less stoopid people that challenge our FO decisions within the first month of the football season.

Mik,

I swear that if you ever get to Canton, Ohio, I'm buying!

Brothers from a different mother. LOL

What this FO has done in one off season borders on miraculous & just needs time to gel.

have a grandson-in-law graduating next year so I HAVE TO make it there. i should make more attempts to do so but man it's like when you're my age everything in the bank starts dwindling........

last time we went back we dropped 3k. and that's hanging with family. imagine hooking up with you and the rest of the browns board tailgaters. like throwing gas on the fire. i'd probably end up single and looking for a cab to hopkins with my muni lot stained hoard jersey and a bent cigarette in my mouth.

Laser pointer night.

From USAToday

As the NFL investigates complaints from the Buffalo Bills that quarterback Kyle Orton and holder Colton Schmidt had been subjected to a powerful laser aimed at their eyes by someone in the crowd in Detroit, a leading ophthalmologist and retinal specialist warned of the potentially devastating effects such devices can cause.

While the guidelines for a standard laser that might be used in a classroom is between 2-5 milliwatts, pointers more than 500 times more powerful can be easily purchased online from overseas retailers, for less than $50. Such high-powered instruments were originally designed for industrial use, such as by surveyors or in the construction of multi-storied structures. Some have a range of up to two miles.

"We need to be clear about this," Robert Josephberg told USA TODAY Sports in a telephone interview from his office in Yonkers, NY. "These things are weapons; powerful weapons that can cause very severe damage and blindness. They are much more powerful than anyone thought.

Bills staff reported the incidents to the NFL's security department on Sunday following the team's 17-14 victory over the Lions at Ford Field. Detroit's front office issued a statement revealing that no culprit had been found but promising extra vigilance at future games.

"We are aware of reports from (the) game involving the use of a laser," the Lions statement read. "While Ford Field security was unable to identify anyone using a laser… any future occurrence will be dealt with accordingly."

Pointers are banned across major sports leagues but Josephburg insists that current federal laws, which primarily legislate against them being used against pilots of airplanes or helicopters, do not go far enough.

"There has been a significant increase in medical journals of reports of blindness caused by the lasers," said Josephberg, who has lobbied members of Congress for more than a year to discuss criminalizing intentionally dangerous use of laser pointers, to no avail. "The use seems to be increasing – and so does the power and availability of the pointers.

"If it is shined at someone with intent, such as in a game of football where you are looking to distract someone, then make it a felony. Congress needs to take note."

Use of laser pointers has become a worrying trend in European soccer matches and was highlighted in recent seasons when Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, widely regarded as the best two players in the world, were targeted in separate instances.

In February last year, United States goalkeeper Brad Guzan complained of having a laser pointed at his eyes during the national team's 0-0 draw with Mexico in Mexico City's Azteca Stadium during World Cup qualifying.

Such instances have been rare in American sports, although a 17-year-old St Louis Cardinals fan was arrested in 2012 for aiming a laser at San Francisco Giants pitcher Shane Loux.

The NFL will be keen to ensure Sunday's incident is an isolated case. A Twitter user – posting under the name Marko Beslach – boasted of using the laser to distract Bills players on Sunday. The account was then deleted.

With Gordon coming back, I believe WR is actually not a huge position of need (Gordon, Hawk, Gabriel, Austin, Benj)

1. 3-4 DE

2. OLB

3. ILB

4. SS

5. I'd like to get some O-line and TE depth.

1. CB - Def a TOP need

2. WR - Need another deep threat and can't trust JG for the long term. Call it insurance.

3, O + ILB - Dansby wont last that long and could use a 3 down player on the outside

4. OL - Look to upgrade/add depth at tackle

5. PK - Need to start looking for the next Barr, Cocroft, Dawson

CB needs help. The guy they drafted with the 8th pick was benched. The so-called shut down cb is NOT even close to that, and now he's hurt. And don't even get me started on Skrine.

I hope Gilbert can get his act together, cause the Browns will need him against the stoolers BIG TIME

I would think after the renewed focus on defensive contact that having the best possible pass rush would be the most helpful for any secondary. As it stands this front 4 doesn't generate enough pressure nor consistently. Give me a couple bigs that can collapse the pocket, frustrate the QB while holding their own in gap control.

Beyond that. ILB, OLB, depth at TE, WR and Oline.

You're wrong about that pal, we have the best fans in football....

If you can't see that, you're visually impaired or never partied in the muni lot.

You were in the way...

Not to detract from brother mik's excellently funny posts, but since a football discussion has broken out...

LBs... fast, versatile, athletic, 3-down LBs...

They can generate tia's desired pressure and alternately they can supplement Mud's desired coverage.

Disagree with 1 and 2 being top priorities. Mugshot and Armonty are already our 34 techs and Mugshot is considered among the best in the NFL. I don't really see a need at OLB other than a 4th guy for rotational purpose's. I'm pretty happy right now with Kruger and Sheard. ILB is something that if things don't change, will need to be addressed again in the offseason. I have still yet to see Dansby get infront of a camera and say this running shit is on me. He's the fucking captain of the defense, he's the guy (along with Kirksey) who are most responsible for those gashing runs up the middle the defense has been subjected to. Ray Lewis would have been out of his mind at this point with 4th string shrubs going for 100 yds He would have been hopping up his own ass he'd have been so mad. If this run deficiency continues, like if we get gouged again by Pgh....than it's time for Robertson and Carder FFS. I don't like to say that but maybe sitting Dansby and Kirk for a game gets the message home.

They need the glass sided swimming pools on the second level of the deck with a bunch of hot chicks in them like the Jags stadium has..... you guys see that shit?

Then another deep threat WR that is taller than 5'11"

A badass linebacker

And run stuffing DT or two.

If the Browns could bottle the luck they experienced last week and use just one lucky star per game, at the time of their choosing, they could win 3 or four more games.

I'm ready for that link to your Steeler site now... PM it to me, please...
