  1. Myles Garrett is a great player.  An elite player.  A guy that can wreck a game.

Should have taken Mahomes.  The greatest DE just can't impact a franchise like a QB can.

The Browns were set to take Mahomes at 12 if he fell there (the Saints were taking him at 11 if he was there)  If you like a QB enough to take him at 12 what are you even doing?

  2. If you guys are tired of her now, wait till KC wins the Super Bowl...the confetti is flying...Travis gets up on the podium and proposes!

You'll get that clip being played over ....and over......and over and over and over and over again....on sports TV...on good morning america....it will be front page news in papers all over the world.  There will be no end.  You will watch Kelce and Swift and you will like it!

  3. The pendulum will start to swing a little the other way pretty soon.  As defenses have gotten lighter and faster to counter the pass....some teams will figure out there is a cost effective way to compete by deploying a big fullback big O line driven running game the overpowers small light defenses.  You'll see it in college first most likely.  Everyone can't run a spread and win.

The Chiefs have won two Super Bowls in the last four years.

Karma what? This troll could go the rest of his life with the Chiefs never winning another Super Bowl, and he'll still end up with two more Super Bowl titles than any of us will ever get... 😁

WE are the ones apparently suffering from some kind of "We pissed the Universe off" situation.

    This made me laugh.

..Am I trolling....of course I am...but this message isn't really a dig on the Browns in and of itself....the situation has just created a dynamic where KC (and Buffalo) have their franchise QB's signed up for deals that are about to suddenly be bargains....becaue of what Cleveland did.

I don't blame Cleveland for taking a big swing at Watson......I'm interested to see how it goes.

In HINDSIGHT...If Cleveland was just going to end up with pick 12 anyhow, you guys would be at least in striking distance to try and move up for one of the 4 who are going top 10 this year.  Given the very strong trend of taking a rookie QB, on a cheap contract and building a talented roster.....Cleveland is zigging when most are zagging.

I am looking forward to seeing if DeShaun can shake off the rust and be what he was 2 years ago.

  5. To the Haslems, and the Browns organization,  on behalf of all Chiefs fans, I want to thank you for signing DeShaun Watson, to an utterly ridiculous fully guaranteed contract.  This brave, heroic and unprecedented act, intended of course to improve the fortunes of the Cleveland Browns, has undboubtedly instead, served to allow the Kansas City Chiefs, a free and clear path to leauge domination for the next decade.

By completely blowing apart the acceptable framework quarterback contracts had been built around, the Browns have inadvertently made the Patrick Mahomes 10 year contract, the biggest bargain in NFL history.  While Kansas City will be able to build and retain a talented roster into perpetuity, other teams, the Browns included, will be trying to compete while dragging the anchors of massive, fully guaranteed, cap strapping, contracts.

Daniel Jones is asking for 45 million per year.  He threw for 15 TD.  Lamar wants a fully guaranteed deal that exceeds Watsons.  Burrow and Herbert and standing by, waiting to see where their contracts will come in.

    And more is coming.

Kansas City, having secured the services of the best QB in the league VERY long term at an ever more reasonable price, will find the resistance to titles, less and less and less.

Thank you Haslem Family, Browns Front office and also the Browns fans, without whose unwavering support, this wouldn't be happening.

  6. kind of interesting to see them on the cusp of the playoffs with what looks like an up and coming strong rookie QB....one that Cleveland might have drafted if they hadn't traded the 14th overall pick to the Texans for Watson.

Pickett - Cheap rookie deal.  Charismatic.  Leader.

Watson - Expensive fully guaranteed conract.  Creepy.  Rusty as hell, and who knows if he shakes it off.  Cost bigtime draft capital.

You guys don't deserve him. Dumbest fucking fanbase in the NFL.

    Z

The scenario he paints isn't one where he's trying to be draft earlier...because if that was his objective, he would have turned right back around and told the Browns he had intel KC was moving up ahead of Cleveland, so then if Cleveland wanted him, they'd need to be prepared to move up or stay ahead of KC.  He didn't do that.  His intent was to avoid being taken by Cleveland.

