DTR looked like a crackhead, both figuratively and literally. Stefanski doesn't know how to call non-Nick Chubb plays

Right at the end he takes a helmet to his throwing shoulder

Elijah Moore, Njoku, other Thoughts

Now Njoku's questionable for Sunday. Was he doing bong hits and burned his face? -
Leroy Hoard on pittsburghs dirty play on Nick
BernieSuperBowl2 replied to syd's topic in THE BROWNS BOARD
Minkah Fitzpatrick is a scumbag. He hit Chubb when he was being held and his head turned like Leroy said. Fuck Ryan Clark too. He can take his sickle cell ass back to the altitude in Denver and do some laps. I know, "too far Bernie" but Clark is a dick and always shits on the Browns so fuck him and I'm still mad about Chubb. -
Elijah Moore, Njoku, other Thoughts

I'm luke-warm on Moore so far. He looks talented, maybe Stefanski isn't using him right. Ditto for Njoku -
I hope Dawand Jones flattens him like a pancake

What we learned is Tampa Bay's first two games were against bottom four overall NFL teams in the Bears and Vikings (both 0-3). The Bears have the 2nd worst defense in the NFL (would be #1 if the Broncos didn't cough up 70pts this week) and the Vikings are the 7th worst defense. Baker is a one dimensional, one read, unathletic, undersized quarterback, who is extremely immature and uncoachable. He can do fine against the worst defenses in the league, but play him against an average, above average, or elite defense and he reverts to the same old Baker. He went for 146-1 TD-1 INT with a passer rating of 73.1 last night. The Eagles took his lunch money and there was nothing he could do about it. Baker plays in the worst division in football in the NFC South, so I'm sure he'll have some other good games this year, but he is who he is.

I hear you on that. I'm just glad it didn't effect the outcome of the game.....because the Browns were so dominant! Don't get to say that often.

I'm not with you on this one Dutch. The refs are trained to let the play go if they don't see something happen because you can then review it later and overturn it. In this case, if the ref didn't definitively see Cooper step out of bounds, then the play continues and it can be reviewed later. By calling Cooper out of bounds and blowing the play dead, it meant we were 100% screwed out of a TD. Terrible on the ref either way and there is no excuse for it.

Yep. There were at least 3-4 defensive pass interference or defensive holding calls on Cooper today - if you count those and the blind referee call, he accounted for well over 200 yards.

This is the best game we've seen from Deshaun with the Browns. He made good reads, dropped dimes, and was able to scramble when needed. He looked poised and not rattled like against the Steelers. Another reason why Watson was better today was Stefanski finally had a good game for play calling. Unlike last week, he called more shorter/intermediate throws. Then when the defense had to account for those, he took his deep shots to Cooper who was unguardable today. He mixed it up well.

I understand sometimes the refs have a bang-bang play, or a fumble/yardage play where there's 11 guys in a pile. But the ref was standing four feet away with an unobstructed view.
