  1. Having Hollywood Higgins back would be huge. He’s a reliable target.
  2. I think this means that FO feels highly about Mack Wilson and TakiTaki as Schobert is a highly instinctive and useful player...Who will be expensive and Kirksey is still under contract.
  3. I can’t believe a dude who got caught at the border with 158 pounds of weed was protecting our franchise QB’s blindside
  4. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2878486-tristan-wirfs-breaks-nfl-combine-offensive-line-records-in-vertical-broad-jumps “Per The Athletic's Brandon Thorn, Wirfs set offensive line records with a 36.5" vertical jump and a 10'1" broad jump. He followed that up with an unofficial time of 4.86 seconds in the 40, including a 1.69-second 10-yard split. There were already high expectations for Wirfs heading into the 2020 NFL draft. He's ranked as the second-best offensive tackle and No. 16 overall prospect in this year's class by B/R's Matt Miller. “
  5. I don’t know if we have the luxury of drafting a defensive player with such a need for an LT. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a trade up a few spots
  6. Grossi made it clear he thought that the Browns should not draft Baker.. dude doesn’t know what is what
  7. Just caught the end of Woods’ presser. He seems like a high energy coach that will have the respect of this defense. I haven’t heard much of him but I already like him
  8. Wait, so you’re telling me that soliciting free BJs from attractive women is addicting?
  9. This is great. Can’t wait to see him back out there.
  10. Some of my favorites from Stuart: “Pitch, don’t kill my vibe. “ ”BARTENDER, Jack!!”
  11. I was surprised as Lynch when Shanahan decided it was a good idea to role into half with a 10-10 score. Over conservative. It all appeared well with a 20-10 lead but it wasn’t enough. Mahommes clutched up.
  12. If it’s broke.. then fix it. Hopefully the cycle is over.
  13. luckily, no possession charge. Just a speeding ticket. Not related to the other incident.. he should be fine. Be smarter, Hunt. Don’t speed with weed.
  14. “The first thing to understand about Wade Phillips 3-4 is that it is a one-gap system. The play call is made and the down-linemen attack. It is not read and react, players do not need to occupy space, read the play, then decide what to do. From the snap they are ready to attack.” ”What jumps out is the fact that while Wade runs a "system" the system is not what determines how Phillips uses his players, it's the player's skillset. This is one very understated characteristic of a good coach or teacher in my estimation--one who will get the best out of their player's by utilizing their skillset.”
  15. Man I’m actually thrilled that LSU won. Its uplifting to see OBJ and Landry happy after this disappointing season. Jarvis was literally speechless with joy.
  16. Yessir. A legend of a coach. And most players grew up watching him on TV. So I would imagine that they listen to what he has to say.
  17. I would sure hope not. Myles would likely have to convert to a pass rushing edge OLB. I think he would excel as an LB. He’s so athletic that I’d imagine he will suffice in coverage. Good read about Phillips’ defense: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.milehighreport.com/platform/amp/2015/1/27/7922019/the-wade-phillips-3-4 Wade’s defense needs ILBs that can cover(Mack Wilson and Joe Schobert) Would Kirksey oppose Garrett at OLB?
  18. For same role. Incredible.. “Should Cleveland decide to move on from Wilks despite those limitations, Phillips has more than proved his worth over the years. His experience as a defensive coordinator dates back to 1981, and he recently helped the Rams to Super Bowl LIII with the likes of back-to-back reigning Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald. Phillips also won Super Bowl 50 as the Denver Broncos defensive coordinator, and his unit featured Super Bowl MVP linebacker Von Miller. “ https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2871225-browns-rumors-wade-phillips-targeted-for-dc-after-kevin-stefanski-hire
  19. Haslam’s “poor ownership decisions” has set this roster up full of young and talented players. It is now a matter of filling in the missing pieces and having a coach that knows how to win some football games. Baker, Chubb, Landry, OBJ, Myles, Ward, etc. The future is bright. We’re just taking the scenic route with some detours on it..
  20. Yet you’re talking about realistic expectations in January. Time will tell. The team should be significantly better.
  21. I would say playoffs, or bust. We just gotta chill out with the super bowl talk and hopefully keep the team focused on a week to week basis. No distractions.
