THE BROWNS BOARD

Is this the end of the Mack era?

Recommended Posts

Yes...played 10 games.....scored a + in 7 and a - in 3......overall +5.6.....

Looks like the polar opposite of Schwartz, as he has a very high run block score of +9, but a -3 at pass block....

I will say Bowies score is a little skewed, as he played 7 at RT.....1 at LT....1 at RG.....and 1 at LG......

His score for 7 games at RT is +4.4 (very nice)

Thanks... I assume Bowie was eaten up in his one LT start.

Yeah, higher than Mitch at RT which you listed a while back as:

Schwartz +6/ -6/ +0.5 ......Note: Only had 6 penalties over 1100 snaps

So assuming full recovery...

We didn't draft Erving to replace Mack. Mack stays. Erving is not only a C as he shows a rare ability to be versatile and can be developed into a quality RT or OG. If we can keep Thomas-Bitonio-Mack-Erving around for a while, we'll have a dominant line for quite a few years.

Now a Legit QB Please

I will be shocked if Erving beats out Greco for a starting job.

Not so much if Bowie were to beat out Mitch.

Thank you Tour. I kept reading this thread waiting for someone to stop and say, hey, Greco is one of the better guards in the league. The real question is, can Cam play RT. That is where the weakest link in the line is.

Your welcome...

RT is the $64 question.

Erving has better feet. Schwartz has better technique.

But Bowie is the Wild Card.
