  1. Trust me, I’ve complained in droves about his decision making on 4th down. But to be honest, that sneak is probably 3x as likely to be successful as a kick there. Not getting that is akin to missing a chip shot wide left.
  2. Eh that was a pretty easy decision to go for it. That’s a plays that is almost as automatic as it gets, just a bad break. You can say fuck the odds but that’s probably a 95% of success.
  3. 3 losses by a total of 6 points. Needed 10 more yards to win this game. Needed a simple red zone field goal to win this game. Let’s face it- this team expects to lose and plays like it.
  4. Could have ran for a first there- Jacoby just makes bad decisions in the 4th quarter late.
  5. That was not a long 1 unless I’m losing my mind. That was less than half a yard.
  6. Jacoby is literally unstoppable against the sneak and that’s what you do. 4D dumbass chess.
  7. Im pretty sure I haven’t seen a single stunt, cross blitz, or anything remotely resembling something other a straight rush. Stef needs to find some balls and shake up this defensive staff. Idc who would take over, this can’t be worse.
  8. Tbh you just hate to see that flag- there’s no room for that
  9. The defense just needs a shakeup. We have two ++defensive ends, two first round corners, and guys who have played well in the past just absolutely fucking whiffing out there. It’s very obvious coaching is a significant issue.
  10. It is incredible how bad this defense is. Something’s gotta change- we have too much talent to be this bad. I know our IDL is poor but this is a bottom 5 offensive line in the NFL. it also seems like the chargers know exactly what we are doing scheme wise.
  11. I'll tell you this much, Jacoby two games in crunch time went from Mr. Conservative to Mr. Big shot and it cost the potential to tie/win the game. On Sunday, D'Ernest on a simple checkdown on the 3rd and 22 would have gotten 10-12 yards back. Against the Jets, they dropped 9 into coverage and almost the exact same situation occurred. Heck, in both situations they were at the exact same position on the field (Cleveland 46). The most important time of the game where I'd want to see captain checkdown or safe throw and he tried to play hero ball. I get those are going to be 60-62 yard field goals, but it's better than losing the game. I agree, though, that it ain't on Brissett. I can accept close losses, but this team should be 3-1. Not "the ball didn't bounce your way" kinda loss, but an absolute coaching meltdown from being 3-1. I'm really not sure what else you all expected.
  12. allegedly the Browns were on his list of teams to join. Could be wrong, too, but I would cast doubt a month into not being employed he's being super picky unless it's truly a ring chasing thing. Something's gotta give though, that's for sure. I get you can't polish a turd but it's brutal to watch.
  13. Normally I'm not the "go find veterans" a month into the season, but our DT are literally playing at the worst clips (per PFF) in the NFL. There's literally no way a dude like Suh could be worse, why not take a low risk?
  14. I swear, if I could bet any amount of money that this defense would give up points after we take the lead I would. It feels like it happens every time.
  15. Let’s face it, this had all the markings of a let down game. Stefanski has to know better to not take the points when half the defense is out. Drives me fucking insane.
  16. Hopefully this is the wake up call for sure. I’m guessing those tickets were hushed away and didn’t mean anything, but this should. I’ll be honest, I drove like a shithead and I drove a crappy Lancer. Granted I wasn’t doing 100mph, but I didn’t have a fancy ass car. I also loved in an area with these back roads and not a lot of traffic. It took a ticket and a lot of money for me at the time to knock it off. Sometimes it takes a rough wake up call- let’s hope that’s the case for Myles.
  17. Thanks-all good on the Southeast Coast. Had an absolutely brutal band with tornado warnings but fortunately no impacts close by. Send the positive vibes to our western FL friends and family for sure. Not to sound overly dramatic but this could be a life changing storm for certain parts of the state. Disney closed for two days-only the 10th and 11th time they've ever done that. And it's not stopping. People forget on top of these hurricanes that one high rise collapse really spooked insurance companies. I don't see any other solution that a state sponsored and backed insurance program for all Floridians (Citizens). Problem is, that will be definition of bare bones and buying additional coverage will be unaffordable for millions. Yet we're building new homes by the second...sigh. Stay safe ya'll.
  18. It's looking more likely it'll hit south of Tampa- definitely in an odd way better for the state but rough for those involved. Everyone loses with these big hurricanes though-insurance is already a nightmare for homes and this is going to have a crazy impact.
  19. It's already getting nasty here in Palm Beach County, and we're not going to get any serious impacts. Prayers up to you folks in the Tampa area, it's going to get really bad there. Could easily be a historic, once in a generation flooding/surge.
  20. My musings- 1) Brissett is exactly the QB that can lead this offense to nearly it's full potential. JB is currently 10th in QBR (and that includes a below average 42.7 week one). Our beloved Mayfield is currently dead last. Nothing showed that more than the 3rd and 1 deep throw to Cooper. Yeah he may have been pretty open, but that's still a clutch throw (and excellent play call). Simply put, this team can do more than just compete with that level of QB play. 2) How many times can I say what a treat it is to watch Chubb run the football? We love the gash runs, but the dirty work wins games. The way the dude turns -3 yard runs to at least 2-3 yard carries is the best I've ever seen with my two eyeballs. 3) IDL is an absolute nightmare, and losing Walker and potentially JOK is going to be brutal. It's going to lead to even more base looks and bail coverage leading to easy throws. When we start playing the Herberts and Burrows of the world, it could get ugly fast in terms of completion %. That man was NOT getting beat over the top last night though, that's for sure. Sadly, there's no fix for that- just have to hope guys develop.
  21. Say what you will, but Brissett is leading this offense with beauty. Nothing better than watching the big dog eat. pleas don’t wang this.
  22. No better way to say it. An absolute refusal to get beat deep results in easy throws short. You can’t blame ward for playing bail (I’m sure that’s not the right wordage) and giving up a 12 yard curl route.
  23. Running bail coverage on 2nd and 19 sets up those wide open 7-12 curl routes. Been exploited all night- again, woods adjustment is refusing to be beaten over the top.
