The Gipper
Before I give you the Trivia Question of the Day, which is about 4th qtr. comeback victories by QBs in a season , I want to give you a bit of information about the Browns and their comebacks. The Browns record for a QB for most Browns 4th qtr. comebacks in a season is 5. And, as you may guess, this WAS done by Brian Sipe....but NOT in the so called Kardiac Kids year of 1980, but rather, the year before in 1979 when he had those 5 comebacks. In the 1980 season he only had 3 4th qtr. comeback victories. The following Browns QBs had 4 4th qtr. comeback wins in a season: Brian Hoyer, Bernie Kosar....and Mike Phipps...Twice!!. So, to the Triva Question: Name the 8 QBs in NFL history who had 6 or more 4th Qtr. comeback victories in a season. Note, one guy did it twice. mjp28
I'll have to go back with some of my favorites first:. Montana, Marino, Johnny U. (had a small how to play football book with Unitas on the cover as a kid), Moon (never got much credit), Farve (Farv-a-licous fun to watch, it's a TD, no INT, no he's running with the ball, Madden's all-time favorite.) Then the "others" Elway, big Ben Roethlisberger, Brady for my 8....wait scratch big Ben go with Peyton. Eh ?
