Right as the New Jersey was opening up with her big 16" guns to keep the NK forces from attacking our supply depots, M*A*S*H units and other interests. Guess what it worked pretty well with surgical hits in areas up to 20 miles in from her guns. My dad said when they did a full broadside with all 9 guns the nearly 1,000 foot long ship would move sideways in the water. But that was the old "wars" aren't being fought with battleships now, it's cruise missles and smart bombs....let’s hope the nukes never show up or it will be Armageddon for those too close for comfort. They have enacted an embargo and NK ships are returning home full of coal. Syria might have been a ploy to warn NK. Hopefully it won't come to war after all.
