  1. I wonder if he is already in the NFL substance abuse program (idk the official name). Because if he is in it, he is screwed, he doesn't seem like the guy to stay clear of trouble for a long time. I mean this in a respectful way, Pat McAffee said that the way it is structured, once you are in the NFL substance abuse program, you are screwed because the testing is so random and exhaustive that any thing is punished and it is really hard to get clear of it, because you can get tested anytime, anywhere.
  2. I am watching everything about the Draft "in hindsight". I couldn't watch any of it and I didn't follow the process, I only knew what the Browns needed, and to me every pick speaks of BPA and filling needs, so I think they did great. Following what Brett Kollmann says... The Browns got a Top 6 CB, Top 1 LB and a top 6 DT in Newsome, Koramoah and Tagiai respectively. I'd say that it is remarkable not having high picks, and along with Hudson and Schwartz I can see all those 5 players contributing in one way or another (say starting or being a rotational player). Plus it follows an already good FA campaign, so watching the combo of FA moves and draft picks makes all the sense in the world to me in the scope of offseason moves. We can't judge how "right" they have been yet, because drafts are a lottery and each player developes differently in the pros, but the Front Office has done a great job so far, in my opinion. Good times!
  3. I agree with most people here that Mack Wilson had an awful draft weekend if he wants to make the team... But the other one I thought about was Higgins. I hope the plan is adding WR talent in the draft (#91 overall 2nd rounder Schwartz) so in the near future we make a WR room with whoever stays from the LSU duo (Landry, OBJ) as we won't be able to have them both, and some reliable WR2-3 (Higgins). It's ironic liking that much a WR3, but I think he adds a lot to the team in that roster spot. I think he definitely has a place in the 2021 roster but it's always a tricky game trying too keep him and the team happy.
  4. Hey London, I know Spaniards and Brits have some backstory... But next time you want to run a charity event I can send you an address...
  5. Have fun, guys! I have a lot of stuff to do both Thursday and Friday (I even have to travel) so I won't watch any of it (starts 2AM for me), but I'll try to find some time to rrad you, pancake eating mfers
  6. Yeah, Ag, I'm glad that you stuck with this fandom. No one will ever remind you that it was thanks to Johnny Manziel, so no worries, we are past Johnny Football and won't ever hold it to you, because we forget stuff and don't remind our beloved fan friends of their "draft busts", even though yours was a pretty big one, but yeah, no problem...
  7. Should have checked the news, I'm so out...
  8. Am I the only one who sees this as a great name... For a vacuum cleaner company's product?
  9. He performed well in Baltimore as far as I know, and the Chiefs proved to be a decent Oline away from winning the SB again. Maybe 3 picks is too much, but I don't know/remember other major spots they need help at.
  10. I might not even watch the draft, I have a lot of stuff to do those days and I haven't following the process this year, but I hope you have a blast!!! Very well deserved, I can't think of anybody who would represent better this board
  11. I'm waiting for them to sign Mo. If not, I won't like having Clowney over Richardson. Clowney+Mo Hurst makes sense to me as an upgrade from last season.
  12. I prefer having Richarsson than having Clowney, so I'm not a fan of this move. And if the timing makes it harder for Richardson to land a good deal with another team, it feels like the Browns have done him dirty and I don't like that. Maybe he didn't put stellar numbers but he played a lot and made some big plays.
  13. Well, I was guessing that, but I thought it all revolved around Alabama only. I guess I was wrong. By brother is diabethic and has an incredible tendency to injuries, even when taking a lot of care of himself, like pregame and postgame warmups and cool downs when at 22 you would just go from 0 to 100 with no care. So I praise him where he has to be praised, mostly if I'm a fatty myself.
  14. The BMI as a first metric has some value, what has no value is doctors etc using it to call someone "overweight", since almost all of the population are overweight using that metric. My little brother has a perfect body shape and has fallen into that category many times, even not having a huge muscle mass. Telling someone that looks perfectly fit that he's overweight is simply stupid outside of elite sports (where every kg/lb is key).
  15. There is nothing more uplifting for a european with a bit of overweight like travelling to the US. Everyone that I know that have traveled there were surprised. Since I'm not into NFL productive comment mood, I'll only add two more comments. 1. Reading Planet Fitness makes me think of Pizza Planet, in Toy Story. 2. I can relate. For me it's always the ice in the cocktails that gets me wasted on weddings... Never the 20 cocktails. On a serious note. I have allergic rhinitis and I usually have crisis the day after drinking alcohol, so it could be said that alcohol depressing the immune system can have a part in getting a virus.
  16. Baker was a bit of a mess with the media that first year, but Colin only wanted some of the cake, even though the attention whore won't ever acknowledge it.
  17. Oh, man. I almost forgot that. I guess it's my memory trying to prevent more harm... I distinctly remember Baker not buying anything from Hue. You could see it on his facial expression. And I have never seen any rookie QB having that stare at his HC. And it was not only that Baker was cocky, but everyone saw him as a walking dead who was going to get booted sooner than later.
  18. Ironically, this Friday night I watched Bowling for Columbine by Michael Moore once again, and I think it aged pretty well, didn't it? I guess this thread could go into the "How stupid can multimillionaire athletes be? Offseason special."
  19. OMG STFU Hue. He's the worst NFL coach. And he has rightfully earned it. Period.
  20. 17 games is an awful idea. They already take the first games too easy to even have more games to have more injuries. I agree with DBone, I would accept it if they got rid of the preseason games.
  21. My birthday was some weeks ago, but I think my friends know what to gift me... I hope y'all are doing great. Go Browns!
