  1. Agree with @bbedward picks to the letter.

With regards to Joe and others playing against the Bungholes, it all depends on today's results for me. If Miami beats Baltiwhore and Stoolers beat Seahawks, the division and #1 seed is on the line in the last round, and Browns would seem to have the easier game.

  2. How in the freaking heck is this even a foul? He lowers is head as he goes into traffic at the LOS, to make forward progress. I don't see any intention to hit a specific player, let alone with "unsportsmanlike" intent. WTF was he supposed to do? Keep his head straight up and politely nod to the defender who does have the intention to all but take it off?

I swear, if this continues, the running game is dead!

Do we lose a tiebreaker to the Bills?  Conference record decides it?  They are 5-5 and we are 8-3

@Flugel just entered scenarios in this nifty tool: https://www.espn.com/nfl/playoffs/machine

Even if Buffalo wins its remaining two and we lose at Cincy, we remain the 5th seed. We play either Jags, Colts or Texans, depending on their results.

If we win the last game, we need the Ratbirds to lose both to become the #1 seed. Unlikely, but far from impossible, because both the Fins (seeding/ hf advantage) and Steelers (making the playoffs at all) have everything to play for.

Based on risk-reward however, I would be inclined to agree with the bubble wrap suggestion made earlier.

Assuming the Ravens beat the Fins on Sunday, which makes the Bengals game fairly meaningless, who do we rest in the finale?

The more difficult question is: what if the Ratbirds loose to the Fins? Do you risk it and play your starters, with the potential reward of the opening round bye? For that reward, Rats needs to loose both.

Suppose part of the answer lies in the result Pit-Sea game. If Stoolers have something to play for in their last game, it could be worth the risk.

This is a big blow, and I for one could use a little optimism, so here it goes.

Kevin is extremely talented at devising gameplans IMO. I anticipate Jets doing everything in their power to take away Njoku, so it's going to be an Elijah Moore game. I've been unimpressed with him this year, that's no secret. A few bad drops, hardly any broken tackles, and not as much wiggle as I thought he had.

Tonight is a new night. Elijah Moore will take it to the house on a screen and will score another touchdown on a trick play of sorts. We're going to get creative and it's going to work. Moore will have over 100 yards and 2 TD's.

Oh, and Njoku will still get his, but the other surprise? The running game. I think our run game comes alive and the screen game pops and that's how we make up for the Cooper injury. And don't forget the Goodwin TD bomb, that's definitely happening. We got this.

This put a dent in my confidence for sure.

Agree that Jets will try to eliminate Njoku. Equally disappointed with Moore so far this season, but not especially hopeful he will turn it around this game.

Tillman has blossomed with Flacco under center, so he will be our #1 option tonight. I hope my boy David Bell gets targets tonight, because he has hands and gets open. Considering the expected focus on Njoku, don't underestimate Akins as an option. In the end, Joe has shown a knack to get everyone involved, which we will damn well need tonight!

  7. Don't want to be a downer after such a big win, but the running game still wasn't there. Hasn't been there for weeks. O-line just barely holding up long enough for Flacco and Coop to make magic happen.

What do we think the chances a quality lineman is cut between now and then, and we pick him up? Or two!
