Browns 2022 Roster Bubble

Thought this maybe a good time to get this started..

Sure! We've only seen Camp notes & a PS game 1, but we've also seen/heard some guys making noise that may surprise some Lower depth chart players..

At the top of your list should maybe include your opinion on? Who's RB Jerome Ford replacing? Hunt/ DJ/ Felton? trade?

WR4/5/6/PR still remains wide open..

16 Wims, Javon SF22 80 Winston, Easop W/NO 17 Baldwin, Daylen CF22
Bell, David 22/3 12 Woods II, Michael 22/6 82 Harley Jr., Mike CF22

heck, I liked what i saw from WR Daylen Baldwin.. but he don't return kicks..but Higgy2 he may be

Our OL roster still screams adding a Tackle & Center? Is Hubbard & Pocic a good gamble?

66 Hudson III, James 21/4 70 Taylor, Alex CF20 67 Miller, Wyatt SF22

heck I've already moved M.Dunn to C2

68 Dunn, Michael SF20
57 Hoffman, Brock CF22

imo Brock also played well too 🤔

but, I'd hope Callahan has seen Brock Huffman as a C2..a fair test might be seen Sunday?

On Defense here's some names..

At LB.. JOK & maybe Taki are the only locks?

MLB 5 Walker Jr., Anthony U/Ind 50 Phillips, Jacob 20/3 51 Kunaszyk, Jordan SF22

were left with..

42 Fields II, Tony 21/5 54 Harvey Jr., Willie CF19
56 Allen, Dakota U/Jax

Depth DE's?

69 Winovich, Chase T/NE 59 Weaver, Curtis W/Mia 58 Thomas, Isaiah 22/7
94 Wright, Alex 22/3 98 Rochell, Isaac U/Ind 61 Odom, Chris SF22

Like most I'm happy with our Corners roster'd 👌... While Safety Richard LeCounte might be sitting on a roster bubble also

39 LeCounte III, Richard 21/5 36 Kirk IV, Luther W/Atl
33 Harrison Jr., Ronnie T/Jax 37 Bell, D'Anthony CF22 35 Moffatt, Jovante W/NYJ

D'Anthony Bell has been solid in PS1 & at camp..

I'm sure much was decided with many reps not seen at the Eagles inter-squad... But most should still have interest in pulling for a underdog in PS games 2 & 3..

Who ya got your Camp Bubble eyes on? 👀... and note.. the DT position I purposely left off because a rookie Dawg named P. Winfrey can't do this alone..

A Thread is now open to post & enjoy your 1PM Sunday kickoff on the NFLnetwork.. Enjoy!

Go Browns !

I've really got no idea, especially on D. The NFL has changed philosophies regarding formations, so teams need more DBs. Guys like JOK may be the LBs of the future.

The Browns seemed destined to lose a good RB, there's plenty of talent on the 80 man roster. I like Hunt, but if a team is desperate and wants to give up a high pick, they might trade him.

I really had a hard time doing the defense.. I chose to pick over it last.. final try, I'm saving the offense for last..

I've seen/read a 4th or 5th rounder trading Hunt.. His almost 7M$ contract would travel with him(wanting more).. I'd really like to see Hunt stay healthy up to the trade deadline..(week 8.) We'd be on the hook for 8 weeks of his remaining contract... might squeeze out a late 2nd..or more likely a 3rd to a playoff team.. or...

Hunt stays a Brown & becomes runner up to Nick Chubb as the Browns MVP :o...

edit-- @Unsympathetic have you seen a 2022 Waiver Wire team order?

Howdy gumby, hope all is well.

That scenario, yes that's ok. No way Id trade Hunt for a 4th rounder.

Yeah, we took our 5th wheel out west in late April, made it a 6 week trip to three of the National Parks in Utah (Bryce, Zion, & Capitol Reef). Amazing scenery, Capitol Reef is so under  rated, wow we loved it. Down south then a bit towards Santa Fe, then up through Oklahoma, Kansas. Really cool state parks in Kansas, believe it or not.  We're headed to Texas late september through October to visit the grandkids.

Go Browns. Lots of distractions, but maybe they survive & surprise the AFC.

A Few 8 things might need to be sorted out..

1. Rosen to PS? or we add a upgraded cut? tRams have a QB3, that would fit nicely behind Dobbs..while adding unprotected PS players have to go towards the 53

2. Keeping a FB Stanton vs D. Felton on the 53? or do they like Harley/Bradley over both?

3.) Is Schwartz the WR3? Is Bradley the WR5? One or both could slide down or off the chart with a WR cut/FA added

4.) Our TE3 is not on this team.. Guess this former playing TE, will be watching Forristall or Griffin-Stewart tonight

5.) I've seen OL 53's that don't put Blake Hance on it👀.. Hance>Hudson at playing RT..Watching Hoffman/Forbes or Froholt vs Hance has become a thing

