  1. My brother in law and you would get along well Lol. He once told me that if a cow walked through the water he wouldn't even eat that.
  2. So here's a new thing I decided to add to my ongoing grilling and smoker obsession. These are sugar free bread and butter pickles made from scratch and they are the bomb!! Did a gallon or so to start with. So big a hit I am already working up another two gallons of them. Making a version with horseradish in them as well. Also have about 3 gallons of cold pack half sour garlic dills that will be ready Thursday.
  3. We often stuff zucchini boats like this and grill them. So many different combos you can stuff with. These look great. My wife and I are 6 months into keto so these are a primo recipe for us.
  4. Mayfield is the obvious answer.
  5. Sausage sloppy joes sound good and I'd damn sure try the squirrel if someone cleaned one and gave it to me.
  6. As of today my favorite gameday food to serve at home going forward is smoked pork belly!! I don't know how this hid from me so long. I did 11 lbs. today rubbed up with my super secret rub and slow smoked 8 hours with a mix of hickory and apple wood. DAMN cubed and served up with BBQ for dip and a side of slaw its the bomb.
  7. Sashi was the right guy for the purpose he served. That was shrewdly stripping to barebones and acquiring massive draft capital. It was the right move to fire him and bring in the guy who could use that capital wisely.
  8. I bet that long in pineapple they were fall apart tender faster. I make a teriyaki marinade with pineapple juice base and it really tenderizes.
  9. Used my MES40 electric and also my big green egg. I love smoking and grilling meat. Really turning into a passion. Did 5 racks of spare ribs last weekend.
  10. I just smoked and pulled 30 lbs. of pork!! Its pretty damn hard to beat a plate of my pulled pork with some slaw. I would put it up against any pitmaster out there.
  11. Based on his interviews I've seen it will be at least 2022 before he learns the playbook. The number one reasons he slid as far as he did isn't because of his physical skills but rather concern on his overall IQ.
  12. He certainly seems likeable. His intelligence concerns however go well beyond his Wonderlic score.
  13. Never heard of it. Sure gets good reviews though, sort of a higher quality White Castle?
  14. A McDouble w/ cheese is literally the perfect road sandwich and quite delicious to me.
  15. Jalapeños really vary in hotness. Different strains go from damn near mild to pretty hot. Once you deseed and cook they lose quite a bit of the fire. When I make these even the people who aren't chili heads devour them. Sometimes I stuff the pepper with sausage and cheese and then bacon wrap.
  16. It's almost time to start planning the Draft Day food extravaganza. I'm thinking mine will revolved around some apple jalepeno BBQ applewood smoked ribs and atomic Buffalo turds
  17. It was good but would not put it at top of my list. Pretty basic on flavor and vinegary. My wife made an Italian beef last year that was the bomb. Trying to find that recipe. It had peppers, dry Italian dressing, Worcester garli onions etc.
  18. Love lists like this. I live about 30 minutes north of Mansfield and go there every weekend for groceries. I will have to try both of those listed.
  19. Mjp28 we are making that Lee Drummond drip beef tomorrow. It's the bomb.
  20. I love Skyline chili dogs with hot shredded cheese onion and mustard. Wife HATES it. Tony Packos is ok but I wouldn't go out of my way to go there
  21. Great weather for sure. I think I am going to fire up my smoker and do 6 racks of BBQ ribs!
