One thing is for sure- every other owner in the NFL is taking a huge ass sigh of relief. To me, the worst part of this whole thing is Watson spurned Cleveland in the first place until they offered this insane contract. The Browns literally sugar daddied Watson into being here, it's just all so stupid.

Man this shit is a wild ride- fuck it, PJ Walker superbowl who disagrees?

To be honest- a part of me is wondering the medical team just misdiagnosed it at first and are trying to keep it under wraps.

Let's put it this way- the following games are the ones where they really can't afford to drop: -Cardinals, Bears, Broncos Then the following are "will likely be the favorites": -Rams, Texans, Jets, Rams The way I see it, assuming 7-0 in those games is of course unlikely but going say 5-2 across that spectrum puts the Browns in a great position for postseason play. It comes down to getting a few division wins at that point.

I get as well that Jacoby isn't a guy you'll offer the max deal to. But it's also worth noting that in 11 games played Brissett was 8th in the league in total QBR, above both of the big dog QB's in our division. that stat is for sure a bit flawed as the latter played several more games, but Brissett could easily lead this team to significant success and would only need a short time to get on his feet. I rarely overhype potential moves but this one in particular is worth exploring heavily.

Yeah, sort of feels like mind games based on the lollipop passes he was putting out there. Something about the whole situation just reeks to me though, but I don't know. I feel like some are saying it's "mind games" to have opponents think Watson is gonna be out there, but when are injuries this secretive? Is it a situation where perhaps the Browns medical team just missed it, and now don't want egg on their face? It's just very, very weird to me.

Watson's comments yesterday made it seem pretty obvious he's not playing Sunday. With that being said, I have confidence in Walker this game to get the offense moving. The Colts losing Grover Stewart is a big loss for our area of strength on the line at the guard positions. This is a definitely a game that needs to be in the W column.
