  1. Limpy was the word. Adjective form of limp. You know...without substance, a bit weak, lame, not hard. As distinguished from limpid, which means clear or transparent. As used in a sentence: As a meal choice, smoothies are a limpy substitute for real food. As for lumpy, that may be a bit of an antonym of limpy. "This smoothie isn't smooth at all. It is lumpy with huge chunks of fruit snd kale in it"
  2. Never heard of them. Can you post something?
  3. I think we can see from the above why the Browns have put a lot of emphasis on getting better on defense, particularly pass defense.
  4. Here are a few trivia questions.....about postseason play: Answers: 1. What Quarterback completed the most passes in a single postseason game? Ben Roethlisberger, agains the Cleveland Browns Jan. 10, 2021 47 completions. And FYI....this is the MOST passes completed in any NFL game in history.....regular OR postseason. The regular season record is just 45. 2. What 3 QBs have thrown for the most yards in a single postseason game? Tom Brady 505 yards vs. the Eagles in the Super Bowl that the Pats lost to the Eagles Ben Roethlisberger. 501 yards vs. the Browns Jan. 10, 2021 Bernie Kosar 489 yards vs. the Jets in 1987 3. Who had the most rushing yards for the Cleveland Browns in a single postseason game? Ernest Byner 161 yards vs. the Dolphins on 1/4/1986 4. What 2 players are tied for having the most Rushing TDs in a single postseason game for the Browns? Marion Motley.....and Otto Graham. 3 rushing TDs each. 5. Who has the most receiving TDs in a single postseason game for the Cleveland Browns? Gary Collins 3 TD catches in the 1964 NFL Championship game vs. the Colts. By the way, 3 TD catches is the most by any Browns player ever, including regular season. 6 other players have caught 3 TDs in a game for the Browns, but never more than that.
  5. Or, like when I was in Grade school or Junior High: Play "Smear the Queer" where Jackson is The Queer. We were not particularly politically correct as 8-14 year olds in the 60s.
  6. How many new starters will the Browns have on defense this year from the team that started the Pittsburgh and KC playoff games? Only possible returners, it seems are Garrett, Ward, Takitaki, and Ronnie Harrison? If all those even?
  7. You called me ignorant for not know that fucking Dr. Oz had come under criticism from a bunch of fucktards for whatever political reason. I said I didn't know anything about that....nor did I give a rat's ass about it. What is it about: I don't give a fuck about Dr. Oz nor do I give a fuck about knowing anything about Dr. Oz. that YOU misinterpreted or misunderstood to the point that you got your panties in a bunch? I guess I could say: "How can you be so ignorant as to not know that Lasse Viren was a long distance runner for Finland in the 1972 and 1976 Olympics? So, you see...or can you understand that the importance of being ignorant about something is a matter of perspective.
  8. More like a power forward
  9. I would be a dumb ass if I cared one goddamn bit about Dr. Oz. You’re a dumb ass for being so obsessed with him. You would be better off applying your attentions to like Nikola Jokic or Lasse Viren.
  10. I had absolutely no reason to look for any info on this guy. Even by a simple google search. The only running off of the mouth that I have done was to observe that he was a shit host of Jeopardy.
  11. 28 points is the most points scored in the first quarter of any playoff game ever. But here is a question I have: Stephen A. Smith is a well known New York honk. Knicks/Yankees. Which is perfectly fine since he is from NYC. But, why in fucking hell did he become a Steelers FRAK Asshole?
  12. Remembrances of January 10, 2021: The Cleveland Browns defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 48-37 1. The betting line: Pittsburgh was favored by 5.0 points 2. The over/under for the game was 47 points. The Browns alone exceeded that figure 3. The game took 3 hours 23 minutes to play 4. Pittsburgh committed 5 turnovers, 4 Ints and 1 fumble...on the first play of the game. The Browns committed -0- turnovers. 5. The Browns had 127 rushing yards on 31 carries with 2 rushing TDs 6. The Steelers had 52 rushing yards on 16 carries with 1 TD 7. The Browns were 21/34 with 263 yards and 3 TDs and -0- Ints. passing 8. The Steelers were 47/68 with 501 yards and 4 TDs and 4 Ints. passing 9. Total yards Pitt. had 553, the Browns had 390 10. Time of possession: Pitt led 32.46 to Browns 27:14 11. Rushing: Chubb 18 carries for 76 yds.. -0- TDs. Hunt 8 carries for 48 yds. and 2 TDs. Conner had 11 carries for 37 yds. and 1 TD 12. Receiving: Hooper had 7 catches for 46 yds. Landry 5 catches for 92 , Chubb 4 catches for 69 yds. For Pitt: Smith-Shuster had 13 for 157 yds. Dionte Johnson 11/117 13. MJ Stewart and BJ Goodson for the Browns had the most tackles in the game with 10 each (I don't know that either will be on the team this year). Robert Spillane led Pitt with 9. 14. Neither QB was sacked in the game. 15. Cody Parkey was 2-2 in FG attempts. The Pitt. kicker was 1-1.
