, or if you are a guy and you need a team, post here. 

    Commissioners, keep us up to date with draft dates, and some updates during the season.

    Otto Graham League, the Grandaddy of them all, is ready to go. Tour is in that league, so I will lock his team and set him to auto draft until we hear from him.

    I'm also in the Phil Dawson, and last time I looked the commission has not set up a draft time yet.

    I texted him a couple days ago, but I haven't heard back from him. Having trouble remebering his last name today, was going to look up his wife. I have him in my phone as Brouce Tourma ... that's not it. Larry @hoorta do you have Bruce's last name or any contact info?

    Interesting proposal straight-up trade for Sam Darnold. Everybody's off the hook. I would prefer a straight-up trade for Drew Locke but....

    Also how great would it be if the Houston Texans who facilitated this Behavior with the hotel room and the nondisclosure contracts were docked all of the first round draft picks they stole from us.

    So this is probably the shakiest position on defense.  Three rookies in the group.  Elliott and Togiai have yet to impress.  

     

    Elliott was coming on nicely at the end of last year. Toga was a guy that needed an offseason in an NFL program, and now he has it, definitely has a good motor. Oprah may have been our best draft pick this year ... we are definitely addressing this position through the draft, the jury is out on how that ends up.

    San Fran is in a different situation than us. They drafted a qb#3 overall last year, and they are committed to him.

    We have a Super Bowl quality roster and Colby fucking Briskett at QB because we just royally fucked up a scenario featuring two franchise qbs who may never play for us again, $240M and all of our important draft picks for three years.

    When we first signed Watson, I was happy. I defended him. "Ok, he's  REALLY into massage girls, likes happy endings, and while inappropriate,  his behavior is not criminal. This attorney has a personal vendetta for him and is very good at coaching these women that they have been wronged" 

    The Browns said they vetted the hell out of the situation and that Watson was a good person and they wanted to build around him.

    Watson said he did nothing wrong, and since we were in He Said / She Said territory, and there were no criminal charges ... I was all in on the new QB of the Cleveland Browns.

    The NY Times article flipped things for me. I saw him as a different person: He manipulated the Texans, he lied to the Browns, and he lied to us at his press conference. 

    No one needs 66 different massage women in 17 months. No one needs a luxury hotel room where different massage girls are sent. No one needs a massage girl to sign a NDA unless creepy things are happening.

    We traded our future away and paid $243 M guaranteed to a lying creep.

    Oh ... my Browns.

    The draft picks are gone.

    But we can sue Watson for lying and then Jimmy can sell the team to a fucking hands off owner and let the football people run the team.

    He just keeps fucking up.

    But that's probably not happening. We will probably have Briskett go 9-8 this year and then we will have to start letting some talent go because of Watson's back ended guaranteed contract and never get to the Super Bowl while we root for a team led by this creep.

    I'm starting to feel like Watson wasn't honest with the Browns, wasn't honest with the fans at his press conference and I'd rather have all the picks back, one year of Baker and questions at the qb position after that than what we have now.

    He may not be a criminal, but if he's a liar ... he's not a leader.
