tiamat63
Well fellows, I lost my father this morning, 2:19 a.m. to cancer. I managed to be right at his side when he went. Fuck cancer. Painful, bud. Beyond so... My condolences to you and yours. I was planning going to sleep, but I'll crack open another this bottle of 46 in honor of your pops. If there is any silver lining, you got to see him on home. Most people don't get that chance. Rest easy and make sure to take time to process your grief. Fuck cancer square in the dick. StinkHole
Stuart My condolences. Was at my old mans bedside when he died of old age... It's exceptionally tough having a loved one die from disease because they often go before their time. Just not fair.

OldBrownsFan
Congratulations Cysko. I was looking at a video of my grandson yesterday when he was a few weeks old and sleeping and watching the expressions on his face. It made me wonder what in the world a 2 week old baby would dream about that would make him frown at one point and then break out into a smile a few seconds later? The Cysko Kid
The world is still cool, tiamat. Things are what you make them. Pretty soon this crappy election will pass and things will settle down again. It's still a good place, it beats the alternative. I'd rather be alive than otherwise. bbedward
Congrats Cysko, hope she has a long, happy, healthy life. Congratulations Cysko. It made me wonder what in the world a 2 week old baby would dream about that would make him frown at one point and then break out into a smile a few seconds later? Probably whatever they have observed from their surroundings - parents, toys Babies spend 2x or more the amount of time in REM sleep than adults do, probably because their brains are actively developing - but that means they dream a whole lot more than the average adult, probably.
