Medical tech saved his life - this will change him in a good way - he is a great guy, in a bunch of great guys. The balance/scale can tip so easily, oh, how close Hamlin came to losing his life. Still, surviving changes you. Getting a second chance at life - you tend to be valuing life - everything around you - so much more than some things and people you took for granted before. The changes are good changes - and they tend to last a lifetime with most folks. You realize every day is a gift - every special moment is never to be forgotten. People you love dearly - being with them again and again every day - impact your life far more than it would have. Hamlin nearly lost his life on TV - that will impact so many folks. Not as much as it will Hamlin, his family and friends.
