That's a Chevrolet Tahoe or Suburban.

Paint it red and we'll call it a fire engine.

I still maintain that Berry & Stef like hybrids.  JOK (just signed) & Felton are hybrids on different sides of the ball.  I see Felton lining up in the backfield, then splitting out wide or into the slot.  Or starting in the slot and shifting into the backfield.  (just gotta make sure that he can block...at least mediocre)

IMO Berry & Stef want fast players.  They're building us to be fast...

Like yourself...I don't like, so-called 3rd down specialist...

I do like Stef, with new offensive toys..

From Si,

An ideal case scenario for what Demetric Felton can be with the Browns is a mold of what Duke Johnson was. A capable running back that can get some carries and rather get outside, instead of between the tackles.<<(tell that to Duke) With Felton’s big play ability he has shown there is the ability to hit the home run at anytime. *Getting the rookie in space and letting him work will be huge.

First step for Felton is making the team. He will be in battle for the third running back position with D’Ernest Johnson and there is nothing to say that the team will keep four running backs.

Felton has one thing working for him, his head coach loves creativity. A player like Felton gives you the chance to get creative. Taking snaps with both the receivers and running backs, the rookie will get his chance as long as he earns it. A player that is surely intriguing to this team.

He will make the team and we will keep Johnson.

Felton can easily be counted in with WR's if it comes down to a numbers counting process.  Johnson makes the team because both of Chubb and Hunt won't be on the team for long.  We will have to walk away from one of them.  Both will command a large contract number..  Johnson has shown solid ability.  It would be stupid to cut him.

More guys showing up for the 2nd week of voluntaries.  -  Baker is hosting his own 'skill players' workouts in TX.  They'll join in next week for the mandatories.  But not this week......c'os they wanna play by themselves this week.  They're busy bonding.  No big fat guys allowed.

She should be questioned seriously by a professional about whether she has an alcohol addiction and if so, required to go through a treatment/educational program. Future employment with the Browns should be contingent upon future sobriety. No excuses.

Beat me to it Tex..   Moral of the story...  if you've been drinking, drive like the little old lady on the way to Church. But not toooo slow :)  Speeding at midnight is a guaranteed way to get yourself pulled over by the night shift cop with nothing better to do. For you out of state guys- you get bonus whacks in Ohio for being "seriously tanked" like Callie was.   Welcome to the standard for a first offense three day drunk school (in lieu of jail), you're going to have to take the addiction potential test too- and it's mighty tough to lie on it.  That's just the start, probably 20+ hours of judge mandated counseling on top of it.

I'm hard on people who drink and put everyone else at risk. I had a very good friend killed Halloween Night 1980 by a guy who hit him from behind at a stoplight breaking his neck instantly. The guy was so drunk he did not even know he had been driving let alone killed someone. I never drink and drive. Not even one beer.

CB Greg Newsome.. Sign's with agent Drew Rosenhaus on Thursday..  https://brownswire.usatoday.com/2021/06/10/greg-newsome-joins-rosenhaus-sports-remains-unsigned-with-browns/

I feel? Newsome got to OTA's.. Talked with some Veteran players.. Advised him to move off previous agent.. and here we are.. Njoku is also rep'd by Rosenhaus..

No worries! deal should fall into slotted draft position.. Can't for 2 more days, due to firing his 1st agent.. there's a 5 day window... surely i could have agent switch wrong... your thoughts?

Callie Brownson was suspended by the Browns.. Not by the NFL..

I'm not speculating on when a Chief of Staff might return? anybody? Do we think she may miss any regular season games?

Browns OTA's have ended.....Clean....no injuries to report...

KC may* have lost G Kyle Long for Week 1? Knee..  https://arrowheadaddict.com/2021/06/10/kc-chiefs-kyle-long-suffers-serious-leg-injury-per-report/

Maybe a good idea to steal this one from the Pluto thread (thanks WSS)... really good insight into the rookies that Pluto maybe hearing good things about at OTA's..

https://www.cleveland.com/browns/2021/06/what-im-hearing-from-browns-mini-camp-about-some-draft-picks-terry-pluto.html?outputType=amp

I've been hoping to hear some good things from the Charlotte kid.. I did get a chance to watch TH3 here locally...Excited to see the MAC transfer made Pluto's list..

I'm just telling ya.. 🤓..

don't under-estimate this kids luv of the game..His head up vision.. And can straight up bang & ball with the rest of them..(keeping it real? i do see him on the Browns PS for this season)..

So let's Meet running back... TH3... a Solid pick-up by Berry, imo...

Born up the road from me in Shelby, NC... Friday night lights High school days... (imo..he was Todd Gurley, that good!)

College...  stiff arms & a goal line nose of a FB...

The Word? thought KBKC sums him up very well 💪

Good Luck TH3 ! ! #gutzy-grinder

Very nice patience when running with the ball which will suit him well in our scheme.  Sets up behind his blocks well...  Makes a cut and accelerates decently...doesn’t dance a lot.   I see lots arm tackle attempts that he runs through too.

I’ll throw out a comp. too - definitely not seeing Kareem Hunt but I see Justin Forsett.  He’s a little taller but he lacks that top end gear but he finds the hole accelerates well and can break tackles

Tretter wants to dump most voluntary minicamps. Many players agree with Tretter. He believes 2020 demonstrated teams could skip on field minicamps/OTAs and go straight to veterans camp in the late summer without it hurting the quality of play.

I doubt the coaches and FO are overly thrilled with that.  I look for him to be replaced for the '22 season.

Tretter is a smart guy but I remember hearing about the uptick in injuries during the last part of the season.  Good explanation here from a medical professional and it makes sense.

I think the upcoming contract extensions given to young players approaching free agency will be more of a reason Tretter might be replaced.

But I don't quite understand the thinking by the starting offensive players. Most or all of them are down in Texas holding an impromptu camp with Baker in support of Tretter's stance on OTA's... They can get hurt just as easily down there than they can in Berea.

excellent TH3, view points made here by SB ^^ Am a big fan of don't dance alot's

Forsett.. another good player comp! 👍

Breaking News* Gumby sucks when it comes to making player comps 🤓... my mind block?.. I think?

I block out the players that got drafted after playing 5 seasons.. Somehow? my mind only rolls thru the last 5 draft season tape viewings..

So....I see a now Buccaneers RB Ronald Jones ll running behind his pads..

Stay tuned...Ronald Jones deuce only ran a 4.69 at his combine...

Call me a big fan of ballers, that appear to be faster when being chased by big dudes.. or just gets behind his pads & trucks them over..

and i like the thought of calling him....Tesla Tre !

Very relieved to see no fumbles in his college career as looked to me that he moves the ball around a good bit on the run... "pinned" to his forearm rather than high n tight.

I do 2nd the take on his patience... a ZBS must.

Actually, I weighed that into my thinking.  Plus the fact that they drafted a guy who can play center last year.

It's not so much his patience, which is an obvious plus.  When he plants his foot and turns back inside he does it decisively and with power.  No real speed to get ahead of angles and he doesn't have the lateral movement or cross center cutback like Chubb. So for me that's where the Morris comparison really shines.      He's a plug and player runner in a shanny OZ system.
