I came back just to say that this is why I never get excited after 1 good season, in 2007 we went 10-6 here comes 2008 we won 3 or 4 games 2018 was ok as we came of a 0-16 season we improved a tad, 2019 although we won a couple we still didn't do as well as should have, 2020 made the playoffs did well won 11 games and a playoff win now this season? We are back at square 1, Baker, pack your bags you were trying top show why you deserve a contract you should show why you deserve to even be playing. OBJ you had 1 good game since you came here, Ward always hurt Greedy always hurt, The coach will be gone at the end of the season  as we will not win another game, we looked fucking awful today and we have harder teams ahead, Only half way decent player we have is Chubb since hunt is hurt, Trade OBJ Landry DPJ and Higgins as none of them has done shit this season . Fuck it clean house now and start prepping for the draft. Bunch of over paid weenies

they ain't firing the coach this yr....if they continue to play the way they have been playing....and i don't want to hear excuses about injuries, because all teams have them...so stop fucking whinning about that everyone, he probably will be fired maybe 2-3 yrs from now....but its to early for that....for now...obj's 1 good game was against the cow boys who my 1970 high school football team probably would score on.....obj....blechlkkkkikkkkkkkkkk....puke....

The OLine was mediocre today too, and our QB is limited.

All the ingredients for a very undynamic offense the rest of the season.

I'll put it on record - this team's playoff chances are done. This team is so banged up. Neither side is good enough to overcome the other side.

I won't be shocked if this team finishes below .500 at 8-9.

i'd put a bet that they finish below 500.......starting to think that maybe they should let baker get that surgery now instead of the end of the season....let keenum finish out what now appears to be a below mediocre season....oh well....this is to be expected with cleveland browns football...

A cause and affect statement.  Just win baby!

Some teams run with the pass...little 4 yard passes.  We run with the run.  And that's fine....as long as we can pass when we have to pass.  And we 'should' be able to pass with OBJ, Landry, Hooper, Njoku, Schwartz, Felton and Higgins on the team.  (key word being 'should')

doesn't seem like that is happening....

Um OK- Stefanski wins Coach of the Year... And since we're not 6-1 or 7-0, all of a sudden he sucks. Yeah right. Some folks are never going to be happy.

the steelers put a hurtin on our ol....they stuffed the run.....and we don't have really good receivers as the stats will tell you that.....we have wideouts that fumble the ball...landry.....we have wideouts that are slow....higgins.....what happened to schwartz....oh yeah...and good ole odelli  belchham....a good ole typical day for him...1 catch for 5 yds...oh wait...we only acquired him to stretch the field as per some board members say.....how's that workin out......yeah....we need him on he field to strech out the d......hmmmmm....and the d....do we have any interceptions this yr....by anyone....i guess its a race to the finish line with td receptions by our wr's and int's by our d...for last place....aye yi yi....

I wish the coach would take note and understand that 3 points is better than no points. How many times did we go for it on 4th down deep inside the Opp territory only to get sacked?  How many times? It is more than a few. This is not the game to be doing any of that kind of shit here and no "cute" end around plays either but also have we even thrown any deep passes this season? This is week 8 and we have a total of 3 td passes to wr, (not counting TE or RB. We need to step up our game or we wont even sniff the post season.

    playoffs.....playoffs.....what.....playoffs......

i think the clowns are in an alternate universe.....what a shitasss performance today........they got the shit beat out of them by the stoolers....particularly on the ol....score was close but it was no indication as to what took place on the field today.....hey how bout odelli beckham....another odelli typical day....1 catch for 5 yds.....pfffffffft heheheheeee....

Love him or hate him, OBJ is here for the rest of the season. No team is going to want to pick up the rest of his salary.

he is fucking garbage.......and you are right....no one wants this guy.....just cut him......take the loss on the money....make room for a possible wr in next yrs draft....there has to be another calvin ridley out there somewhere........

Hopefully we get the Minnesota NFC championship level Keenum tomorrow

its not only keenum....we have no rb's....our defense sucks....i see denver ball control most of the game.....glad my favorite tv show is on....big sky....me thinks i'll be subjected to watching it rather than this game.....don't look good for baker this yr......what a shit season....only 6 games into the season....

IF they get Chubb back and the OL line together, they could still make a run; the rest of schedule is pretty dang soft (other than having to play Balt. twice).

what.....your are saying greenbay, cinci twice, the pats in foxboro....and with our d, you are saying the steelers are soft......with our d, we may not win another game...i don't care if we play georgia.....

