THE BROWNS BOARD

Bengals RB Jeremy Hill "Browns not that good......worse than i thought they were"

CINCINNATI -- The Cleveland Browns impressed many who watched their 24-3 dismantling of the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night.

Bengals rookie running back Jeremy Hill, who had a front-row seat for the blowout, was among the unimpressed.

Asked whether the Browns were better than he previously thought, Hill said, "Oh no, not at all. They're probably worse than I thought, to be honest with you."

He didn't stop there.

"They didn't do anything special to me," Hill continued. "I mean, respect to them, they won the game. But that's all I'll give them."

The Browns held the Bengals to less than 200 yards of total offense. Four days after Hill rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns in a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland held him to just 55 yards on 12 carries Thursday.

Just after the Bengals turned the ball over for a third time in the loss, Hill's frustrations boiled over. As he walked over to the sideline following the fourth-quarter interception, he threw his helmet some 10 yards into the sideline in disgust. He walked to the bench helmetless and sat as injured teammate Rey Maualuga grabbed the helmet and put it on the bench behind Hill. Along with Maualuga, fellow running back Rex Burkhead tapped the rookie on the shoulder as a form of encouragement.

Asked about those specific frustrations he showed, Hill let out a sigh before deciding to lay into the Browns once again.

"Those guys, they're not that good," he said. "It was on us [Thursday]. We gave them the game, in my opinion. They didn't do anything special. We just gave them the game. They just sat back with coverage the whole day."

Whatever the Browns did clearly worked. Cincinnati quarterback Andy Dalton had the worst game of his career, and the Bengals scuffled through their second game without a touchdown in a month.

"We'll play them again, and we'll see what happens," Hill said.

The Bengals and Browns play in Cleveland on Dec. 14.

Salty or seeing something we don't?

1. I believe Coach Lewis will have a word with the young man.

2. So we sat back in coverage, yet Hill's line was 12 for 55 w/ 0 TD and 1 FUMBLE!

Nice average rook...

Also nice? Your FUMBLE!

That's for the advance Bulletin Board material...

while we're probably not quite as good as this game would lead one to believe, we're also better than this little dooshbag is obviously giving us credit for. They couldn't run for shit while the whole season our defense has been like an inviting open gash just waiting to be run on. I just pray what we saw tonight lasts, at least in part, for the rest of the season. Even if we lose games I want to see some of the shit we did tonight. That's how you build a team that goes deep into the playoffs.

Haha this made me laugh my ass off! Your right NEPatriots, they are a decimated, obliterated, mutilated, ravaged, savaged, crushed, smashed, demoralized, brutalized, soul-less, nuclear meltdown of a team after this loss, and Hill's comments bear that out.

Fuck the Bungles and the Hill! Go BROWNS!

I WILL wear this mammoth of a smile on my face for the remainder of the week!

If complete domination of the LOS both sides of the ball means the Browns are not very good, then yeah, I agree totally with Hill.

Some players have no clue when their heads are rolling around on the ground from a good old fashioned butt stomping wipeout.

So I was hopefully optimistic about this game (as a homer should be). I expected a close game, win or lose. I expected to give up lots of rush yardage and for Dalton to have about 300+ yards and a couple TDs. I expected our run game to be poor. But I expected us to find some way to stay in the game and have a chance at the end for the win.

What I did not expect was that complete domination. And I loved it!

Hill has had big trouble before the NFL on and off the field.

Now he runs his mouth in a loss, and gives bulletin board material ahead of time.

Not impressed.

He was named Fed Ex's Ground Carrier of the Week last week for his stunning 154 yard performance against the Jags. Now he thinks he's Jim Fucking Brown. What an ass hat.

Well, some of us would have gone off on our QB like this guy did if the Browns QB played like Dalton.

He does it every game though, a couple games ago he said Marvin Lewis couldn't coach his way into a vagina on spring break, thought that was gold.

Throwback to 2012

Wow lol. Before the game:

Greg Little:

"Everything about this game is personal for me and I'm going to treat it that way," said Little, signed by the Bengals Oct. 14 after being released by the Raiders. "And I'm going to put my team in the best position to win."

How'd that work out for you Greg? Do you consider giving your team a 15 yard personal foul penalty putting them in the "best position to win?"

I do have a question for you, though, Greg. Is your locker right next to Jeremy Hill's?

I think Greg and Jeremy define 'butt-hurt' in more ways than one, especially in the shower consoling each other after a crushing loss.

Greg Little's net contribution for the game - 1 catch, -7 yards.
