If you worked for a company that was in crisis, would you refuse to have serious doubts about your CEO if he repeatedly suggested silly shit or half ideas in front of everyone during staff meetings?

The guy has people fully qualified to explain things but his ego can’t let him just shut up and let them handle that part of it. In times of crisis like this, the President is meant more to be a cheerleader than some webmd expert babbling on the mic.

Trump has the experts with him on the platform and turns the microphone over to them many many times. Even if his role is being a cheer leader he gets criticized for that too. The fact is he is going to get criticized (and many times hypocritically) from those on the left who hate him for anything he says or does just because he is the one saying and doing it.

French Doctor Didier Raoult Cites ‘Scientific Misconduct’ in Recent VA Study on Hydroxychloroquine; Two Major Flaws

Scientific misconduct with the VA study...say it aint so. I saw first hand of their incompetence with my own experience of being hospitalized at a VA hospital and the criminal negligence my brother got at the VA hospital. This has been 10 years ago maybe they have improved I don't know. I know under Trump that incompetent hacks working at the VA can now be fired. The dentist who worked on my brother at the VA who was caught using the same dirty utensils on each of his patients never faced any consequences. The VA just sent letters out to his patients like my brother they needed to be tested for HIV, hepatitis etc. That is but one of many bad stories I know first hand about with the VA healthcare.

  3. The 24/7 coverage of the coronavirus has frightened much of the public. I am a news junkie and I only watch a fraction of the news today because of being burned out with the non stop coverage. I don't minimize the virus as it is more contagious and deadly than normal flu. I keep my hands clean and away from my face and spacing when possible and other common sense measures but other than that I try to live my life without fear of the virus just a healthy respect of the danger of the virus which we have no vaccine for at this time.

I know so many people who are panic stricken about the virus and feed on all the virus coverage on the news. For many people it will not be easy to turn the fear switch off.

I disagree with those seemingly minimizing the virus as a reason we should re-open the country back up. I have no doubt this is a nasty contagious virus that China has gifted the world. I think the reason we need to open the country back up is because we have no other choice or the cure will be worse than the virus but we need to keep our guard up as we open back the country.

Michigan Democrats censure state representative for thanking Trump

A group called the 13th Congressional District Democratic Party Organization will consider censuring Whitsett when it meets Saturday, The Detroit News reported.

Whitsett is not the only Democrat to face repercussions for positive comments about Trump.

Also in Thursday, a state-level Democratic lawmaker in Georgia reversed a decision to resign after facing pressure from other Democrats for saying he supported the president.

State Rep. Vernon Jones of Lithonia said he was convinced to remain in office after receiving an outpouring of support following his initial plan to step down.

CLICK HERE FOR COMPLETE CORONAVIRUS COVERAGE

“I will not allow the Democrats to bully me into submission,” Jones said. “I will not let them win. I will NOT resign.”

Last December, New Jersey Democratic Rep. Jeff Van Drew announced he was switching to the GOP after deciding that his fellow Democrats’ arguments for Trump’s impeachment were “weak” and “thin.”

Insane hatred of Trump. This democrat woman on the verge of death says she was saved by hydroxychloroquine and only knew about it because of Trump speaking of it at one of his pressers. Now she is just happy to be alive and wants others to know this potentially life saving drug is available and is thankful to Trump for speaking about it. Apparently that is a bridge too far for the haters of Trump in her democrat party and she is facing censure about it.

One of the worst things about the crisis we are in right now is those with TDS cannot put their hated of Trump aside just for a short time while we all fight this invisible enemy but instead snipe at and criticize every action Trump takes.  These haters are so obsessed they seemingly don't care if the country fails as long as Trump fails.

  5. There are two sides to this argument and both sides are right. This virus is worse, more contagious and more deadly than normal flu and we need to take extra precautions. On the other side if we allow the virus to take us into another Great Depression by sheltering in place too long you have to calculate the deaths over that as well as the misery that poverty like that will bring such as homelessness, food shortages, lack of jobs and income. We cannot keep printing money to finance a shelter in place. It is money we don't have as we already have a 23 trillion national debt.

We need to have our health experts and economy experts in the same room and hammer out the best solution for both the health issues and economy issues and work out the best possible compromise solution.

  6. According to Fox News, here’s what precipitated this order:

The encounter happened last week. Six U.S. Navy warships were conducting drills with US Army Apache attack helicopters in international waters off Iran last Wednesday when they were repeatedly harassed by 11 Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Navy vessels, the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet reported.

The Iranian ships repeatedly crossed in front and behind the U.S. vessels at extremely close range and high speeds, including multiple crossings of one ship, the Puller, with a 50-yard closest point of approach and within 10 yards of another ship, the Maui’s, bow, a 5th Fleet statement said.

