I remember it like it was just last year... Baker is a little guy (comparatively) who misses high when throwing over the OL. He makes some really dumb decisions on the field sometimes. His personality can get gruff, which may not endear him to some (maybe even some team mates). But at times he can play pretty well. He's the best QB we've had this century. But the Rams traded their #1 overall pick QB because they knew he wasn't good enough to win Superbowls. (plural) AND they had traded up to get the guy that they traded away! The Rams understand how important it is to have an elite QB. - We know that our guy doesn't seem to be able to take a team down the field at the end of games for the win. Admit it, we don't have confidence in him doing that. But, he may be our best option. And right now we don't have the receiver weapons to give ANY QB. And it's quite possible that we need a passing scheme evaluation done. Somehow though, we've gotta become much better at moving ourselves down the field quickly with the passing game.