6.) Winovich contract holds no guarantees (and not done much)..Rochell's does..though little, and adding Weaver into mix, may need a looks'zee tonight. Note-Rookie Isiah Thomas making this 53, was my biggest long-shot surprise from the date he was drafted.. congrats on your new daughter & ya proved not only me as wrong ! but, Ya earned it! 💪

7.) Our past says we don't play many LB's but 2.. Will that change any, with a weaken DT front? Dakota Allen looks to be after Fields or Harvey's ST spot? Kunaszyk has done nothing but come in here, and plays hard-nose football..I've really enjoyed that time spent watch

8.) The DB Back-end depth...has 5 somewhat solid CB's..Keeping Richard LeCounte and J. Bell both, makes up a sometimes if'y Safety roster of 5 to equal the 10.. Leaving Cb's Lavert Hill/Herb Miller/Shaun Jolly & Safety Dovante Moffatt as your game-time watch..

Any player inputs or other player battles are welcome !

Browns vs Bears Saturday night 7pm...👀 I'll look to have a 53/16 guess at roster, sometime on Sunday or maybe after the all 22 releases.. meanwhile..

Let's Go Browns !

edit-- I'm off to a million things to do before tonight's game!     gotta 🏃‍♂️

In the madness of all the Ourlads individual player shuffling.. I somehow lost poor

70 Taylor, Alex CF20

 in the mixing..

I'll place found T Alex Taylor on the **PS.. And found our depth leans more towards releasing a young yute from the **PS

49 CB Jolly, Shaun CF22

we call these unofficial.. https://brownswire.usatoday.com/lists/cleveland-browns-roster-cuts-2022-53-man-roster/ (there will be others/players agents post is a good tool to follow in these times) so stay tuned to the Browns official website

Not the Browns roster... but he could be.

https://sports.yahoo.com/bears-releasing-preseason-standout-dt-163805848.html

I'm watching Trevon rip apart our IOL right now.  The guy was a force the entire time he was out there and had one hell of a pre-season.

edit: Not sure what guaranteed money we gave to Taven Bryan, but I'd take Trevon in a heartbeat  at 3tech with what I saw.

I think it is safe to say that the DLine - inside AND outside - will be a big focus of the Browns next offseason.

There is no off-season, you're always looking for ways to improve your team.  And if Taven Bryan is the answer at 3tech, then I don't want to know what the question was.

Top roster cuts of other teams

Alex leatherwood! OJ Howard! Duke Johnson! Bring out your dead! And, for some reason, the 3rd-highest-net punter..

Cam Robinson made Leatherwood ALOT of money.

Another one of those mammoth Bama tackles whose bread is made based on his bulldozing in the running game, and his ability to use his hands really well in pass pro.   Sadly Leatherwood wasn't anywhere near as good of a striker, so if you can't slow down that edge rush, you're going to get exposed.     Interesting guard prospect though.

1.) Stanton IV, Johnny SF20 I had as out/than back in= CUT* ...heard rumors, FB's are a easy PS stash, because teams can add a extra need.(TE Forristall for now) Due to FB team usage? It's a good chance Stanton clears waivers to our PS. I saw a guy, that I thought earned his way back in, after playing thru his injury in PS3.. He's also a guy we've seen lined up at TE. Which is weak at TE3

2.)Hance, Blake P/NYJ I had Hance in twice..now CUT*.. Had Forbes in once/than out in final cuts= he's IN*.. I've learned keeping a fair Guard, that can play RT.. Was out-weighted to keep a Center3 Dutchman named Hjalte Frohoidt..On tv, Hjalte Froholdt might be the smallest 6'5' 310lb Dutchman known to mankind.. I've always like Micheal Dunn playing Center

3.)Forristall, Miller SF21 I actually had him in twice! And he's IN*... But you won't like him blocking :P.. Find another TE3..Even OJ Howard

4.)LeCounte III, Richard 21/5 He's IN*..I had him Out orginally..because I really wanted D.A Bell to get in.. I only put LeCounte back in after seeing Berry won't cut his draftees..On the final cut.. I cut Forbes to get Bell & LeCounte back in..

5.)Miller, Herb SF21-- CUT*// GOOD!  I kept Herbie in twice... because he's the only NB/slot defender we had behind G.Newsome.. Miller playing with LeCounte was always a confusing mess watch in PS.. Were really going to miss trading Troy Hill back to the Rams...  H.Miller was not the guy to play behind G.Newsome.. Find another nickle/slot

I'll check mark ✔️  3 errors in final projection above..(than still track/update)

It was fun to guess..but they're never easy...

Can we move him to Center?

Interesting cuts from other teams:

1] 2019 2nd round Marquise Blair - RAS .. no real snaps, 10 tackles total in career so far

2] 2022 WR prospect Bo Melton - RAS.. someone pegged as a Late Round Gem predraft

3] 2021 3rd round Wyatt Davis - he was the #1 OG prospect coming out of HS

4] TE OJ Howard

5] LB Skalski

6] WR Josh Gordon

7] C Austin Reiter

8] DT Danny Shelton
