  1. Ok. I have the Browns going 7-2 the rest of the way. This could lead to the wild card. To me there are some huge keys:

    1) They MUST win the Buffalo game.

    2) I have them spitting with Pittsburg. If they sweep, 8-1 is a real possibility.

    3) I know Baltimore is a sore subject but they are a much better team right now. If Lamar Jackson is healthy , that seems like a tough match up.

Chin up guys. This thing can really happen. BTW, we hired a brand new coach. It usually takes a few years of mistakes to hit your stride. The never ending revolving door has to stop. It is time for OJT. He makes mistakes but I think he will learn from those like  Belichick and Carroll

I could have sworn you replied earlier in the thread to tinythinker about how you would panic too if you rooted for the browns or even be from Cleveland..... ill never understand the need to lie on forums like this.

Edit here it is.  Looks like you tried to delete it to cover your tracks at least once you lied.

I agree Thinker. I would panic also if I were a Browns fan, or from Clevelabd for that matter!

I do love the Browns though. Terry Metcalf was a favorite back in the day.

I was having fun. It was such a crazy meldown in here it was just too funny to watch the reaction.

Shawshank Prison was actually the former Ohio  State Reformatory in Mansfield.   See this:

You still do not get it.....I am saying Ohio was smart for getting rid of these guys. Hello! McFly! Is anybody home?

And live in a  city leading the  country in number  of days  with  heavy  cloud  cover. Had a friend  that lived in  Seattle for a while, and said you  almost  never saw the sun in the  winter, with rain every  other day.

I will never retire in Seattle. Great economy but the weather, traffic and taxes suck. Can't get anything in the city for less than 2 mil. It is always a cold drizzle in the winter. It is culturally alive but I need warm weather.

What you are saying is that except for the Bills close loss, the Browns have given the Pats the biggest run for their money......and if it had not been for those (constant) self inflicted wounds, that game could have been quite interesting?

And lets also note this:  that Pats early schedule does sort of resemble an SEC schools non-conference schedule. (cupcake city)

More stolidity from you?  Did you miss the fact that I lumped you in with other "aberrant" beings that we exported?

I think it is time to call for the mercy rule, and discontinue this game. It is useless trying to kill a corpse.

Ok Gipper. I did not defend myself. I chose to defend Ohio. You wanted to insult me so much that you took the state of Ohio with you. I still have friends and family there and support non profit activities there. Keep the insults on me not Ohio.

No, it didn't occur to me at all....but now that I think of it.....sure, you are just that kind of flaky.

(my favorite use of the word....obtuse....comes from a movie:  Shawshank Redemption.  One of the best movies ever....made right here in Northeast Ohio.)

Actually I love that movie. I did not know it was filmed in Ohio either.

Its OK, you would not be the first aberrant being that the Cleveland/NE Ohio area has exported:  Jeffrey Dahmer, Robert Berdella, James Huberty, Samuel Little.

I don't blame Ohio for those people. I love Ohio. That is a state that has produced some of the finest people. Not sure where you are going with that.

He chose the movie industry. Sorry you are too obtuse to comprehend that.

That is a nice word. Did it occur to you that I might be in the movie industry? Many of us do not live full time in LA.

Steve was just being as juvenile in his statement to you, as you are being disingenuous in your comments.  Overall, I suspect his attempts at a smackdown were likely more mature than yours, even if they were more cliche.

And, so you are saying that you moved to Seattle to escape homophobia.  I get it, that's OK.  It not like there is anything wrong with that.

Actually I left as a kid. I cried for a week. I still love the Browns but you folks are really becoming undone. It is part sad and part funny. But I do still love Cleveland.

Basketball star LeBron James and his family have joined hundreds of thousands of Californians forced to evacuate their homes by raging wildfires.

The L.A. Lakers player posted to Twitter that his family had to flee their home in Los Angeles because of a nearby brush fire.

“Man these LA (fires) aren’t no joke,” James wrote in the 3:53 a.m. post. “Had to emergency evacuate my house and I’ve been driving around with my family trying to get rooms. No luck so far!”

That is one reason I would never live there. Yet he chose that over Cleveland. I have to travel to LA a ton. It is a dump. That has to hurt.

No, I don't think you were using sarcasm.  I just think you are a liar.   I told you in my first reply to you:  my therapy is by pulling the wings off little flies like you and then feeding you to the spiders. (I wouldn't actually do that to a real fly....just to poseurs)

It's going to be ok. One day you can afford to leave like Lebron and I did.

  13. 4 minutes ago, The Gipper said:

So? Now you are homophobic as well?  So, who is the "non-progressive" one?

Or, is that why you left here?  I guess it would probably be true that the West Coast back in 60s would have been more accepting of your ilk (gay person)...than the Midwest was, admittedly.

I am not homophobic and would never have changed the topic from football to oral sex with men. That is classic sexually repressed behavior. Seattle is the last place a homophobe moves to. Racism and homophobia are lame.

  14. 14 minutes ago, The Gipper said:

I don't believe for moment that you have a legal secretary.  Poseur. All you can do is look at my profile...and pretend to be like me.

Really, you mean I might have been using sarcasm? Good for you Gipper. You are going to be ok  after all. Hang in there. Therapy can be a long road but we are all pulling for you.

  15. 33 minutes ago, The Gipper said:

LeBron still  loves Cleveland/Akron.  Still has his home here. He just went to LA to semi-retire and to try to get into being a Hollywood producer.  Stars in his eyes and all that.

In fact, I hear that he may have to come stay back here, because his home in LA is like right in the area where fires  are destroying a lot of houses.

That is a compelling argument Gipper. You are saying Lebron is deciding between being burned alive in a massive fire or moving back to Ohio? By the way Einstein, Akron and Cleveland are not the same place.
