  1. This is heartbreaking.

I remember how I, who was a rookie trying to learn about the Browns, would read his posts and think there was a great mind with some wit behind those words.

Then once I decided to start writing I remember fondly how he replied and welcomed me. As a Spaniard, I kind of needed an approval to join a forum with such tradition on a sport and a team I wasn't born around, and his words made me feel I could hang around here and feel between unseen, long lasting friends, in a weird manner.

Now the time to say goodbye comes, and I just hope we will soon cheer and have a drink for a Superbow victory, and for the ones who have left without seeing it, but paved the way of this fandom.

Qué tengas un buen viaje, Bruce.

The league is saying it's in practice so they can't and won't do anything.

Wait what's that personal conduct policy for??

Agreed. They can base their punishments on what they see fit, even if a player is found innocent, but they can't punish someone who commited an aggression in plain daylight in front of the cameras.

Aaron Donald is becoming a bigger douchebag as years go by.

You simply don't swing a helmet, it's not that hard to understand.

Probably going to start doing this more, but as a heads up, we'll be spending some time in the film room today (starting now, actually) going over the Browns vs Eagles.  If anybody wants to join in, you are more than welcomed to.  Just find TBB discord link.

I'll have a hard time joining in today, but I look forward to some more live game analysis. It is good to practise my English and put voices to nicknames too ;)

  4. I don't like it. Whatever Brissett does leading the team, Garoppolo doesn't look like he will do so much better to make it worth eating that contract.

I think either Jacobby does well and we have a shot the playoffs, either it is a lost year.

  5. People will always forgive winners.  But we don't know if we have a team of winners yet. Just like H said, only time will tell.

Good news is that the turmoil will be just an echo till week 10 or 11. We know the suspension, let's play some football.

Ok, it's been settled, punishment has been doled out. So how long are the people going to hold on to this? How many snarky comments about Watson do I have to read on anything Browns related that don't have anything to do with Watson? Because we all know how many perfect people there are out there with nothing to hide.

For sure nobody is perfect, yeah.  But the amount of times he trespassed the line of what is right and what is wrong is enough to say that he should be punished.

One person I thought about when I read your post was Vick.  What is the difference?  He did an awful thing, but spent his time in jail and got suspended, apologized sincerely and never committed such crimes again.

    As of Watson?

    1. He won't spend time in jail (it is not a crime or there is not enough evidence, but that doesn't mean he did any good)

    2. He made a late half ass apology that no one buys.

    3. Time hasn't passed so we can't confirm he has been "reinstated"  and isn't coming back to his "old ways".

I want to talk about football and I'm glad the punishment has finally been settled, but this is a fuckup not only by Watson, but also by the NFL (with the two judges shenanigans), Houston and the Browns, and we will hear from it for some time, and deservedly so.

OH !    I wold have never thought of that.   Good one.

It tells you something about how much I've been reading you americans and your addiction to acronyms that I got it at first glance :D

  8. Hey guys!

Lately my friends and I have been looking to purchase tickets to 1 of the games that is going to be played in Europe.

The ideal game was Seattle-Tampa in Munich (German fans are a sight to see, watching Brady play...)

But 600,000 people asked for tickets, and we have just lost the queue to get any of the UK tickets (300,000 people in the queue)

My question is, is this normal for EU games? do they resell the tickets, is there a trustworthy market, and are there any problems to get tickets later, since we lost "the first chance"? Probably there are hundreds of thousands of bots getting the tickets, but I thought it wasn't that difficult to get tickets.

You guys tell me (maybe EU games are a completely different story UK guys have more experience and can help more, idk).

I was pumped to see my first game live but now I'm a bit down. Thanks in advance!

  9. Nobody cares about off field issues when you produce on the field. Watson hasn't played yet for the Browns AND hasn't played the last season, so it makes sense. The moment we win, people will forget.

Also, 24,000 voters from Twitter. I'm not even there but Twitter has just become toxic. I haven't seen anything good coming from there in a while.

If this forum doesn't make you laugh, then you need to check your pulse - or at the very least, your funny bone.

Thank you Sweet Baby Jeebus for allowing this place to keep on going.

This forum or this thread? Because I read half of it and I'm wondering if it's worth it reading the rest.

So-so, O.... Working on a plan B... Likely a clinical trial. Electro magnetic therapy was ineffective.

Damn it. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope plan B works out!

Anyway, being a Browns' fan I expect you to be used to plan A failing, I guess now you can try opening beer cans with your mind, that's a good cheap superpower I would like to have.

As someone who is in new or remodeled houses all the time, virtually EVERY FUCKING HOUSE around here is some kind of white, black and grey.

I'm so ready for this bleak-ass look to disappear.

Well, the reasoning is that white gives space sensation and monochromatism helps combining with any given color, but yeah, sometimes it is too much.

  13. I've seen way uglier rich person houses.

The only thing that I dislike is that every space is over the top: if I had their ammount of money, I wouldn't go for pure black and white design, I would combine smaller cozy spaces with timber, maybe brick, and warmer colors with huge spaces for parties etc.

I wouldn't like living in a mansion that every space feels always empty if you don't have +50 people in each one.

  14. I love the guy and the player, but if he has suffered so many injuries in the first years of his career... Either he learns to keep his hamstrings and groins available all weeks or I'm thinking is a bit too much money.

I don't know how are we paying all the players in future seasons...

In the first place Cowboys, Vikings, Raiders, or animals  are not a race or an ethnicity, so it's quite easy to know where the line is drawn.

I differ with the Vikings. People from Denmark, Sweden and Norway were Vikings and were considered a different etchnicity towards the rest of Europe.

I get the Redskins change, not the Indians one. But it's baseball, I don't care too much either.

Hello all ....hope everyone is well, I have been gone for nearly a year ....wont go into details but I  my sister passed away and it screwed me up a bit .... but I am doing better now.

According to reports the Browns have interest in  Clowney, Akiem Hicks, Will Fuller and either a return for Juice or Cole Beasley in the slot and another TE..... they were also in the hunt for Robert Woods.

Sorry for your loss, darren. Glad you're fighting and joined the board once again, I hope you get better and get to enjoy some more time with us!
