  1. Nop. Let's negotiate. 20 receptions? Still 3 ypc doesn't get you to first downs. You have to give me something.
  2. OK, let's get this right, guys. I don't want the Steelers win, but I need D'ontae Johnson to put some points on my FF team... I don't care if he gets 30 passes for 60 yards, I play in a PPR league. Pretty please.
  3. If I'm not mistaken, out of the playoffs areth Ravens and the Raiders with 7 wins each... So if the Browns win the Ravens, they put themselves 10-3 with 3 wins above those teams, so only the Raiders winning everything and the Browns losing all three remaining games would be the only scenario where we are not in the playoffs, since the Raiders won the head to head and the Ravens would have anyway a worse conference record, though I don't know how would be the tiebreaker if Raiders, Ravens and Browns end up with 10 wins each...
  4. Looking at Pro Football Reference team data on the Patriots, I decided to analyze if Belichick is the GOAT of coaches. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/nwe/index.htm I think that a team that has a top 10 grading on both sides of the ball almost every year for 20 years, is well coached. I think an ex Defensive Coordinator who leads a team who has a Defense in the top 10 for 17 times in 20 years, is a great coach. I think that said coach gets 6 SB, 4 times having a better defense ranking than offensive ranking, is an UNBELIEVABLE coach. And if said coach is also a GM who keeps a team is such level of excellence in an era of Salary Cap... Fuck it. He's the best ever. Maybe Belichick would have won less SBs without Brady, but he's the best ever. Period. And Brady, having a top 10 offense 18 times in 20 years, yeah, I'd say he is the best QB ever too. I hope I don't have to do another Patriots' spreadsheet to state the obvious. EDIT: I know it says 'beter' in the spreadsheet, but every Patriots game I've watched I have wished them to lose and that silly T is silent. English, bah.
  5. OMG. This is gold. I can't believe this.
  6. The Bucs as of today have 1 more win than the Patriots, so careful there... I think the Bucs have a better roster than the Patriots. Plus most of the times Bellichick has been accounted for the performance of the Defense and the Special Teams, while offense lately has been Josh McDaniels playground. If you have watched their games, at least their highlights, their defense is playing great and ST are top tier as always, but that offense is hard to overcome. Their offense wasn't something to brag about and they had their biggest players (Cam Newton, Edelman and Sonny Michel) missing a lot of weeks... Keep this in mind and remember, they have 1 win less than the Bucs. I wish the Browns had transition years like the one the Patriots are having.
  7. About forcing the ball, I had that feeling of forcing the ball LAST year, not this one.
  8. Plus Nick Chubb missed 4 of those games. IIRC, he got injured in the first half of the Cowboys' game (Week 4), and in those first 8 games we played Ravens and Steelers, both times the Offense sucking big time, not only thanks to OBJ... Chubb had season low yards vs the Ravens. It's hard to analyze a QB's performance in a vaccuum because such thing doesn't exist and there are many factors, but I didn't feel like he was forcing the ball to OBJ, which would be the main argument against OBJ. We have a lot of weapons and Stefanski has been using all of them, or at least that's how I feel like.
  9. OK, I'm not elated by having OBJ in our team, he gets paid way more than what he has contributed thanks to injuries, but... OBJ came when Freddie Kitchens came on board just to throw to the garbage can all what Ken Zampese had done with Bakers rollouts and PAP after Clueless Jackson was fired... I would like to know the stats from this year with and without OBJ, but then again as Tour said the team HAD to improve throughout the season, so the comparison is hard to make or oversimplistic.
  10. I wouldn't say they have been underused. They've been extensively done work on blocking on run plays, to later make some big catches on certain plays. What you can't expect is to have the ball going 8/10 times to the TEs... Currently probably it's 3/10 and I think it's OK.
  11. I didn't read through it all, but I think Unsympathetic has said it and I have to be sympathetic (I'm so funny...) with his opinion, and say that what every team does every 3 years shouldn't be considered rebranding, or not as lightly as you seemingly have done. It's a redesigning of the product, but it goes as far as changing the uniforms, fonts, and the style everything is portrayed to the media (banners, etc), but it isn't a full rebranding as the brand already exists and substantially keeps being the same. If I recall correctly, some friends I have doing that kind of stuff in publicity companies would call it ''branding'', but not ''rebranding''.
  12. And that's the only good reason I can come up with for the brits not having the European time. I would prefer having Football Nights at 1am than 2am, though it still sucks.
  13. I've always thought that Lay's chips could sponsor that trophy.
  14. I don't have a lot of work lately (freelance Architect FTW 😑) so I might even watch it live. If I don't tape games if I can't watch them live.
  15. I was going to say this. And I didn't know this. That's interesting.
  16. Wouldn't mind bringing her here to have their her company...
  17. The Jets defense was dirty as hell, I still remember what they did to the Broncos' backup QB in his debut some weeks ago. I won't miss him.
  18. Not only that, but I feel like even if they beat the Cowboys, Ravens have had a bad losing streak, they have lost last 3 games, 4 of the last 5. Meanwhile, we have won 4 of last 5 games. There is momentum in games, but also during seasons, and the Browns should be able to seize it.
  19. Thanks! Actually, I remember that when I was a kid, the first time I was asked what I wanted to be I answered 'A writer.' I was 6 or something like that. Later, the music teacher at primary school said I had a gift for music when I was 7, so there started my intricate relationship with music... Finally I have ended up being an Architect who kind of enjoys his job (I had to have a '''respectful job'') but prefers writing songs, as Tour has said. I have a movie script in mind but I considere it a long term side project. Heh, those are the first 4 songs I have published after 11 years writing music with little to no people knowing it... I want to publish more songs in the future and make a band and... Tour
  20. Yeah, Vegas, I didn't remember that! It didn't work for my script, though. I could have added the accordion for some dramatism too. The water part I remembered but didn't help me for the story. I had a laugh when I read London's question thinkinig about writing something like that and I decided to write it at 2am, so it was not my best
  21. Ghoolie was banned from The Browns Board after the death of Stan, the forum founder, left him with no one to cover him up. Trying to find a new life, he left Memphis and decided that he didn't want to live in the US anymore, so he travelled north to Canada, till he found a quiet peaceful peace called Shamattawa, in Manitoba. There, he would entertain himself as a spectator of skijor, an unique canadian sport that is essentially cross-country skiin while being pulled by one or several dogs. He would make two new friends in Tim and Marty, who were 6 and 8, and would listen to him talk about skijor for hours. The kids were half deaf and didn't really understand what he said as they were inuits who didn't speak English and had no friends who had just arrived to Manitoba. But Ghoolie didn't care, because at last, he had found peace.
