  1. I mean, it's not encouragement if what the conspiracy "theorists" worried would happen actually happens, I'd say. Remember back in early 2020 when people were being pilloried by the MSM for predicting that the government would soon be coming out with vaccine mandates and vaccine passports?
  2. CDC COVID Tracker - current through 23DEC21 This is the vaccination data from the CDC website, broken down by age and race. If you look at the data, white individuals over the age of 50 are the demographic who have the highest vaccination rates in the country, overall. This demographic also tends to be the most politically conservative group in the nation. If you go by the CDC's data, there really isn't much of a statistical difference between political leanings and vaccination compliance.
  3. Yahoo News: A Swedish company has created a microchip that allows users to carry their COVID vaccine passport under their skin
  4. Kudos to the Baby Boomers. Your generation has almost single-handedly bankrupted the strongest economy in human history. Truly worthy of the history books of the future.
  5. With very, very few exceptions (ie. Vontaze Burfict), it's never a good look to celebrate an opposing player getting injured. If those were our fans cheering Jackson getting hurt, fuck them.
  6. The person currently holding the gun has the responsibility to make sure that the gun is in a safe state; ie. ensuring it's unloaded and/or not pointing it at someone. That's firearm safety 101 and it's the first thing you learn in CCW training and firearms training in the military/police academy.
  7. New Mexico Statutes Chapter 30 - Criminal Offenses Article 2 - Homicide Section 30-2-3 - Manslaughter 30-2-3. Manslaughter. Manslaughter is the unlawful killing of a human being without malice. A. Voluntary manslaughter consists of manslaughter committed upon a sudden quarrel or in the heat of passion. Whoever commits voluntary manslaughter is guilty of a third degree felony resulting in the death of a human being. B. Involuntary manslaughter consists of manslaughter committed in the commission of an unlawful act not amounting to felony, or in the commission of a lawful act which might produce death in an unlawful manner or without due caution and circumspection.
  8. Because he's the last one who's holding the gun in his hand and who's pointing it at someone?
  9. I think Russia is going to take Ukraine uncontested, because the leadership in the EU and the US don't have the spines to stop them
  10. Today's AFCN games were the best possible outcome for the Browns. We're only 2 games behind Baltimore for the AFCN lead, and with Cincinnati losing, we made up ground on the Bengals. Gotta probably win out the rest of the season to have a shot at the playoffs, though.
  11. It's like watching the Matrix, except that it's Greg Little copying himself onto our WRs and TEs. Fuckin' Stone Hand Army.
  12. Agreed. I'd prefer either Ron DeSantis or Tulsi Gabbard. They're on opposite sides of the political spectrum, but they share alot of common ideas.
  13. Masks are required at my job, but outside that and going to places that require them, I don't wear them. I've had COVID and have had two doses of the vaccine on top of that, so I just follow basic hygiene and let my immune system do it's thing. I also don't give other people shit for choosing to wear them, as some groups of people are more susceptible to having worse symptoms than others, but I'm not going to live my life in fear.
  14. Probably not the best idea, but some psychedelics are kind of "choose your own adventure". I helped my neighbors carry down a dryer from their 3rd floor apartment while I was peaking on acid once.
  15. Meh. People have the right to peacefully assemble and protest. Once an individual escalates beyond that, then they no longer have that right.
  16. Hard to blame the quality of the apples that fall from the tree when the tree is rotten to begin with. GenX and millennials are their parent's children.
  17. One could argue that sentiment is the reason why our federal deficit is as huge as it is and continues to grow. Why should the Boomer's care how big the deficit gets if they're going to be dead before the bill comes due? After all, they won't be around to pay for the continued kicking of the can down the road; let their children's and grandchildren's generation deal with the results of the Boomer's poor fiscal decision.
  18. I don't know about all this inflation business, but my stocks in Soylent Green have been pretty steady for awhile.
  19. Daily Wire: Republican Congressman Paul Gosar Censured Over Anime Video This is one where I actually agree with the Democrats. This behaviour is unacceptable for a sitting member of Congress, regardless of party.
  20. Absolutely. This shouldn't be a left-right issue, although that's unfortunately not a possibility right now.
  21. The Constitution guarantees the right to peacefully assemble. Regardless of whether or not I agree with the message of the protest, as long as the protesters are peacefully assembled, then I have no right to impede their right to free speech. BLM/Antifa/Jan6 protesters are no different under the law as long as they are peacefully demonstrating. Once you cross the line into rioting or looting, then the 1st amendment protection doesn't apply. Jan 6 rioters who broke into the capitol building and looted/vandalized public property are no different under the law than BLM/Antifa protesters who vandalized and destroyed public property in Kenosha, Seattle, Portland, etc. In this case, "QAnonShaman" should be held liable for breaking into the Capitol and the House chambers, and those who damaged public property in the building should be charged as well.
  22. All he accomplished was Liu Kang bicycle-kicking himself into his next incarnation.
