LOLOLOLOL. NFL won't touch him now. 23-11 vs the spread the last two years? That's a historic cover rate that 05 USC, Texas, 06 tOSU, 2008 Florida, 2009 Bama, 2013 FSU and 2019 LSU didn't even match.
Betting is too prevalent of a industry now for this gambling partners to not have a say in this with their ownership and conference connects. Harbaugh is, and rightfully so, absolutely fucking toast at both levels.
Which reminds me, has Woody had anything predictable to say on that topic?
I ironically would bet you the best 6 pack I can offer from south Florida he gets a HC job in the NFL.
he’s absolutely a boom or bust but someone like the Bears might go for it thinking it cant get worse.

I still obviously think this defense is good, but it’s apparent the aggressive nature of the whole scheme is getting exposed a bit. This would of course look a whole lot better if they weren’t on the field 80% of the damn game.

This entire Deshaun Rub One Out Watson situation sucks complete balls for us fans and lord knows we have all been through more than is deserved, but I'm not going to lie, I think it's funny as fuck for everyone in the Browns organization who green lighted this epic disaster of a trade.
Start at Jimmy and end with whatever Yes Man sat across the table and thought, "Yea, let's give one quarter of a billion USD to a QB who hasn't played in a year, is under investigation by the authorities for sexually lewd conduct and will be suspended by the NFL for an as of yet, undetermined amount of time ...... and let's guarantee all of it!"
Every single POS evolved in this historic fuck up should be fired and that includes Jimmy the Thief.
I'll be rooting for whichever QB is under center doing his best to fill in for the biggest mistake to ever happen to Cleveland.
One thing is for sure- every other owner in the NFL is taking a huge ass sigh of relief.
To me, the worst part of this whole thing is Watson spurned Cleveland in the first place until they offered this insane contract. The Browns literally sugar daddied Watson into being here, it's just all so stupid.

I agree. Why so cryptic ? it's not like they can gain anything from it
To be honest- a part of me is wondering the medical team just misdiagnosed it at first and are trying to keep it under wraps.

Let's put it this way- the following games are the ones where they really can't afford to drop:
-Cardinals, Bears, Broncos
Then the following are "will likely be the favorites":
-Rams, Texans, Jets, Rams
The way I see it, assuming 7-0 in those games is of course unlikely but going say 5-2 across that spectrum puts the Browns in a great position for postseason play. It comes down to getting a few division wins at that point.

Brisket fits in well to stefanskis offense, though bringing him back will make fans even more hostile to Deshaun if he finally starts playing again.
But what would be a browns season without people demanding the backup. After all, some did demand DTR after week 1. That’d be amplified x 100 with brisket.
To be honest, my sentiments come from the rational position of thinking Watson will miss several more games. I know Stefanski said he's the guy Sunday, but IDK. Getting 3-4 games of even slightly above average QB could be incredibly important, especially against the division.

This is spot on.
I'm sure the Browns are & have been making phone calls You have to have a willing trade partner. Washington most likely ups it's price due to the Browns need.
Right now, it's a lot like buying a new car because your other one is a lemon. You know you're going to overpay.
We will see. Did this contract anger the 31 other owners so much that they won't want to aid Haslam's team?
Damn. As fans there's not much we can do about it.
I get as well that Jacoby isn't a guy you'll offer the max deal to. But it's also worth noting that in 11 games played Brissett was 8th in the league in total QBR, above both of the big dog QB's in our division. that stat is for sure a bit flawed as the latter played several more games, but Brissett could easily lead this team to significant success and would only need a short time to get on his feet.
I rarely overhype potential moves but this one in particular is worth exploring heavily.

Let’s face it- the browns were the benefit of an extremely mediocre call. But you know what? The browns never get that shit. It’s nice to be on that side of the coin.

To be honest the only thing I can think of is these guys didn’t think they’d be this good. That’s a great throw but there’s no excuse to make a tackle- just lazy football.

On 4th down? That's like going all-in with pocket 2's.
Yes- the momentum of a first down there is unbelievable. Coach put his players there to be in a great position to win and they didn’t execute.

Insane play call. Just insane
No it wasn’t. That might have a been a touchdown and ford dropped it. Just an inexcusable miss.

It almost felt like Delpit thought the play was dead. Man Garrett drives me crazy with that stuff though.
Imagine being a fucking idiot and complaining about Myles Garrett.

Stop calling it a 'miscommunication'. We've established that's not physically possible unless Joe Woods is the DC.
Jokes aside, why is everyone so flat footed today man? Like why the hell is JOK not following Pittman- I understand it’s zone coverage but it’s like they don’t believe Minshew can actually make the plays.

It’s better if Watson is out to be honest. What an absolute embarrassment.

Shoulder still looks a bit bummed. Ball didn't have much on it and there was room to lead, instead he put it on him. Great play by Blackmon. Once he saw the QB roll, he treated it like a pure half field.
Felt like a lame duck for sure.

Watson was limited in practice today- means he actually threw a few passes. So don't rule him out- yet.
Yeah, sort of feels like mind games based on the lollipop passes he was putting out there.
Something about the whole situation just reeks to me though, but I don't know. I feel like some are saying it's "mind games" to have opponents think Watson is gonna be out there, but when are injuries this secretive? Is it a situation where perhaps the Browns medical team just missed it, and now don't want egg on their face? It's just very, very weird to me.
-
Watson's comments yesterday made it seem pretty obvious he's not playing Sunday.
With that being said, I have confidence in Walker this game to get the offense moving. The Colts losing Grover Stewart is a big loss for our area of strength on the line at the guard positions. This is a definitely a game that needs to be in the W column.

Browns cover is fine by me, never happier to lose money.
Just busting your balls man. You'd think I was intentionally picking the wrong things if you saw my sports bets.

I think a part of it is Stalions seems like he’s insane. There’s strong rumors he has an almost 600 page self described manifesto on Michigan football. There’s a chance he can remove himself enough from the weirdo to save his future, but obviously we will see how the chips keep falling.
