By design.
When you stick an aging LB out on a RB, I'm going to take the easy yardage.
And Hilliard isn't the backup, he's becoming the preferred pass catching RB

He wan't inaccurate THIS game. Too many catachable passes dropped, and two of them turned into ricochet interceptions. FYI- those ints go on Baker- when they're the receiver's fault. the one Landry coughed up I understand, but not the game ender though.
Your standard of accuracy is different than mine. He properly lead the WR/TE a handful of times. Throwing it near someone isn't the name of the game. He throws it behind everyone. He almost bounced once that OBJ scoop with no reason to throw it low. When he has time and guys come open he's dangerous, unfortunately that doesn't happen much in the NFL.

How many of the interceptions were tipped into the defenders hands? Receiver with the kind of notoriety our receivers have should catch anything that touches their fingers.
WSS
WRs haven't helped him but most of those were thrown behind guys. As an OU fan I didn't like drafting Baker because this is what I was afraid of.

You can't be a shitty QB and set the rookie TD record in less than a full season, though. Kitchens and Monken are really doing Mayfield a huge disservice with their horrible play calling.
No one said shitty. He's average at best. The rookie TD record means nothing, sorry I know many in here want that to be some great accomplishment but it isn't. Mayfield has been extremely inaccurate this year. The OLine and WRs haven't helped him much but he hasn't been good. He's got 5 TDs and 11 INTs...bad

QB is debatable. He's been carried by his defense since the Super Bowl. Coaching I'll give you.
Brady vs Baker.....If you are debating Baker is better you may want to rethink what sports you watch

Interesting that SF looks average against the Rams.
Are you watching the game? They marched it down field and scored and they are marching again....

Can't blame this one on the refs, even though there were some terrible calls. We scored our 20th point with 14:54 left in the first half.......and then the Freddie & Faker show took over

Baker or Mahomes LOL
Baker or Brian Hoyer?

Where's Hoorta to tell us all is ok?

He's not as good as many thought

Decided to steer clear of here last night during the dumpster fire but can't stay silent today. Things that were solidified for me. We thought the offensive line is sub par and it clearly is. Now to the best of my knowledge no one in here works for the Browns but I'm a like sketchy on how John Dorsey didn't realize this. Baker is Baker. With a clean pocket and time he can hit receivers but under duress he absolutely worthless. Baker is also a self-apologist, ego maniac and clearly not a leader as we saw OBJ trying to rally the troops instead of Baker. The defense is solid. They can use some fine tuning but if they are supported by a competent offense I think they can keep this team in games. And I'm still holding my breath that the DB we selected FUCKING 4th can actually get on the field and play like the FUCKING 4th pick, oh wait he's a Buckeye can we criticize him.....

TV announcers mentioned like 3 times already about the penalty that gave us the first on our TD drive smh
Shouldn't have needed it but OBJ dropped it

The new crack back rule makes me irrationally angry. Cause a guy isn’t looking means they can’t block them? Garbage
I get what they are doing but there needs to be some discretion. I don't like the Hines Ward hit where you de-cleat a guy who isn't aware but a simple block should still be legal

I have an irrational dislike of Ward so fuck him

On the road against a better opponent Ratbirds 28 Browns 13

AD Astra suffered from so many issues. Wasn't very good.

Didn't like Baker's presser today. He just doesn't take criticism well.

Freddie is going to take the blame so breath easier Browns fans. Here we are again after the Browns snatch defeat from the jaws if victory. What did Sunday night confirm, our O Line is overmatched, our rookie Head Coach makes costly mistakes and our QB is overhyped. We sit at 1-2 with a win over the lowly Jets. The negative assholes, like me, grinding away at the sunshine pumpers who think we are just one good player away from having a parade. I gotta say guys even this negative jerk is getting tired of it. The constant of just being the Browns. Against all odds finding a way to lose. Finding a way to toss out a phenomenal defensive effort. There was a point one the summer where I had hope but I should've known better but hey at least our first time ever head coach is willing to take the blame.
-
This should be a real test. Some questions will be answered; how will our OLine stack up, can Baker & Freddie consistently move the chains and what do the Browns look like at home, under the lights, on primetime against a legit Super Bowl contender
My heart says 24-21 Browns
My head says 35-17 Rams

Holy Toledo. This must include going to the movies, and all the other ways you view/rent movies these days?
I don't know if I could list 200 in my lifetime...counting movies on TV like The Wizard of OZ as a kid, all that kind of shit.
As a kid I remember the very first movie I saw at a theater with my parents.
I remember the first movie I saw with a girlfriend as a teen. Some good times there..
Nope those are in theater watches only. 2017 64, 2018 72 and 50 so far this year.

I have to say that what infuriated me the most was Baker holding the ball too long. Some of the sacks were well beyond 3-4 seconds after the snap. I don't know if had to do with the playcalls and the routes being too long (thats a Hueish mistake) or him playing the hero.
I also noticed how he almost exclusively played under center when we ran the ball, and even in some empty backfield formations from the shotgun.
I said it before the game and I still think the same. The more we balance our offense between rushes and passes, the more we will succeed, as we got weapons for both those playing styles and no defense can cover them both simultaneously.
Playing calling and coaching are Baker's best friend but he doesn't always listen
-
I used to think so but the last few years I've caught 60-70 each year and it's not that crazy.

I'd bet against a successful NFL career for Murray but wouldn't call him an idiot. He may very well get bounced out of the NFL in 3-4 years and go play baseball at 28

The democrats have swung so far left I would think Trump would be a shoo in for 2020 yet all the polls have him behind substantially right now and it concerns me. With what the democrats have been proposing such as free healthcare for illegal immigrants, open borders. eliminating ICE, trillions of dollars wasted on a Green new deal that would destroy our economy and give us huge tax increases, anti 2a, abortions to fight climate change and on and on they are out of touch with most of middle America and they are leading in the polls against Trump? Trump has had huge successes as president (primarily the economy) and has had the economy Obama only dreamed about and he should be ahead in the polls substantially.
LOL none of these things are true but keep being concerned. And if by middle america you're speaking about geography then you may have a point
Mayfield or Mahomes
in THE BROWNS BOARD

Mayfield should be the reason we won this game. The Browns took him with the first pick to overcome adversity not wallow in it. It's a reaction to poor play, his and the teams. I expect a franchise QB to fit it into windows, make multiple reads and lead his team but there is always week 7 in Foxboro....