  13. I would say that this meme could apply to just about any thread that Skipping Turtles initiates.
  14. Here are a few trivia questions.....about postseason play: 1. What Quarterback completed the most passes in a single postseason game? Frank Reich No, but I believe Reich may have been involved in the biggest comeback in NFL history...which was in a postseason game. 2. What 3 QBs have thrown for the most yards in a single postseason game? Kosar, Reich, Kurt Warner. Only Kosar is correct (he had the #3 most yards) 3. Who had the most rushing yards for the Cleveland Browns in a single postseason game? Earnest Byner (vs the Dolphins I think) Check...on both (Dolphins) 4. What 2 players are tied for having the most Rushing TDs in a single postseason game for the Browns? Jim Brown, Marion Motley Yes on Motley, no on JB. JB did not score more than one TD in a postseason game (the record for the Browns is 3) 5. Who has the most receiving TDs in a single postseason game for the Cleveland Browns? Dante Lavelli NO
  15. Better yet, I don't pay attention to stupid websites or other media sources like that where you apparently get your information. Some esoteric silly entertainment website? I mean, seriously...why should I have ever given one flying fuck about Dr. Oz, so much as what a bunch of right wing Goobers or left wing Gomers think about him? So, whatever exigency exists to be cognizant of his existence lies only in your mind. The rest of us are all better off being unaware of him if he is the quack that that article implies. I just know that he was a suckass Jeopardy host.
  16. Nope, I have never seen a word of it. The complaints must have all been made in like right wing circle jerk forums or something. I honestly didn't know a thing about Dr. Oz's politics....not until you just mentioned it. I have never paid attention to the man, at all. I figured he was just a sort of Dr. Phil wannabe giving people personal advice on TV. I just know that he was not a very good Jeopardy host. I suspect Bill Whitaker came in for the same treatment from the hate machine, given that he is black and a journalist. But, never fear, he just wasn't any good either. But Anderson Cooper was good, and he is gay....and even though he IS a Republican apparently, right wingers think he is liberal; and maybe he is somewhat. Imagine that: a liberal Republican. ( I mean....he IS still a Vanderbilt). He has had a reputation as a fairly objective journalist....except perhaps when it came to Trump. But then Trump caused a lot of people to lose their objectivity. But I don't think you have to worry about him either. He has a pretty lucrative TV gig going on already. He makes more where he is than he would on Jeopardy. Rodgers? I don't really know his politics....but he did go to Cal-Berkely, if that tells us anything. And he has a pretty lucrative gig going on as well. He has a 134 million dollar contract he is working on....and I think he wants to stick it out in football which he is pretty good at and should be for a few more years. So, I think you can count him out. Richards and Jennings? No clue about their politics, nor about Buzzy Cohen (though, he dresses conservatively). The first two there are challengers. Then we still have the likes of LeVar Burton, Savannah Guthrie, Joe Buck, Sanjay Gupta, Mayim Bialik...and others. Maybe one of them will emerge.
  17. I thought OZ and Whitaker were bad. Katie Couric not good. Buzzy has been OK. Yes, Rodgers better than expected. Ken Jennings was good, but his vocals are just a bit weak. Cooper was just fine actually. Richards probably is the leader in the clubhouse. Others are to follow, so the trials are not over. Politics? has nothing at all to do with any of it...unless that is what you are obsessed with. Maybe Tucker Carlson could give it a whirl...he could be good and make himself useful at something at the same time.
  18. Again I’m on ignore but he can never ignore me. Every post he makesis about me. He could have stopped after his third sentence above. But nope like Willie Nelson said I’m always on his mind
  19. Here are a few trivia questions.....about postseason play: 1. What Quarterback completed the most passes in a single postseason game? 2. What 3 QBs have thrown for the most yards in a single postseason game? 3. Who had the most rushing yards for the Cleveland Browns in a single postseason game? 4. What 2 players are tied for having the most Rushing TDs in a single postseason game for the Browns? 5. Who has the most receiving TDs in a single postseason game for the Cleveland Browns?
  20. Maybe we should have a league that consists only of QBs. QBs throw, run, catch, block, and tackle. Then they can all be paid the same.
  21. Forgot? A better question is: What is there worth remembering?
  22. Well, juice and smoothies are pretty limpy for me to go out of my way for. So it may be less than 3 people that would stop.
