  1. Agree. The first hit deserved the fine. The second hit no way. You could argue that the third (he wasn’t penalized) when he dropped the 3rd string on his head may have warranted a fine. no problem with his play Just cut it out in close ball games in the second half of games
  2. I see this game going one of two ways: we get humbled and lose by 13-17....like a 30-13 type game. or we snap out of our offensive funk and lose a 30-27 type game. I’m hoping for this. That half point is key if you get 3 1/2 pounce on it
  3. Yeah I brought it up because Romo or the other analyst mentioned it as a reason that the refs would have been reviewing the TD. They didn’t miss that call. A flag should not have been thrown on that I thought maybe they were going to drop a flag way after the fact (wishful thinking) on the blatant push/block in the back Right in front of the pass catcher.
  4. Oline is a lot about your scheme/coach, and your QB. I like our Oline coach and our QB did a great job last year making quick decisions- when that happened was Robinson or Hubbard a problem? And when it happens again this year - they will not be a problem. I still think we target a LT or RT with our 1 or 2 round pick. But the folks wanting a complete overhaul- I think it’s completely unnecessary. The interior has actually played well We need TE- I’ve lost faith in Njoku. If he was a stellar run blocker I could live with his drops but there is no way we pay him after his rookie deal. We could use a Safety too. I’d prefer not to trade away draft capital for a DB/S in Ramsey who we need to throw huge money at- unless you feel Ward is not in the future plans. So you pay Ramsey and let Ward Walk after his rookie deal.
  5. Greedy and Ward are irreplaceable we can deal without the others and probably feel no major setback from the backup. This is the kind of team that Greedy and Ward are made for - fleet footed smallish WRs the Rams have. Carrie no thanks against these guys- he will have five penalties
  6. Browns roundtable with Grossi And Dieken speculated Torn Pec.
  7. We’ve started a premature offseason priority list usually it’s longer but here goes: Hubbard Replacement, Randall replacement (we ain’t paying the man) and NJoku insurance.
  8. Heard it was Likely a torn Pectoral.
  9. SO This means they will pay Ramsey but let Ward Walk eventually? I think it’s terrible idea- it’s more terrifying losing two first round picks though But You can’t have that kind of money wrapped into one position especially with Garrett and Mayfield on the Horizon i don’t expect Shoebert or Randall back. The acquisitions and draft picks this past year indicate they are moving on.
  10. It’s his wrist but can they fix his hands?
  11. I gotta stick up for Ward a little the under thrown ball that the Jets WR toed the sideline- If it’s placed where it should be Ward is there to make the play. And the Crossers both weeks where are the safeties? I think Ward is doing a good job of maintaining his side of the field. He absolutely played better earlier last year but he set a pretty high bar last year too
  12. TE and RT are the weak links. I figured. Probably addressed in the first and second round next year but It’s not all doom and gloom on the Oline though. Some really good and some respectable numbers as well. Chubb has really done nothing wrong to this point other than being a victim to poor play calls which I tend to believe they jack all these scores up once we figure that out
  13. He has played well. He’s filled nicely and made tackles as well one in particular against Tenn. he looks 10x better than Deandre Baker selected well ahead of Greedy and is now getting schooled in New York. i think he and Ward matchup well with the Rams they love their go routes and you have to be able to run with them. We really need to contain Cupp in the slot and be on our screen game with Gurleyman. It is probably a blessing that we saw 8/9 screens with Lev Bell and the Jets
  14. I have no problem with this especially if it’s message sent to Division foes. Ideally it doesn’t take place in the 4th quarter of a close game
  15. 23 points against the Jets without Williams and Mosley? And you go into the game knowing that Gregg Williams is going to play a Safety 25 yards off the ball. It’s week 2 we have some new pieces but it needs work and the Browns are truly bless this year with Backs/WRs that can do special Things after the catch. The offense is backwards now in its approach
  16. And the OBJ TD play worked right? The other screen to Chubb was set up well but one of their DTs made an excellent play. We have a luxury of simplifying the route tree. When you have better athletes on the perimeter (for once) the five yard curl (easy throw) can net you a first down or a bigger play with some of the guys we have. Watch the DBs on OBJ he has had a huge cushion the last two weeks. Simple high percentage throws that don’t have to go between a second and third level of defenders. We can make it easier and still take a few shots down field. But this take shots down field and occasionally check down to the shorter route it’s not high percentage football
  17. As soon as Baker and Offensive Coaching staff understand that OBJ, Landry, Chubb and Hunt in a couple months are YAC maniacs and you don’t need to feed the ball to them 20-30 yards down the field. Things will look better. Right now Baker is attempting 20 tough throws a game probably 10-12 more than most QBs in the NFL food for thought
  18. What’s with the OL didn’t play well again stuff? I think some of you need a reality check. You can’t and shouldn’t expect OLineman in the NFL to block for more than 5 seconds. Did Baker not have enough time? Granted the run game wasnt great but it was effective and produced one of the biggest plays of the game.
  19. Classic trap game. Once the line bounces to -3.5 jump on it. Good Home dog against a team traveling across three time zones for a prime time game. Over looks good too although I thought it wouldn’t be up to 51. I see a lot of defensive penalties and showcase of offense on prime time. I think both offenses match up favorably against the respective Defenses.
  20. I agree here. It’s fixable and it’s between the ears. You fix this by simplifying things. We set up plays so well last year and took a few shots down the field. This year you can flip the script. It appears they’ve given baker leeway to audible as multiple times he changed plays at the LOS. Do we need to tone this down? Looks like Baker is a rhythm passer. Get it going early with quick passes. We have one of the best possession WRs in the game and one of the best YAC WR in the game. Get it out early!!!! You also showcase the run- we don’t do that any longer. It always helps to have that security blanket TE over the Middle but NJoku still drops the ball and is off the field more than he plays. some of you folks are all over the offensive line and last night especially Baker had all day, and even last week he had plenty of time. Defense is light years better too. our kicker doesn’t stink. things don’t appear as bad as they are-subtle changes and the light goes off and this thing really takes off
  21. That’s how you use OBJ...said it all night
  22. Lev Bell best back in the NFL the Jets have nothing no line no qb and he’s doing it. I thought the Steeler system and the guys around him made him better. Squealers were dumb not paying him
  23. Looked like an Amish guy sounded like @$$
  24. Not even using him correctly. Need to get the ball out quickly to these WR and let them YAC all day long
  25. Oline looks good. You can’t block for 5/6/7 seconds every play the timing routes and play calls are @$$.
