  1. Lost the doubleheader opener to the Yankees 3-2.
  2. I was bouncing back and forth between the Guardians game and it. Defense looked good, kind of a windy day, messed with the passing game at times.
  3. That's an absolute fair statement. I have serious doubts that we will ever see the 2018-20 Watson. He now has to overcome a shoulder injury to his throwing arm, all the noise he hears from his off-the-field allegations, and a questionable fit with Kevin Stefanski. I wouldn't bet on it. I hope I'm wrong.
  4. I'm going to go with Territorial Pissings, Syd. My favorite Nirvana song probably is Lounge Act.
  5. I would prefer they stay downtown, but wouldn't be upset if they did the Brookpark thing. And this is a private business. Interesting how all you free-market capitalism is king guys get all Bernie Sanders when it comes to these billionaires getting stadiums for their sports teams - stadiums that skyrocket the value of the teams they own. The Haslams bought the Browns for $1 billion dollars, a team now valued at four times that amount. They had so much money from flipping their RICO-investigated truck stop business that they could buy the Columbus Crew AND buy a big chunk of a NBA team that competes with the Cavaliers. Let THEM build the palace they want. Let THEM maintain the palace they want.
  6. An All-Ohio World Series would be sweet... Almost happened in 1940. Reds won the National League pennant, Indians finished one game behind the Tigers for the American League pennant. Reds beat the Tigers to win the World Series.
  7. This means nothing, but I keep seeing "The Browns met with..." stories on various Browns sites that seem to always be OTackle, DTackle and WR.
  8. Good, let someone else take the 360lb guy.
  9. Could you imagine the outrage from a certain corner of this message board if say Lamar Jackson had done something like that? THE OUTRAGE! 😁 (The absolute best part of that incident is a guy drafted #1 in the NFL could not outrun a cop. Comedy gold, right there.)
  10. It will be nice to finally have a first rounder again next draft, that will kickstart draft talk throughout the offseason by more people on here beside the small crew of guys who get into it a little deeper. Hell, I just start looking up MLBs mock drafts 🤣 because I'm in the draft mood. Somehow the Guardians won the lottery and got the #1 overall pick (they had lie a 2% chance).
  11. The city doesn't own the Browns, the Haslams do, It's their private business, let them buy the land and pay for a stadium.
  12. It definitely can be an advantage. I think its been shown over the years that it hasn't been for the Browns, though.
  13. This is an excellent choice, I could definitely see this happening.
  14. DT Maason Smith, LSU. LB Junior Colson, scUM
  15. Ok, I've never done this... How do you do the thing you do regarding discord?
  16. Hypothetically @ballpeen, lets say a spot in downtown could be found to build a dome... Would you prefer it to stay somewhere downtown, or would you want it out in Brookpark?
  17. It was tough watching Bieber walk onto the field before the game. You could see him get choked up.
  18. I'm sure the majority of people who come to Browns games are from outside the city, there's less than 400,000 people in Cleveland proper, but over 2+ mill in the metro area. I really, REALLY think the Haslams want a dome in Brookpark, so are they just trying to see if the city blows their doors off with a ton of money to stay on the lakefront? This should be a very interesting year, I'm sure by this time next year we will have a good idea where the Browns will be playing in the future.
  19. Thoughts on LB Payton Wilson, NC State with the 2nd round pick? Is that a legit spot for him? He has some red flags, specifically his injury history, but man he's got some tools galore.
  20. I was at the last home opener at Cleveland Stadium, 1993. I believe it was a sell-out (or close to it) and it was two weeks after the boat crash that took Steve Olin and Tim Crews' life. Their wives were brought out to the mound before the game, it was a sad scene.
  21. That and a strike zone for the Braves pitchers (specifically Glavine in Game 6) that was roughly the size of Rhode Island.
