Feel like this is problem #19 of our offense. If you call a decent a play, QB makes a decision with the Ball, we block and the WRs catch. We get praised for striking first and quickly and putting a run based team in an early hole. i actually get it but execute something weve had back to back to back games against teams that can be lethal with a lead and probably play much better from in front

It’s what Baker is doing when he has 4 or 5 second is alarming and 3,4,5 seconds is more of the rule when he takes a snap. We need to study NE and KC - the ball is out in 2 seconds and those lines the QBs are playing behind nothing special.

I Agree with a lot of this. we need the offense to run through Chubb with Baker playaction which Means more Baker under center. Where are the RPOs too they have historically worked well? FB - I don’t know. I wish we had numbers on our empty set formation. It seems like every time we are in it we have WR running deep and baker bailing right. Scrap it. The line had a poor performance they’ve had a couple good ones as well. Rams and Niners will make you look ordinary. I’d place play calling and Baker as more of the issues than the line. The Defense secondary right now - paper Tigers we need our corners back.

We continue to not utilize OBJ and Landry correctly. They are YAC WRs. Get ball in their hands let them run after catch. -

Lots of Browns fans there tonight. Really nice stadium. We were treated to one of the worst performances that I can remember. I’ve defended the Oline this year. They were bad tonight. I saw a guy on his @$$ a ton of plays. No one seemed to be able to hold a block. I don’t think enough credit was given to the Niner front- We won’t face a better front. The play calls were again atrocious. Baker is not a read progression QB yet. He also missed some throws tonight. He had “happy feet” after the first couple drives. The Niners are relentless blockers. I felt the refs missed a few holding calls but overall we didn’t get off blocks and they had hat on hat sustained blocks at the second level all night. I was wrong in thinking the Ravens had a better running attack. Jimmy G was pretty good. He missed a few throws and we bailed him out on occasion but he’s leading a playoff team right now. We can build on this special team effort otherwise We looked like we didn’t prepare all week and didn’t execute at all on Monday. I think we made some bad mistakes early things snow balled and we didn’t a get a bounce all game. we need to simplify the offense. We need guys healthy- are we we hurt or injured? Burn this tape -

Definitely more tolerable lol good luck starting tomorrow hope you come back for the Super Bowl - part 2 -
Could be a 3rd if Duke Johnson suits up 5 more times. a free agent vet and a tackle within the first couple rounds and a late flyer on an interior lineman- should do it. IMO Hubbard is probably the only guy I don’t see as a long term solution

Bless em. I thought he was a diva with the Fins. I was totally wrong. Guy is 100% pro

I gotta be honest not enough game tape yet of him, but I feel better with him than Njoku. Njoku good for a drop and blown blocking assignment sometimes two each game. Having said that He plays out his rookie deal - we let him walk and probably fixes the mistakes and drops he makes
-
Or they get caught looking ahead to a division opponent. You are telling me a lot on 3 games. Not enough data points in that time. Monday night will be all about matchups. Browns vs. 9ers. Both Dlines have an advantage over the Olines. That kind of matchup tells me we see some punts, maybe some big turnovers probably looking at the Under point total. Browns keys: Browns stopping the Run and Browns giving Baker enough time. Flip it for the Niners. Anyone see it differently? Looks like Browns have OBJ, Landry, Higgins, Callaway back - Richard Sherman better have those young pups ready.

Haha not aggressive at all. We aren’t soft in here anyway. I think Browns fans will chalk it up as a win if your FB is helping on Garrett. We’d rather deal with him on the blocking front than catching the ball out of the backfield. Same with that Great TE. Same with WR. I kinda want to see a guy like Deebo Samuel wham block Garrett. He probably ain’t the right Deebo for that job. The old Browns would get killed by the back catching out of the backfield or the TE down the seam. I think those areas are getting better but we haven’t had elite QUarterback play from any team we’ve faced. So if Jimmy is elite and a Target is chipping Garrett and not getting his head turned around and catching a ball- great for us i actually said I don’t care who we played or who the Niners played. It’s irrelevant Sunday night. If your team totals and rankings are proof of an advantage that one team is better than the other - we are going to be in a for surprise Monday. The Browns might be the biggest wildcard (no pun intended) in the NFL the expectations are high because the roster is talented but we saw just glimpses of it a play here and a play there the first 3 weeks. Last week we saw probably a good half of the kind of football most expected. What’s this week like? If it’s what we think we should do well Monday this has a 24-20 feel to it. The defensive lines making enough big plays to force some punts and the teams staying close to one another.

Does the playaction concern you less when you need to block people upfront and one of the assignments is a backup tackle taking on Garrett? And If you are pulling help to him or any other dbl team worthy guy on our line that’s one less WR/Back you worry about. Their offense will not run as seamless as it has in this game. I worry more about quick hitters and our backup secondary not being confident getting in WRs grills. 3/4 yards on first down with the run and a free 8-10 yards on a pass. Great recipe for an L

Rams have a talented Roster. We aren’t playing the Bucs or Squealers on Monday. Just like they aren’t playing the Titans or Rats its about OUR matchup. Anytime you can’t put a starting quality body on Myles and OBJ - I like our chances. The 9ers have to overcome this but at what cost. i think Browns are spending a heavy dose of time this week on this zone blocking scheme. It starts with running the ball for the Niners. I don’t think we stop them consistently and it opens some of their pass game - I think we can do enough though. We decide to play Mitchell and Carrie 10 yards off of WRs the Niners are gonna have their way. I hope and think that won’t be the plan the 9ers have to overcome a little more than our Browns. And what Browns play caller and distributor (baker) show up - who knows. If it’s the right one - we can hang with anyone and probably beat everyone but a few teams. The 9ers aren’t there yet, but I think we are closer

But He’s got the Big Ten Bosa schooling him at practice

See you there. Baltimore Ravens (Div.) Cincinnati Bengals (Div.) Cincinnati Bengals (Div.) Pittsburgh Steelers (Div.) Pittsburgh Steelers (Div.) I’m hoping Schedule makers don’t make that Dallas game near the Holidays- otherwise I’m there. I hear It’s a tough ticket and speaking of Browns backers big presence in Texas -

Small world my Dad graduated way way back in the day at YSU played Football for them too. There is a really good club here too I’ve just fallen In love with my tv and leather recliner on Sundays lol -
Yes we did. It felt like the game plan was more Freddie 2018 and nothing like the first 3 games. Makes it a little more difficult to game plan for us on Monday.

If any Clevelanders are making the trip be sure to try some CA Mexican food. I have had some of the best Mexican food in CA in places that were dirty as all. Sounds like the 9ers are doing something similar to Jerry World in Dallas with the restaurants across from the stadium. I did lay over in Dallas last year and did the Jerry World tour. Wow- what a stadium. If/when the Browns travel to Dallas that’s my next road trip. They are tearing down a perfectly built baseball stadium across from Jerry World because it’s too hot. That would never happen in CA or Cleveland -
