  1. I think OBJ was a pipe dream... and an even bigger one at that... at one point. So don't give up hope...
  2. Five prime times games... from famine to feast. Don't like the early BYE. One name... two words... four syllables... Kyler Murray.
  3. lol.... and the next pats star RB is born... Although I would not be shocked if he were to see a lot of WR duty as well. Kinda the reverse Cordarelle Patterson...
  4. I could use a good 420 kick...
  5. Terry's take on the whole Cowherd-Whitlock-Bayless (yes, him, too) view controversey... Plus a word to "overly optomisitic fans"... https://www.cleveland.com/browns/2019/04/how-odell-beckham-brings-the-lebron-james-effect-to-the-browns-terry-pluto.html
  6. Agree... can't see JAX parting with Ramsay... ... and a Duke for Fournette offer might end up putting the JAX GM in the hospital. "If a trade offer still has you laughing after 4 hours, then seek immediate medical attention."
  7. The difference of course being that "Newbie new-car smell"... I'm surprised we haven't seen an even greater influx as the bandwagon gains speed. It will be interesting to see if our retention rate exceeds that of the JFF era... I believe the tally was "1"... right, Ag?
  8. AS mentioned elsewhere Jets-Browns makes sense from the historical perspective of having been the first MNF broadcast.... And this will be the 50th anniversary(ish) of that broadcast... not the exact date, but 1970 to 2019 is 50 seasons. That said is just having the game in the Meadowlands to bring out the devil in OBJ???
  9. Yup... when the incompetent lead the less talented the results simply aren't going to be good. And while Hue could be inline for a modicum of residual respect as well, his backstabbing, wheedling ways erase any possibility of that... and then some. Your faux toughmindedness is duly noted.
  10. Most of these "castoffs" busted their ass thru 16 games of the worst season in our history. They weren't losers... they were just part of an organization that plotted a path thru losing. They never quit. If that can't earn them an ounce of respect from you, then that's on you.
  11. Yup... and the word that comes to mind is "courtesy"... Granted tho the concept is a bit of an anachronism these days in the states...
  12. Must explain the pace we've fallen to... Cool development tho...
  13. No idea... but I suspect not as his release coincided with players reporting for off-season workouts which are preceded by a physical. So he likely was failed for same reason(s) he's not seen the field in two years and we parted ways.
  14. Burgess (LB) cut last Oct. landed in Miami... $645,000 which I think is league min...
  15. Collins, Wilson and Daniel Williams???? (WR) still looking for teams.
  16. Fells... HOU... One-year $1,500,000 if he is rostered June 1... $100,000 guaranteed til then.
  17. Vallejo... AZ.... two-year $1,380,000
  18. Kindred now in Indy... one-year, $2,025,000.
  19. It could happen... He'll get an hour to show for his, but I really don't want to lose another GM.
  20. Here's a useful link for navigating your way thru the final 4 rounds. Click on your teams' logo at the top and a list of remaining picks is generated. http://www.espn.com/nfl/draft/teams/_/name/cle/cleveland-browns
  21. Mods... Links to this and other Rounds' threads are now in each OP so you may cast this thread adrift now.
  22. And thus ends our Day 2.... Some stats for the "day": 70 players taken. 32 Offensive players selected; 38 Defensive... so the Offense closed the Round 1 gap a little, but still has a ways to go. On the O-side: Day 2 saw the same number of QBs tabbed as Day 1... 3. Only 3 RBs have been taken... all in Day 2. An even dozen WRs were selected... a big jump over the 2 taken in Round 1... while only 3 more TEs joined the 2 taken in Round 1. Only 10 OL were taken over the two-round Day 2... behind the pace set Round 1 when 7 were taken. On the D-side: The same number of DTs were taken over the two rounds as were in Round 1 indicating the position is more elite than deep. Conversely the number of DEs taken doubled from 5 to 10 with 8 of the 10 plucked in Round 3. LB selections rose from 3 to 7 with most in both rounds playing inside. CBs taken tripled from 3 to 9. Seven Safeties were taken Day 2 after only one was deemed worthy of a 1st.
  23. Lists updated... Nero, wrap this round...
