I hope they didn't understood it like that. I was just commenting about McDonald's because it's the only restaurant I know myself and it surprises me how people keep going when in my case we only use it when we are broke. Of course no one is. It just amazes me how in a thread about food, talking about great beer and so on, fast food gets involved. And I was pointing how it is a cultural thing. I'd be more than happy having lunch at any fine American restaurant. Every country has it's own specialities in gastronomy and it's one of the joys of travelling. See, I live in a town of 200,000 people with a metropolitan area of 300,000. Probably it's because it's not a big city, but had we have a conversation about places to go to eat, we would comment restaurants or specific places. Never about food chains.

Of all the threads in this forum, this might be the one which draws the biggest separation between you and I, guys... Not only for the vocabulary (I don't travel too much, thus I am not proficient on food vocabulary) but for the tastes and choices. I've been eating fast food quite a lot when hanging out with friends, but I'd say that most of us wish to earn just enough money to pay a restaurant's bill and never have to step back into any McDonald's.

If I were the 9ers I'd sign him to a 4 year deal. He looked great but his achievements as of today still are 5 wins, his stock will only rise from now on if he keeps playing like that and signing him later will be more expensive.

Not the only one. In the last 3 games nobody guessed more than one game. And only 5 members made a correct pick. Not anymore. I watched the Louisville vs Michigan State one, just to realize that Lamar Jackson is someone I wouldn't like to have on my team.

I was close to him for some time! I believe I was 8th and he was 7th at some point. Well that point was before I f*cked up 5 out of 6 picks last days or something like that!

I don't know if anyone has noticed, but I'm finally getting to the place I belong: last. LOL I don't remember picking that many upsets, but I have changed 2 picks since the games began and maybe having into account starters missing and key injuries I would have figured everything better. Or have there been many surprises? I have no idea really.

If someone had picked Kentucky in the game against North Western, he would be mad at the missed 2 pt attempt when down by 1 in the game finale.

I don't know if there's a fast way to check it, but you are one of the few in the group who has picked them. At this rate it's going to be a race for 1st and a race for 8th in the group. I feel confident I will be last.

I'm glad that I've picked the wrong team 4 times, but the biggest point differential was 10 points... And not 43! Akron 3 - Florida Atlantic 50 Idk who picked Akron, mjp and Woody didn't but @Tour2ma sure did heh

After 6 games, you had 21 possible points and still got 8. That's not really good. Though that's better than me, because you have 40 more PPR and only 7 points less than me. I wish I had those games in lower confidence points with my low PCT, just like you did.

It makes no sense. Once again, everyone in the world calls their championships ''Cups'', whereas americans call them ''Bowls'', so I didn't expect it making any. I checked and the picks have to be made before Sat 16, so I guess that makes me give the National Championship final 1 point.
