  1. Damn dude didn’t even let me edit my post. Talk about a snappy response. I’m not sure if you were watching our secondary fall apart. Ward got mossed(by Sutton); Whitehead and Greedy combined to bounce off their tight end(Noah Fant)and let him run for 60 yards. Our defense is bad. Myles Garrett is very good.
  2. He is the reason that 3rd string QBs like DUCK do not look like Aaron Rodgers against us. He is the most dominant player on the defense, if not team.
  3. Why did we disrespect Joe Haden? We could’ve had Joe and Ward? Or am I missing something.. we released him due to a 4 million dollar paycut that he didn’t want to take....
  4. This is actually 100% accurate. Rookie coach who’s going through growing pains. Weapons with shaky O-Line, young QB and lack of scheme can cause some turbulence. As we are seeing. edit: this defense is pretty bad, and I don’t like this scheme because it relies on certain players to be healthy to work. Not a fan.
  5. Ok so if Dorsey could predict that Vernon would get hurt and be injured when we needed him, I’m sure he doesn’t make the trade.
  6. They could’ve figured out a way to get Odell more then 3 catches for 29 yards. The offense is atrocious. I’m not sure how much I wanna blame the line and Baker. No rhyme or reason on screens, PA, 2 minute hurry up, etc. The defense was going for the strip in a one possession game, giving up huge amounts of YAC. This team is poorly coached. Maybe that’s why Dorsey gave Kitchens the job. We’re still “1 year away”
  7. TJ Carrie had the worst one, where he appeared to be in a good position to intercept it and completely panicked. These corners were simply not used to that type of pressure. The Ward call should’ve been called interference on offense too, as the receiver pushed extended his arm to push Ward, and been a replay 3rd and 7, at the least.
  8. The ball was technically dead once he downed it the first time before he slid into the end zone and made contact a second time. Therefore a great play. How about that lack of intentional grounding before your FG attempt? Duck threw it away off his back foot inside the tackle box. No call. How about that BS pass interference on 3rd and 7 that helped you score that TD to tie the game at 10-10? “G.A.P” plays, or game altering plays. Y’all got some help.
  9. Sad post. Bad energy. We all knew what losing Myles meant, man. That hurt this team but we got played, Myles got played. Baker isn’t there yet, offensive line isn’t, offensive playcalling isn’t, D-Line was out of its 2 best pass rushers, youth everywhere, etc.
  10. With Myles in, that QB would look NOWHERE CLOSE to what he did today. Flip the script: Baker would’ve balled out and the play calling wouldn’t have been so scary if TJ Watt was out for the Steelers.
  11. They wasted about 5 seconds before calling the last timeout. Could’ve been about 27 seconds. Why actually throw a bomb to OBJ instead of something like a deep comeback to Odell near the sidelines where it’s likely 1on1 coverage, and the clock can be stopped? Could’ve had the mindset to go for 3. Decided to bomb it into double coverage. Nice arm though, Baker.
  12. You saw Vernon out there giving it a go when he could hardly run. He’s injured, man. If he was out there, healthy, with Garrett, we would not be having this discussion. Murray is injured, too and would’ve played better than that abysmal secondary play today. You can’t argue that. And go figure, one of the more talented DBs, if not THE most talented, was benched. For coach knows why.
  13. I still plan on watching and enjoying the remainder of this season. As tough as that may seem. Expectations lead to disappointment, as Browns fans, we all understand this.
  14. And they don’t have OBJ, Jarvis, hell even D.Harris. And it’s not even shots. It’s regular pass plays from the shotgun: the 2 minute offense. A comeback route to Odell. Followed by another easy flat pass to Chubb. Why did it take until losing 10 to run such simple and easy concepts?
  15. It’s difficult to get your QB in a true rhythm when you’re calling a bunch of conservative stuff with a minuscule lead instead of giving him continuous reps against a TOUGH defense. It also tells your QB that you don’t trust him to make plays. AKA play-called not to lose. Screens and runs after we went down 7. Not until we were down 10 did the play-caller say: “F it! Let’s see what you’ve got, Baker” And sure enough the offense started to move. You don’t draft a QB #1 overall to protect him with the season on the line in a MUST WIN game. This game hurt Baker, Odell, Jarvis and the whole organization. We didn’t adjust to the fact that we lost our best player: Myles Garrett.
  16. 2 steps isn’t enough it’s gotta be 3 in most cases Great pooch punt but looks like it maybe overturned, was the ball not dead?
  17. Played not to lose and losing. The game ain’t over folks. Ya’ll realize that Pittsburgh is manhandling us in the trenches. On both sides.
  18. Overly conservative playcalling with no rhyme or reason. Not setting anything up. Screen, dumb holding; and then try and attack downfield when it’s 2nd and 20. Bad strategy.
  19. The Myles Garrett effect. Gotta find a win to pull this one out. BS pass interference call with hand fighting on 3rd and 7 set up Pittsburgh to score instead of kicking a FG.
  20. How can you say that about players who are injured and in their first year in a new scheme? Murray has made nice plays and so has Vernon. Also I wouldn’t call D.Randall a bad trade, we got him for some peanuts, basically.
  21. The biggest division game for Cleveland in many years. We have not been this close since 2007. Time to go “1-0” again and end the drought in Pittsburgh. LET’S GOOOO!