  8. I won't do a Browns specific one of these.  I am not familiar enough with your team to do all that.  I do have Amari Cooper and both of my fantasy teams.

  9. I'm not from Cleveland, and I'm not a Browns fan.  I'm glad I don't have to ask myself this question because I am not sure I know the answer.

    But.....Is this all worth it?

It's probably better asked as a three part question because the whole point of aquiring Watson is to pursue a Lombardi so then -----

Is it worth if the Browns don't win a Lombardi?

Is it worth it ONLY if the Browns win a Lombardi?

Is it NOT worth it even if they DO win a Lombardi?

2 faced white dude can't do shit squat against another white man but ohhhhhhhh boy will he fuck a black man every day that ends in y

I've explained this elsewhere here.  Kraft ...if what the allegations were are true (I think so) ...was not doing what Watson was doing.  Kraft was entering into ILEGAL sure...but enterting into a trade of money for a rub and tug....between 2 consenting adults as far as Kraft knew.  He wasn't paying for a massage and then rubbing his junk on the massuese, who wasn't being paid to handle his junk.

If you want to point out the hypocracy of no punishment for Kraft, or other owners for other issues...I'm all ears becasue I'd agree.....and I'd also then point to:

my next point...wich I made earlier....

Goodell doesn't have to be doing any of this.  He....PER THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT THE NFLPA AGREED TO AND VOTED FOR AND SIGNED OFF ON....Goodell can issue ANY punishment he wants at his discretion.  And that was further entrenched with the deflategate case becasue ultimately, that's what the ruling was about....literally the judge said...yep, you all signed off on this, Mr. Goodell can issue discipline in any manner he sees fit.

There is no case the NFLPA could make that would ever stand up in any court.  Goodell can do what he wants...legally.  He's trying to go through this stupid arbitration and appeal process to take the burden of the decision off him alone and spread that out to other credible parties....but whenever he decides to end the show trial..he can and will.

    Consider this home,

I walked into a massage parlor.

They asked for 60 dollars for an hour massage.

I laid face down and received a good back rub.

The misuse then handed a pillow and motion to turn over.

Midway through the front side she began working my junk

Me being a young guy with stamina i squirted my load right in her face.

She was a bit surprised it squirted that far but heyyy

Who had their face in THE LINE OF FIRE?

Please define where sexual assault was within the hypothetical case i just wrote?

What if she pointed it towards my face and I painted my face because of her aim?

Can I then bring a suit against her for sexual misconduct????

It doesn't exist in the case you wrote.  That case you wrote also doesn't apply to this.

  12. As a husband and father of two daughters, chalking this whole thing up to the woke mob is insulting.  Suggesting that Watson should suffer some sort of consequences befitting his transgressions isn’t a question or test of political beliefs.  I don’t doubt some of the women are motivated by money etc.  I am convinced not all of them were/are.  Regardless, I’d hope if you were ever in a position to deal out discipline to someone who had acted as Watson di toward my wife or daughters, that you’d bring the hammer down and not simply play his behavior off as the cancel culturists out for a witch hunt.

My wife recognizes it for what it is. Gold digging and woke mob frenzy.

....Judge Sue came to the conclusion that Watson physically touched many women with his penis, and ejaculated on them.  She considered his actions in some instances to constitute sexual assault.  However you want to slice it....It's interesting that you and your wife apparently wouldn't mind dudes rubbing their dicks in her face and ejaculating without consent etc.  She sounds like a winner.  I'd like to think that both you and she, didn't bother to actually read any of the findings and have just surrendered your ability to think for yourselves over to political rabble rousers.  I certainly hope thats the case at least.

    Ok...other point....

