  1. And the Ravens picked up the Big Man from Tenn in the off season. The Derrick Henry acquisition along with their running QB can prove to be a real difference maker for them.
  2. Best available day 2 from Danial Jeremiah. https://www.chargers.com/news/best-available-players-day-2-nfl-draft And from elsewhere his 1st rounders still there: Jeremiah had DeJean as the No. 24 overall player, so landing in the second round won't be a complete shock. The same goes for Newton (No. 25), Mitchell (No. 27), Alabama cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry (No. 28), Texas A&M linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (No. 29) and Georgia wide receiver Ladd McConkey (No. 30).
  3. Well if he is still there in the 3rd, we should probably take him. But I was having so much fun this year with Smith and Cooper, I didn't bother with Robinson or DT McKinnley Jackson, both of whom I see as 4th or 5th rounders. But I'm calling it right now for next year in the 1st. Keep a strong watch on A&M's portal transfer from Purdue, 6-4, 280 Jr Edge rusher Nic Scourton who led the Big 10 in sacs last year. He was the real standout in the Spring Game with a defensive minded head coach to utilize him to the fullest this coming year. I think he will play well enough to come out early to be a 1st rounder. Team him up with Myles and here we go. I will give some feedback during the year, but from what I saw he looks to be the best A&M Edge since Myles.
  4. Well Carolina took the Xavier I liked a lot from SC. Wish he had still been there at 54.
  5. And KC just got their replacement for pure speed WR after #10 left in 2022 for Miami.
  6. Well I felt this way in 2017 when we got #95 1st overall. Not so much today with zero picks until tomorrow night. 🥲
  7. I take it as a tip of the hat from each of the players. Well done Amigos.👍
  8. So we trade away an OL and then we drop one in favor of a DE. Any bets on which OL we take 1st in the draft? I'm having to revise my DL take back to the inevitable OL, unless of course it's Ainias Smith.😘
  9. No good place to put this, but I thought it would be worth posting since it's baseball. Baseball Conventional Wisdom at all levels tells you that you should never, ever under any circumstance intentionally put the winning run on base in the bottom of the 9th playing away from home in a tie game. However, with one away and the guy at the plate having already had two prior HRs in the game, that conventional wisdom should be thrown out with a little common sense. Do not throw to a hot hitter. Otherwise........................................well this can happen. The Aggies have a great chant that would have applied here last night, "Walking's cheaper (clap clap........clap, clap, clap, repeat, etc.). https://youtu.be/3B2rv7Aze1g?si=QDHPxnzbnCsiYriU&t=132
  10. Now where is cal to defend this guy? After all we had videos of a drunk Baker Mayfield with cops before we drafted him.
  11. Well I know you always love OLs and you know I say DL because Defense wins championships. LOL! Be funny if we got one of each those 1st two picks.
  12. Oh, come on now. JFF would be happy to pick him up and drive him to Cleveland. Kerrville is just a little ways away from Asstin ya know.🍻
  13. I like your pick but my bet is on the DL first. All depends on who is there, so no real pick other than positional for me.
  14. My brother is here and has a T-shirt with both dates on it now from the 2017 drive up into Wyoming. We had a very clear break in the clouds from about 10 minutes before till 10 minutes after the total eclipse. I had seen the one in N.C. in 1970, so this was the second for wife and me as well. This one was far better with the NASA approved glasses which we could remove when it was in total eclipse. Had a red streak like a minute hand from the middle to 6 o'clock on the moon. It was awesome for just over 3 minutes in our back area clearing. Had our married Iraq/Afganistan veteran neighbors over for lunch before, during and after. I had to sit isolated outdoors due to current Covid 19 (which I am now recovering from thank goodness).
  15. He's out for the year while the last player to make the Astros' team is a 30 y.o. with only 8 ML starts who throws a no hitter last week. Baseball is truly a strange game sometimes.
  16. Clark is the 3 point maker from Steph Curry range. Fun to watch her just throw them in or make pinpoint passes if over covered.
  17. "As old and evil as he is, though, Gorka has grown arrogant and reckless, high on his own power: the classic prelude to the downfall of the great." https://moviecomicswhoswho.wordpress.com/2022/09/30/gorka/ Leave Gorka the Great FY56 alone dutch.🤫
