You have a two party system which has now basically devolved to each party taking opposite stances on every issue. You ask a standard republican voter to name something Obama has got right in his presidency and they'd be hard pressed to name something I'm sure. And vice versa for liberals/Bush. Just as an exercise what reasons do you think there are that certain groups of people vote for certain parties? Especially in the case of African Americans when it is 97%? You claim a 97% figure but you realize that's predicated on self reporting right? Do you already see the problem there or do you need it explained? I'm pretty sure out of all the black people that vote in elections it's more than 3% that vote other than democrat. But i'm also pretty sure that the actual voting rate amongst black people is probably pretty low so you can't draw any conclusive figures in any case. And where did you get the idea that I had the idea you called African americans liars and cheats? You obviously don't understand the point of that statement. It's an offensive stereotype of jews. Just as the notion that black people vote democrat solely cause dey want dey welfare checks. It's a pretty persistent stereotype that white republicans keep pushing and it's disingenuine and offensive that you have to be on welfare to have the temerity to vote democrat. Then there is the rich elitist liberal snobs in Austin, that vote Democrat simply because they don't want to smell exhaust fumes while they jog in the middle of the street smoking a joint. I guess my point is everybody has specific reasons for voting for whomever and it doesn't necessarily make as much sense as it should. It could literally come down to one factor or another.