Koufax blew out his arm and retired at 30, because of the workload he pulled off in the 60s.

hard to believe since he had drysdale...sutton and someone else that i can't remember...was it johnny podres....i think he was a relief pitcher...help me out.....sutton did  not blow his arm out and either did drysdale.....drysdale played 14 seasons with the dodgers...that i know...thats a long time....for that era....koufax pitched 12 seasons which is also a long time for that era...they did not have the technology back then or upgraded rehab either....keep that in mind....

You'd probably want him out there if he had a broken arm.  :)  DON'T try and minimize it Z. It's a significant injury that will take 4-6 weeks to heal after off season surgery, and another 6 weeks of rehab to be back to normal.

If it was his throwing shoulder- he'd be done for the year.

he will end up like rg3 if he does not watch himself and let his ego get in the way.....best to sit out the rest of the season  for his own good whether he is in cleve next yr or not....shoulder injury took its toll on poor ole bernie....derrick thomas ended his career.......

QBR is garbage, we've been through this.

One arm? Then Keenum should play, I suggested as much when he injured his shoulder.   Remember we had this chat last week and you said "He'll defeat his injury like his opponent".    Defeat, Z...  like having half your arm being useless is somehow the colonists beating the British.       You won't find me arguing about the rest of the personnel, but Bakers decision making, when given the opportunity to make a smart play or a play that wouldn't hurt the team, was incredibly subpar.   So while his left arm might be bad, his mind shouldn't be.

You also said "he'll earn your respect back".   Baker never didn't have my respect, but you take my observations as overly critical as opposed to what they are - in depth offerings.

Bakers average depth of target is slowly decreasing, it started happening before his injury.  The line play hasn't been great, but Baker hasn't been good enough to compensate either.  This team is in a funky combination of issues with health and quality of play.    I don't see any one player being the sole cause, but the largest microscope will always be put on the guy that always has the ball in his hands.

    well put......

Eh, seeing the AFC north just makes me feel a certain way. Mainly it’s just that on top of all the losing of course the browns play in arguably the most consistent division in the NFL. You look at the bills, only game ahead, having a 99% chance of making the playoffs. life ain’t fair it just blows.

we have just been leapfrogged by the  bengals....burrow is the real deal, they need one more good draft and they are going to be the talk of the nfl next yr....only they will back it up....not like this piece of shit we have.....

Sadly, it won’t be the last

probably not........can't blame the injuries.....other teams have them to....the cards had one of the best pass rushers out and several other players also....the ravens are ravaged also, yet they look like sb contenders.....and the browns.....bleckkkkkkkkkkkk.....need to call stephen king and get his opinion, since he writes the best horror novels...

You'll be happy to know the majority 60% of the WKNR poll agrees with you. With the Thursday night game and the mini-bye, it's obvious what the Browns should do. That shoulder is never going to be "right" for the rest of the season.  Off season surgery is almost a foregone conclusion.

We can beat Denver with Keenum behind center- IF Chubb and Landry are healed up enough to play.

don't think chubb is playing....keenum will probably end up playing and he may be carted off the field by time the game is over...denver probably wins this one and puts the browns out of its misery....hey, this is cleveland  browns football...don't you know this by now......whatever can go wrong, will go wrong...

Baker SUCKS.  Time to get a real QB before our SB windows closes for good.  DO not pay him what he thinks he's worth.  Meanwhile, Stefanieowski better start calling better plays and fire Joe Woods.  Follow my advice and we win multiple Super Bowls.

fucking joe woods......now you got my blood pressure on the rise......thanks for that....but it is true....the guy sucks at his job...

really ? with only 5 games in how did you come to that conclusion  ?

eh.....watcha think now.....i don't like it as much as you do but crap.......its going down the shitter.....this ain't good....we still play the ratbirds twice, the packers the bengals twice the pats in foxboro and colonol potter is looking up at the sky with another helicopter of more wounded folks arriving....shit...

Yep, if your line isn't giving you time, you have to make quicker decisions. So we just can stop using "he's hurt" as an excuse. If the "hurt" is effecting his play that much- sit him.

Baker hasn't been right for weeks, and could it be our "Coach of the Year" has been figured out?

i do know our coach of the defense has been figured out.....reason....just about everyone on this board was complaining about the injjury bug.when the d was not playing well...especially llast yr...well this yr we had the players back and they still suck....also, the money spent and the draft were supposed to make this team the missing part that was going to make us a sb contender...phwaaaaat...yeah right....so to me it comes down to the coach and his crew.....they suck big time....i cannot put this totally on the offense alone...
