  1. You mean the analytics guy that everyone in the front office was ignoring until the team continued to be dysfunctional?
  2. I don’t think it’s official. NFL.com says “Browns planning to hire” and ESPN is reporting it as breaking news.
  3. QB guru, “leader of men” Quote from one of his players: Kevin’s a guy … who has been around a lot of offenses,” tight end Kyle Rudolph said. “He’s a guy who knows what works and what doesn’t work, and I think it’s been good over these last two days, trying to get back to things that we did early in the year that made us successful.” He also seems like a humble coach: “The staff we have now, I have truly learned something from those guys every day,” Stefanski continued. “I have a ton of great influencers that have shaped me into who I am today, and I hope to be the coach that they’ve — I’ve learned from them, and Pat is certainly one of those guys I learned from.” https://www.vikings.com/news/kevin-stefanski-s-philosophical-influences
  4. Just sharing. Whoever it is, I’m sure will be an upgrade over the last 2 hires
  5. According to a report, Daboll is being considered after a “strong”interview.
  6. It was looking like Seahawks Vs Ravens around week 12. I’ll stick with that now lol
  7. Assuming that Randall doesn’t resign, I can’t imagine forking out too much capital on safeties. The interior defensive line seemed outworked and in need of some depth. We need 1 or 2 new OTs, probably another ILB as well. Only 7 draft picks this year. I could see signing a safety(Devin McCourty?) and drafting one in the later rounds. It would bring invaluable experience to the defense. I wouldn’t write off Redwine, he wasn’t bad for a rookie 4th rounder.
  8. The offensive line is #1 priority. Followed by defensive line, and then safety. Redwine may be a starter next year, but next to who? For the offensive line, I would imagine an upgrade at the LT position and have a strong competition for the RT spot.. also maybe use refs that throw flags in training camp?
  9. Good news: no need to rush the process as the Browns are the only team with a HC vacancy.
  10. That would be on Kitchens relying on “plays, not players” and we had 4 capable skill players. Landry, OBJ, Hunt, Chubb. You’re bringing up a different issue. I personally can’t stand any type of offensive trick play that has the potential to derail a drive and force a punt. Hue/Haley ran those plays, and so did Kitchens(ex. Kareem Hunt HB toss pass on 3rd and short)
  11. Both. They both called those types of plays. Trying to impose their will as a trickster play-caller, instead of letting players like Baker, Chubb and Landry do their thing.
  12. McDaniels, Meyer, or Garrett. All extremely experienced in their own unique ways. This is quite the year to find a HC. I’ll pass on Stefanski after that Todd Haley style reverse pass to halt the momentum on a playoff drive yesterday against the Saints. Vikings were driving. 1st and 10=loss of 5 yards. Drive killer.
  13. I’m surprised so many Browns fans would be against a great HC/leader who also happens to have grown up in Ashtabula.. about an hour from Cleveland. Meyer would make sense.
  14. Baker needs to learn how to smile/laugh at these fools instead of wasting energy on them
  15. Callaway was a high round talent drafted in the 4th. Not the end of world. Trading Avery for a 5th was questionable. The way Duke was traded was shady. Not having a starting caliber LT costed the team all year. Kitchens wasn’t at all ready. Some would say trading Ogbah for Eric Murray wasn’t a good deal but Murray showed he can play well in the secondary.
  16. It was either: Let Dorsey pick another HC or let him walk.. seems pretty simple here. He was not perfect. But he did draft us Baker and Chubb.
  17. I’m sure Meyer can scout talent and I’m sure Bill Belicheck has something to do with scouting in NE...
  18. Dorsey does have an eye for talent. It’s some of the questionable decisions for Dorsey to bring in “his guy” that did him in. IMO. Dumping Avery. Dumping Fells for Harris. Missing on the Corbett pick which backfired tremendously. Not having a starting caliber LT. Most importantly: He got us Baker. When most of us didn’t know who it would be:
  19. Daboll was here during a different era. With no QB, Nick Chubb, Jarvis, OBJ etc. He had Josh Allen playing at a pretty high level. 20 TDs to 9 INTs. Interesting candidate.
  20. I’ll be in Jax👍 Can’t wait. This offseason will seem longer than the last. I would imagine.
  21. Just find the next BB... somebody who knows what the F they’re doing.
  22. One does not simply stop being a Browns fan. If you figure out how, inbox me😂
  23. This is hard to watch... I feel like I shouldn’t be watching this.
