  1. Zombo said it best. Suspending a Monday meeting after a THURSDAY GAME is quite a lousy job as a 0-4 team's HC. Doing it for the wrong reasons is even worse.Β

In Pat McAffee's show they said he excused himself, then when asked who was the girl he said "she was only a girl etc, let's get to work etc." Once the door was closed behind him, rhe players erupted in a laughter. As a HC youΒ  must lead with discipline. He might have lost his locker room and that's quite a deal.Β

Yeahο»Ώ- Baker didΒ sort of mention about popping something back in place. Nephew dislocated his shoulder and said getting it back in place hurt like hell. Usually that's a ER visit ο»Ώwith some painkillers. I hope it's not something like a torn rotator cuff.Β  Β

Got mine dislocated a few times, and even had surgery. It never hurt getting it back in place, simply because as the first doctor told me "YOU are the one that will put it in place, if you relax all your muscles, I will just move it a bit and it will find its position."Β

The thing with shoulders is that they are awful if they get injured. The body compensates and then your "good shoulder" hurts too. The back muscles connect both of them so I would understand it throwing your mechanics off. Maybe simply Baker needs to put "a lot" into the ball to keep the same passing range he usually has, as he relies in his upper body (his footwork needing some improvement is no news), and at some point he simply is doing something a tad different.

Learning to work around some pain and hurt parts must be very challenging if you are a NFL QB where the windows are further and smaller.Β

  3. Thanks for sharing your ideas. I didn't think it was a fit but I didn't have the time or your knowledge to explain exactly why.Β

The Panthers have become an interesting team this year and I kind of feel good for Darnold: he might not be an All Pro but being under Gase in the Jets' shitstorm wasn't a good situation for him and I think he deserved better.Β

  4. I don't have the time to check the cap situation, etc. But I just wanted to know if he would fit in the Browns or not.Β

I like our secondary much better than last year and defense is playing great, but neither Newsome or Greedy have proven yet to be accountable and producing all season long, in my opinion.Β

I believe JRB is agreeing with your assessment here, not disagreeing.Β

He is, but he is also assuming that those who simply fart out that "Baker is better off without OBJ" did their own research. Which I find to be questionable to say the least.Β

Tia, you've proved your point. Like so many arguments this year, the person who clearly has substantial evidence on their side is trying to be drowned out by someone who "feels" a certain way instead. It sucks, but it's not even worth engaging further. I'm assuming they did their own research, though.

    You're assuming too much.Β

Baker and OBJ haven't been playing together consistently, due to the injuries of the later, hence they don't have chemistry. But yesterday it was all on Baker, who missed everyone in the second half.Β

  7. One thing in favor of the injury theory is that Baker played worse as the match progressed. I can see a shoulder injury being OKish in the game opening and wearing out until it throws the mechanics out of the window in the 4th quarter.Β