The Navy also reported that the USS Paul Hamilton, USS Firebolt, USS Sirocco and USCGC Wrangell, as well as the Puller and Maui, were involved in the exercises.

The U.S. crews responded by issuing multiple warnings via radio—including five short blasts from the ships’ horns and long-grange acoustic noise maker devices, but received no response from the IRGCN, the Navy’s 5th Fleet said in a statement.

After approximately an hour, the Iranian vessels responded to the radio queries, before maneuvering away from the U.S. ships and increasing the distance between them, according to the Navy.

The Navy said that the Iranian’s dangerous and provocative actions “increased the risk of miscalculation and collision” and were in violation of international maritime “rules of the road.” The Navy also said they were not in accordance with international law to act safely with other vessels in the area.

These Iranian gunships have been harassing US ships for years and now they finally have a reason to stop. Trump tweeted out the order giving Iran fair warning that if they continue this aggressive and wreckless behavior, it will cost them. Well done President Trump.

  7. Any sane person would be rooting for the drug's success. Only those who have lost all rational thought with Trump Derangement Syndrome would root for the drug to fail primarily because Trump endorsed it. What if Trump had not endorsed it? One democrat state senator in Michigan who says the drug saved her life said she would have never known to have asked about it except she heard Trump speak about it at his presser.

I know of at least one testimony locally of a nurse who tested positive with the virus with the normal symptoms and the next day after given the hyrdroxychloroquine, zpack and zinc cocktail had no symptoms and was testing neg for the virus. We can't and shouldn't  expect these results in every case but it does appear this cocktail is the best option to take at this time.

  8. I always separated McCain the war hero from McCain the terrible politician. You have to respect McCain for his spending 5 years as a POW and honoring him for that but as a politician he was terrible. Trump was wrong to go after him about his POW status particularly when Trump never served in the military. Trump should have focused on his terrible politics which would be fair game.

Is it christian to mock someone???????

I've been thinking about this and It depends. Most politicians are fair game and many times earn the mocking. As for Biden and his showing signs of dementia you are right as a Christian I should not be mocking that. Actually what I posted was word for word what Biden said and it was not mocking him. Without checking my prior posts I don't know if I mocked Biden before about his seemingly dementia (I don't believe I did) but if I did I was wrong as a Christian to do it.

And here is a non-blaming, non-political reasonable proposal for testing that could lead to eventual lifting of closures. I personally believe that, with the usual Darwinian exceptions, most people have learned how to stay reasonably safe and reasonably distant from others.

    https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2020/04/were-testing-the-wrong-people/610234/

I like that it is a non blaming non political article but that seems like a monumental amount of testing but I agree we are many times testing the wrong people. Of course if you do label anyone with any symptoms of covid19 as actually being covid19 (without knowing for sure) the numbers we use for data of covid19 cases will be skewed

The article though hits on the real problem with the spread of the virus and that are the carriers without symptoms. One thing we can do right away without taking many months to implement to combat those carriers without symptoms would be a requirement we all have to wear masks when in public places meeting with other people. I haven't been wearing a mask when going into stores but I am going to from now on. I don't have any expectations it would help me not get the virus but at least I would know if I was a carrier without symptoms I was doing what I could not to give it to anyone else.

Why its not working must be that they had not included the secret ingredient in Dr. Zel's recipe.. zinc sulfate!!!

It is  the combination of the three that doctors have been touting.

    No zinc here:

“We performed a retrospective analysis of data from patients hospitalized with confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection in all United States Veterans Health Administration medical centers until April 11, 2020,” the researchers explained. Some 97 patients had been treated with just hydroxycholoroquine, 113 were treated with hydroxycholoroquine and the antibiotic azithromycin and 158 received “standard supportive management” for COVID-19.

Apr 6, 2020 - It just baffles me why zinc supplementation is not being tested in combination with the chloroquine derivatives and azithromycin. It's at least ...

That is the cocktail combo I would go with. Not just the hydroxychloroquine but with the added zpac and zinc. We may find better options as we go down the road but that combo seems to me to be the best tool in our tool box for now in fighting the virus.

  12. I hate to say this (because I am not fond of the idea) but the science right now backs me up. Everyone needs to be wearing a mask when around other people. The biggest problem we face with the virus spreading are those who have the virus without symptoms who are out in public spreading the virus without knowing it. Wearing a mask is not to keep the wearer from getting the virus but to help keep those with the virus without symptoms from spreading it to others. A business for example could have temperature checks every day for employees yet the one with the virus without symptoms would pass the temp check. I see stores taking steps to protect their employees such as limiting customers in stores and requiring their employees to wear masks but the truth is unless they require all customers in the store to wear masks they leave open the door to the biggest source of those spreading the virus, the ones who carry the virus without symptoms. Wearing masks have no doubt been a big reason why countries like South Korea have done well to contain the virus. There are other reasons but wearing masks is likely a big one.