I think it's very important, and being overlooked completely, that the Tom Brady deflategate case, essentially confirmed that the language in the CBA does in fact give Roger Goodell, the power and authority to render ANY AND ALL player discipline at his sole discretion.  It's in the contract.  The players voted for it, and signed off on it.  The court confirmed it.  Goodell does NOT have to prove his punishment is consistent, he doesn't have to prove he did or didn't appropriately punish Kraft or Jones or Ross or whoever.  He can apply discipline at his discretion without having to meet any sort of standard or burden of proof.  There would be ZERO chance Watson would win anything in court when the precedent has already been set on this.  They can dig up stuff on the owners etc all day long and make a mountain of paperwork...and it won't matter because Goodell has the power to do whatever he chooses.

I think he would like to have avoided all this by having a woman judge bring down the hammer, taking the pressure and burden off him to do it...and looking like a hypocrite.  He's now forced to act and he absolutely can. no matter what the NFLPA says they would do in court.  Goodell already had his right to dictatorship affirmed in court.

  14. Couple things to consider.

When you go down the road of saying there is no criminal charges...that's correct.  There are none.  That isn't the problem with this.  Watsons lawyer has already been out talking in public about how massages that end with happy endings aren't illegal.  Fine.  i'll agree with him.  He was putting that out because that is what they have evidence of.  Is that criminal?  A good lawyer could certainly argue that it isn't the same as paying for sex.  It's almost certainly why no criminal charges were brought.  ....Any trial that comes up, that stuff was going to come out and be proven, or just plain accepted as fact.  Massage, that had happy ending.  The issue.....and this is important because it's what makes Watson different from Kraft....the issue is the unconsentual nature of Watson presenting his junk to them in the manner that he is accused of doing.  Kraft went into the rub and tug place....and was entering into consentual transactions for rub and tugs.

The problem of this sort of trial for Watson, is you are already conceding happy endings...there are already NDA's.  It's not a big leap to say Watson proceded with these women without consent.

He should have settled a long time ago (if that was possible) and just flat out said he was into massages that might result in happy endings.  It would look bad.  It would cost some coin.  People would at least understand there are dudes who like this and Watson is one of them.  He's clearly gotten crap legal advice to this point.

I suppose it's still not too late to try and settle the other 4, and then try the best you can to frame this is ONLY about massages that ended in rub and tugs and not anything to do with putting your full on chubb in someones face etc against their will.  Just settle, take your suspension and move on.  He can't win by dragging this out or going to trial.

Does it seem like paid leave only punishes the browns?

    WSS

LOL!!!!!!!!!!  The Browns having to bear the burden of whatever comes of this is WHY YOU DONT MAKE THIS TRADE to begin with.  The Browns deserve every last bit of any consequences.

It's like a woman asks a mechanic friend to help her go car shopping.  She spots a car she really likes and asks the mechanic to take a look.  After checking it out, he says, it needs new ball joints, the transmission is going bad, it leaks oil, the engine light is on, it needs new brakes, it was in a flood.  I know it's a really nice looking 2017 BMW convertable, and looks nice in a selfie, but you really shouldn't buy this car.  They are asking way too much and it's going to be in the shop alot.

She buys the car anyhow and then is upset when it breaks down and she owes more on it than what it's worth.

That's the Browns.  You paid top dollar for a good looking clunker.  Way to go!

So get it over with…the media wants blood…suspend him for a year.

some of you are ridiculous.…and way too self righteous.

No one is being righteous about handies.  No one cares that athletes etc get those.  That's consenting adults.  It isn't pretentious to expect your personal space to respected and so on.  I have no doubt in my mind that if you took your care to a mechanic for repair, and you opened the hood to point out the problem, and then the mechanic, who gets off on dudes like you, bending over the engine of a car, rubs up against you with his full on chubb from behind.  Would anyone be too self righteous to claim that what the mechanic did was a violation of your rights/ your space....and then you find out he's been doing that to ever customer that shows up?  Now if you had called the mechanic up and said, lets do some gay role play...I'll drive my car up to your shop, and when I bend over and my ass is all up in the air, you walk up behind me and grind your bulge into my butt....thats consent between adults.  Do whatever you want.  That isn't what Watson did.

