I think him and to a lesser extent Baker are scumbags no matter what.

I divorce my personal feelings from employability concerning most job.  Never asked a waiter if he has had a DWI, never asked a Walmart Clerk if they have a past history of domestic violence and don’t care about NFL players history.  It’s up to the NFL to collectively bargain penalties for actions and employability and if a person is eligible to play, so be it.

He's not as good? Stats say otherwise and the 2017 film shows plenty of great throws to see some flashes or potential to be a star.

Stats aren't as relevant as they once were since systems and leagues are so different.  If stats and film were the entire story we would be partying in the streets over Baker Mayfield being a Brown not crossing our fingers.

Great kid, don't get me wrong.  He seems very humble and hard working.  But if you can detail to me in a paragraph or less what makes him so much more capable of being an NFL QB than say.... Pryor was when leaving tOSU - I might be willing to listen.    Keep in mine, Terrelle worked in a pro-style offense, under center, with 3, 5 and 7 step drops.

Actually, I'll challenge anyone here that likes Jackson to answer that question.  What traits and flashes have you seen of Lamar that would begin to make you believe he is somehow going to be an elite or even above average QB one day?   Of course I ask this to be contrasted with Terrelle Pryor circa 2011.   (Won't happen)

    Aaaaaaand GO!

No one can, he's not as good as Pryor was.

If you are going to send him to a non-contender they better find someone who at least has talent. Unfortunately most bad teams only have one talented guy and it makes no sense to swap one talented guy for another in the NBA. I'd love to see Boston trade Crowder & Thomas for Irving but it just ain't gonna happen.

Didn't really want to see the Nets pick included but Uncle Drew welcome to Boston!

  5. Perhaps true. Nevertheless....if the Cavs were to make a trade with them....one of them would have to be included.

But, here is my view: the Cavs should send Kyrie to the Siberia of the NBA: the Sacramento Kings. They always suck....but they do have some nice young players.

  6. I wouldn't drop that price at all. I would demand more if I were the Cavs. If they don't like the Cavs asking for Wiggins, then how would they like them asking for Towns.

The Wolves would be insane to trade either Wiggins or Towns for Irving. I'm a big fan of Irving's game but he is far from perfect. He is a scorer, which isn't a bad thing, but that's really all he is.

My respect for Kyrie the man (not kyrie the basketball player) is dropping

Kyrie Irving reportedly is not interested in signing an extension with any team at this point.

Irving wants out of Cleveland, but with two years left on his contract, he's not willing to sign a long-term deal with whoever trades for him. The Suns still look like the team that will be able to offer the Cavs the most enticing trade package for Irving, but their unwillingness to include Josh Jackson in any deal for Uncle Drew has been a stumbling block in trade talks thus far.

This is a bad look for Kyrie

  8. I doubt minnesota would get rid of teague right after getting him. i think they have a solid squad.

I believe Kyrie is mad lebron might stay. If lebron stays, kyrie can't be the face of the team. Kyrie wants to be a westbrook type player.

Little does he know, it takes a whole squad to achieve greatness. James Harden and Russell didn't get into the finals for a reason last year.

In the NBA you have to get the money to lineup swapping Teague makes sense in terms of salary and team composition. Irving is better than Teague but the team who has the guy who wants out rarely gets equal value.

  9. What would you want in a trade for him?

He says he would go to Minnesota....then how about getting Wiggins back for him? Plus maybe a draft pick.

I am of the opinion that is they do trade him they should trade him to a team in the Western Conf. Why give him to teams that are in closer competition. Ergo, the Minnesota thing, to me, could be the best move. The T-wolves will not give you Carl Anthony Townes...but Wiggins could fit the bill. A good wing player, a good scorer, a good defender...and young.

Don't think the Wolves would offer Wiggins and keep Teague on the roster. I'd bet they'd be offering Teague and a pick.

  10. i think it is all on Kyrie who is showing himself to be selfish and stupid. Any team with Kyrie as the "Alpha Dog"...as good as he is, would still be lucky to make .500....or even make the playoffs. (We had him here for 3 years without LeBron..and where were we?). Any team with LeBron is a championship contender.

No one can win by themselves....but LeBron comes as close as anyone who has played to doing that. Kyrie can't.

The old "he would rather be the big fish in the little pond" scenario for Kyrie I guess.

Lebron on the Nets doesn't make them a Champion contender and Kyrie would be the "Alpha Dog" on Detroit and they would be an immediate playoff contender.
