Opposed to the numerous excuses OSU fans are already coming up with weeks before the game? Come on.

We're already hearing how terrible parts of this team supposedly are. A team that's deep into the Meyer era (maybe the end of it). Making excuses there is ok but not when it's RRod trying to make a spread team out of mud lol.

I'm seeing OSU fans bitching and moaning and saying "well if Michigan can't even beat this team blah blah blah". You're already stacking the deck to suit a narrative. You're a one loss team. Ranked in the top 10. Entitled butt OSU fans.... Jesus. You have no idea what rooting for a genuinely bad team is

I root for the Browns. I think I have a vague idea.

But I'm sure you'll retort with: "I was talking about college football", and with that, I'll say that no one put a gun to a guy from NE Ohio's head and made him root for TTUN. That's your fault.

What a shame. The world is a beautiful and yet evil reality. This stuff is so commonplace these days I’m almost numb to it.

It's sad when it's gotten to the point that when I hear about another mass shooting I just think: "Well, just another day in America".

your sleep posting again. no one here cares or will open this chit..Go gm your team. Signing more NT/LB/CB than will ever see the field is as good as his move in adding Camela Erving..ya miss Dorsey yet?

If no one cares about Mahomes, then why was a thread created about Mahomes?

Or was this just an exercise for Browns fans on here to wax poetic about how great they think Mayfield will be in comparison to Mahomes, and anyone posting anything that might disagree with that just gets yelled at?

Can't you just see it?  Some kid named Flugel takes Ghoolie's lunch money and makes him watch the kid enjoying the lunch on his coin.    Before anyone could even begin to feel sorry for the torn spirited Ghoolie - the young, potty-mouthed Shakespeare in training finds a Cleveland Browns message board while he's watching an episode of Jerry Springer's #1 rated show capitalizing on passive aggressive behavior.  Suddenly, the "NOBODY'S KICKING SAND IN MY FACE IN CYBER SPACE" is born.  Just add alcohol and here we are today...

Sometimes I don't have the heart to tell him he's planting a steel toe right between his own lookers when he's assaulting the opinion he had just a week ago thinking it came from Hoorta or hoping it came from Zombo.

    The dude is a joke.

He knows exactly how the Browns will Shmuck up the draft, when none of it comes true he loves the draft and loves the direction this team is going, but when that gets old and he doesn't get enough attention from people stupid enough to believe he thinks this he goes all "this team Shmucked up the draft and they are destined for more misery"...

    Laughable.

It's June 2018.  What's different now than it was in June 2012 when we drafted Trent Richardson?  (you have to put Richardson's failure out of your mind....because we're comparing now to June 2012)

    ------

Butch Davis was lousy.  He drafted Gerard Big Money Warren, when all the scouts told him Richard Seymour was the pick.   And he drafted Winslow...who had a 15 yard unsportsman-like penalty in just about every game he ever played.  He was a dope then and a dope now.

    He's waffling.

He loves this draft, thinks Dorsey really nailed it out of the park. Good times for the Browns are on the horizon boys!...… You know what boys, I think the Browns blew this draft... Browns are going to keep sucking... The NFL sucks, I'm going to watch the XFL... scratch that, I'll pick another NFL team...

    Typical attention trolling.

Was that before or after he drafted the invisible work ethic of Gerrard Warren over LaDanian Tomlinson at #3 overall?   It is VERY sad to see this; but dangerous/aggressive animals belong in cages. There is no defending multiple rape allegations like Stink always does for Ben Riden&Rapen. He had a lot in common with Winslow from the motor cycle riding gone wrong to the female victim count hitting the plural.  Rooney had to cover that up and get it all quieted at warped speed as much as Joe PA had to perpetuate the extended look away in PA's other version of "Win at all costs."

Here's what I remember about Winslow.  Big time prospect that came from a decent family and dated/married a hottie - in spite of his brat-like tendencies seen on television. The guy even wanted to play on the kick block units, where he broke his arm after blocking a kick in a game we won largely because of it. Prior to the hitting a parking lot speed bump at about 55 mph, he had a very promising NFL career ahead.  Before injury rendered him to blocking from a pogo stick, he was a really good blocker downfield at the U while he was decent at setting the edge.  Multiple surgeries later, a fraction of him had a couple productive seasons inclusive of 1 Pro Bowl during our 10-6 season in 2007.

I still contend that if he didn't have the motorcycle accident, he would have been a Hall of Famer. Kid was that good.

But man, what a spoiled brat. Karma has a way of catching up with people sometimes.

Why this is so sad.. because My cousin used to run personal errands for him.. When he was a ball boy/training staff for the browns.. He literally trusted the young man with his ATM card and personal vehicle. Kellen Winslow Jr. was a good man who for whatever reason.. Has fallen mighty hard. I would venture to say Drugs and a broken relationship are most likely the top causes. I hope he finds some help... And more importantly , finds himself.. Before he does something irrevocable...

It makes me wonder if this is another OJ/Vegas situation where Winslow thinks someone stole something from him and he went and stole it back?

I saw Lamar Jackson play alot in college, and yes he is a great runner, yes, he is a great athlete, however, he isn't a great QB, I think the Ravens drafted him for ticket sales versus ability. After all the Ravens valued him so much they drafted Hayden Hurst just 7 picks ahead of him. So 32 teams basically didn't grade him that high. I watch him play, he has problems under pressure, he has accuracy issues I am glad the Ravens because he has bust written all over him. He could prove me wrong, but I doubt it.

The Ravens have zero problems selling tickets.

They drafted Jackson to be their eventual franchise QB. I don't think it was a wise move, but that's why they drafted him.

So, both starting QBs..Super Bowl winning QBs  of the Squibs and the Ratpukers are squirming because of the young QBs they brought in in this draft.  Let them squirm.

I don't quite understand why the Steelers using a 3rd rounder on a QB who could be a good value pick upset Roethlisberger... Also find it funny that he's gone from "I could retire soon, maybe in a year to... I see myself playing 3-5 more seasons".

I get Flacco being upset that the Ravens used a first rounder on Jackson - even if the Ravens should be looking to upgrade the position. Flacco is a mediocre starter at this point.

  10. I'll still take a QB who can stand in the pocket, keep his eyes downfield while the pass rush is around him, process the play, make his reads, and consistently deliver an accurate, on-time pass over athletic one-read and run QBs all day long. The NFL has consistently caught up with the latter.

    Good for us.

They don't take an impact player and settle for taking somebody at the most important position in sports who will, at best, see the field in 2-3 years and will be mighty shaky as a passer even then.

This is a pick we should celebrate the ratbirds for taking.

I was thinking the same exact thing - when they announced the Ravens selected Jackson I did not have one iota of "Uh oh". Didn't bother me at all.

Then he was interviewed on the stage, and man, he seems like he's a great kid, but the guy can barely put together a complete sentence. I'm not sure all the words he used was English. I literally said out loud: "They took THIS guy and think he's a franchise QB?"