  17. ...continuing my worthless rant....

Clearly the Browns, the Haslems...and so on, are in a bad spot.  The reason why is because, IF this was just some dude going to your run of the mill rub and tug place, it might be offputting, but at least would fall within the range somewhere in society of..."we know this happens, and while we don't condone Watsons choice to visit these establishments...at least at those places you have consenting adults with an understanding of the the transaction happening."

The problem with this whole mess is that Watson hasn't seemed to approach these ladies with the proposition of trading money for rub and tug. He makes the transaction about a massage, then gets aroused by the idea them being shocked/surprised and then blowing up on them or near them, just as he is asking them for a blow job or whatever.  Is that a crime?  I don't know...but is it a violation of some kind?  Yes.  It is.  If Watson was in it for just the rub and tug..there are 100's of places he could get that done, discretely.  He isn't after that.  He's in it for the thrill of the surprise.  You might get away with it here and there.  You might even get away with that 10 or 20 times....but when you are habitually doing this, every week with at least 66 different ladies....you can't expect to keep on getting away with it.  Watson is weak minded AND stupid.

As far as football goes....WOW.  How do you ever come close to "winning" this or redeaming this?

Watson is going to be tied up in court for a long time with trials etc.  The NFL might want to wait unti the trials are over before doing anything becaue they cold be accused of swaying court cases if they act and suspend him while those are ongoing...but they are going to want to bring the hammer on this at some point.

I think it's going to be a year when they bring it.  So you guys get a year of nothing football (I suppose you are used to that though) ...and THEN when dude comes back..IF he comes back...he'll have been out of the leauge for 2 full seasons....can he still play?  That's a long damn time.  ....

If he plays does he suck?  ....for the contract to work...he has to play, VERY VERY WELL at some far off time in the future....a future that is looking more and more like he'll lose court cases and be unpopular, controversial...and so on.

So, to sum up....he'll miss alot more time, be an outcast in his own teams town and accross the leauge....on a team that already has the aura of a curse and bad vibes to overcome as it is.  You traded big draft picks and are paying an enormous guaranteed contract for the idea that he'll overcome ALL OF THAT? and win?  HA!

There is a time not too far off where the Browns are going to try and lawyer out of this contract and cap hit.  You can't make this stuff up.  Its unreal.

  18. I don't care if Watson got happy endings.  If he was a sexual creep predator about it...whatever.  We have laws that try and establish what you can and can't do.  Again...if the laides were wronged, and win in court, good for them. if not...whatever.

If you are the Haslems and the Browns organization...for F**CKS SAKE!....just own it!  Come out say you don't care that Watson is into happy ending massages.  Have Dee Haslem come out and say that it's an understood if somewhat unbecoming norm in society that dudes visit people and places that perform this service.  If you claim to have the utmost confidence in Watson and the choice to trade for him...and sign him to a giant contract...OWN IT!  Nothing wrong with being honest about what we, as a people, do.  There are lots of places that sell this service and lots of dudes who purchase it...including Robert Kraft.  BIG DEAL!!!!  It wouldn't be as big a deal if the Browns and Haslems would just admit that they don't mind or care that Watson likes his wiener rubbed....

I'ts a bad look that you can't have a press conference or let anyone talk to the media, while also saying you did your due dilligence and fully support Watson....

The worst part is by saying you did your due dilligence, and then more charges come out.....you look like you didn't do your due dilligence, and by not talking or allowing any media access...you look like your support is just a veneer.

  19. Why did the Browns draw up a contract that only pays a very low number in bas salary this year so as to avoid Watson having to pay or forfiet only tiny amounts in the event of a suspension?  That doesn't happen when you think the NFL is going to come to the conclusion that Watson is not culpable in some way.
