The EU will explode, and you guys will be thankful you distanced yourself from the explosion. Other countries will also follow suit.

You will still be able to meet regulations and export to the EU, exports will get a boost while the pound is down too. Smaller businesses will benefit, large businesses will largely be able to operate the same.

You guys should be celebrating, independence day ;)

And they said they're going to accelerate getting Turkey into the EU

On top of it all, in case people haven't heard, the PM is resigning some time in the next couple of months. The brexit side has no real plan apart from to leave, so now they have to figure out what the hell they're going to do now, and elect a new PM, after which there will likely be an emergency general election, where a non-brexit party (most likely Labour, after removing their own current leader) takes advantage of the conservatives tearing themselves apart in this campaign.

Yep, it's a great achievement.

Anyway, the point is moot, lunacy has won the day, and for the first time ever, I am ashamed of my country.

Apparently you havrnt watched the new top gear with that stupid american from friends that nobody on this side of the big pond even knew was still alive. No no my friend, no blacker day in ur history than when your national telly station let jeremy, richard snd james fuck off to some shiite rubbish online wanker farm.

Yep, congrats.

Scotland will probably leave the UK and rejoin the EU, then you can build a big beautiful wall in the north and make them pay for it.

Smaller businesses don't care so much, except the ones in Ireland that actually have a land border. Agricultural business will be fucked without the subsidies from the EU (and don't think for a minute the conservative government will replace them).

The EU may well disintegrate now. The whole of Europe is destabilising as a result - not just the FTSE but the CAC & DAX are down somewhere in the region of 8-10% last time I checked. All the while, the 'Eurasion Economic Union' - Russia and some former soviet states, set up a few years ago - will be around to mop up all the former soviet states and some eastern european countries and essentially become a pseudo soviet union.

This move is just idiotic from every angle except the selfish, short-termist one. I had more faith in the people of my country, but I was wrong.

That they will. Indy2 has already been announced (no dates yet). More instability when it is more crucial than ever that the civilised world displays stability.

I actually don't mind him. Chris Evans on the other hand is terrible.

Anyway, Grand Tour starts later in the year, and I'm all in on that.

Oh and BTW, Northern Ireland voted to remain (55-45). So either we have a big fuck off wall across Ireland - that'll go down well, certainly a politically stable area with no lingering sectarian tension and recent history of terrorism - or the north will declare independence and we're down to just England and Wales. Wales, btw, which receives far more money from the EU than it pays in, and voted to leave.

In fact, London basically props up the UK economy, and provides the money to pay for the EU, and yet still voted to remain.

In case it's not clear, I have reached levels of fury I have never felt before. Even when that PI was called on Leon McFadden.

I'm done for the day. It's around 6pm and I'm running on two hours of sleep and coffee. I need to find a place to chill out before I murder someone. And that's only somewhat hyperbolic.

Nobody really has BB. It's just more left-wing fiction that unfortunately passes as news. (and people like Woody gobble it up like the pornstar at the end of a stag film) Frankly I don't care what color the terrorists are who are beheading and murdering thousands upon thousands of innocent people are.

There's a pretty apparent agenda in some of the news stories posted here from certain sites. I'm sorry if you don't see it. I'm just pointing it out.

Does that mean those stories aren't real? Of course not. But it's very clear what they're trying to do.

And yes, both sides do it

funny how its the far right leaders on that front ....

and that is not an indicator of religious stature in Europe.....because religiousity is almost all but dead

and they arent liking the Islam version either.....

I'm not big on any far right or left leaders

Maybe I don't read them as carefully as you. Especially shit from Walter white Etc which I don't usually read at all or just a perfunctory glance at best. It is horseshit that you and your jerk-offs lying about people of color. We are whining about terrorists. Mostly Muslim terrorists but chechnyans Etc and still it has nothing to do with their skin tone it has to do with their fucked-up ideology. And no both sides don't do it even though both sides do stupid fucked-up things.

The Democrats want their constituents Negroes Mexicans Arabs Etc to think the other side hates them because of their skin tone. Which is bullshit and you know it.

Maybe you have examples of Articles bitching about people of color who are behaving like normal human beings. Feel free to point those out.

I think some people here are naive about what a collapse of the EU means as it pertains to the eastern front. A collapse of the EU is "precisely" what russia wants.

The collapse of the EU is their own doing. I still don't believe Russia's as big of an enemy s everybody wants to believe

Greece is gonna get out and default on all their debt

Europe will be much better off when it's all said and done

Something needed to change within the framework of the EU, for sure. Having a single currency while retaining individual economies, tax regimes etc is just a bad idea. There are some other things that need to be reformed - more transparency in the process for sure, most people have no idea how it works, and it very much gives the impression of decrees from on high. While that's not true if you just go by what your media outlet or politician of choice tells you it is understandable people see it that way.

That being said, we should be leading the reforms, not abandoning it.

I think Russia getting cozy with its former members is very much just the start. Expect to see military alliances in the next decade or two whereby Russia can put it's military basically on the border of Europe from Norway in the north to Greece in the south.

It's time for the European nations to stop relying on American military strength and projection of power. There is plenty of economic power within individual EU nations to stand up to Russia.

Indeed, the UK was instrumental in composing the sanctions placed by the EU on Russia. But like it or not, the world is a very small place these days. What affects one country affects the rest. Except in Africa, that place if fucked up. But even there, there are unions between countries springing up, similar to the EU.

Didn't they try to make an African Union and the US and EU shit all over it?
