Morals? Want to talk about the Ohio RNC endorsing a guy under 91 felony indictments?  Blow me pal.

Cry me a river, FY.  That is the God D***m flimsiest political excuse in the world and you know it--- the guy fabricated his resume , stole credit card #s from his donors, under federal criminal charges... So by the same token since DJT hasn't been convicted of anything YET everything is just peachy keen in MAGA land.

Funny the dems want Mendez kicked out, but the GQP brass  is sure sticking up for this slime ball- because they need his vote. yeah I looked at the Blowberts and Gaetz voting who love him. FWIW, my local congressman Mike Turner (R Dayton) just lost my vote sticking up for this pike of crap. So want to give me the over\under betting odds poor George will be spending time in the slammer?

Yeah we know he lost your vote because of the r after his name. Who is Mendez?

    🍷

But I forgive you for being drunk after that fucking game.

  2. I'm actually not sure who would be a good fit. There are plenty of people who I wouldn't mind seeing in the top role but the problem is anybody that's successful and competent is not going to want to act at the whim of DJT.  Same goes for any potential cabinet members

    https://www.aol.com/trump-vp-ranking-candidates-most-210151082.html

The Republican presidential primary calendar won’t officially kick off until the Jan. 15, 2024, Iowa caucuses, but former President Trump’s dominant position i...

  3. Anyway I'm not really understanding the disconnect with desantis. Except for the fact that he peeked too soon. And the Crooked Disney controlled media will attack the shit out of whoever looks like they're the frontrunner. And I wish DJT would just STFU.

    Keep moving the goalposts...

This """bum"""" is nowhere near the highest paid player in the league, and has all the potential to lead this Browns squad to the Superbowl. Which is exactly why he was paid, what he was paid. The Browns FO just structured it in a way that appealed to him more than the Falcons and Panthers.

The only let-downs were GoToHell going outside the rule book, and his own overzealous rushing this year!

I moved absolutely nothing. I used the word resources in my original post that you quoted and it's true. We burned three number one draft picks and the guy sucks. Is there a chance in the next couple years he doesn't suck anymore? Sure I guess it's possible. On the other hand Johnny Manziel is only 39. So I guess he's not technically out of the running for Super Bowl MVP either.

Watson's contract is only the 9th total cash in the league, and 7th average. There are literally 6-8 QBs that have been valued to be worth more than DW today! The HOF'ers you mention would be making Mahomes/ Burrow/ Lamar money, which is more than Watson.

Guaranteed money is the only category where Watson leads the league. It is less relevant, because you'd better believe the other top guys are getting their full contract paid out. Mahomes will not only get his full 10 years, but will likely renegotiate more money along the way. Only possible exception is Murray, who shouldn't be making top 10 money anyway.

@Orion's point are a lot more valid.

Well there's a reason I said resources rather than guaranteed money.

It was at least the best deal in the NFL for Houston. They took home three number ones and got this bum off their roster.

We can't say that yet.  In theory there's 60% of his contract still to play out.    ( Paul Warfield for Mike Phipps ?? )

I'd rather have Mike Phipps under center today just for the record. And that trade only cost us one guy that was worthy of a first draw draft pick.

By the way I don't necessarily blame the commissioner. Yes this suspension was pretty tough but they had to deal with the me too movement. If we want to blame somebody first I blame Jimmy Haslam. No player in the history of the NFL is worth that kind of resources. Not a 21-year-old Joe Namath Otto Graham Lou Groza Dan Marino Jim Brown Joe montana; nobody. Second I blame the Houston Texans for covering it up.

Right now, the trade for Watson stands as a very poor trade.

Roger GoToHell screwed us out of his first year with us.  The arbitrator that the NFL had just hired decided that a 6 game suspension was appropriate.  But Roger wanted us fucked, so he changed it to 11 games.  Not a full season, so that his contract could be pushed back a year...NO, he wanted a WASTED contract year for us Browns fans.  Roger GoToHell is a piece of shit.

So, this second year of his contract, Watson thinks he's going to do his Nick Chubb impersonation and run with the ball and take on tacklers.  I think I've only seen him run and slide once.  Ergo contract year 2 is wasted.

Now, I understand the motivation for the trade.  Baker wasn't the guy to take us to a championship.  I truly believed that so I understood why they did it.  That was the only way to have a potentially really good QB to compete with the AFC QB's materialize in Cleveland.

We don't know what the next few years have in store for us with (or without) Watson...but we know that 40% of his contract has now been wasted with virtually nothing to show for it.

Meaning like the worst in the history of the nfl.

  8. How do you watch Ohio State versus the team up north? Drunk, wearing scarlet and gray and hurling every vulgar epithet you can think of toward the team in yellow and blue. At least that's how Real Americans watch it. 😀🇺🇸

Here's how to watch the Ohio State vs. Michigan game this week, plus the rest of the Week 13 college football schedule.

I can't find the video Steve, but it's floating around here somewhere.  The hit that caused the injury was pretty obvious. Watson got simultaneously sandwiched high between two Ravens defenders. He could have gotten lucky, and just gotten a broken collarbone instead.

Could be. If it was the announces made a lot less of it than they did talking about his ankle.

Regardless of political party or agenda I always suspect claims of death threats are bullshit, most likely to make the opponent look bad or to Garner sympathy for whoever is claiming them.

It sure seems like there would be a lot more news stories about those who have made death threats and been Tracked Down by the FBI and punished if they were true. Since we never see these stories I would guess they're either made up or the FBI is as incompetent as it is crooked. Just a guess.

  11. Here's a quick thought. If there's a fractured bone in the shoulder I didn't really see a hit in the last game that should have caused it. If I'm wrong, that's life.

If I'm not wrong that would mean that the orthopedic team has missed that ever since Watson went out in the first place.

The doctor's name isn't Haslam is it?

Since November of 2015, when they adopted the Fox News playbook, I think it's safe to say that the answer is all of them.

Exactly. But with fox or MSNBC you know what you're in store for when you click on the TV. Our state-run media today is just Pravda with advertisements. 😏

No. Supporting neither side is an option.

As it was in World War 2. I personally don't see the moral equivalent. The United States has been warned before not to do anything to piss off the terrorists.

Beyond that how long would the United States put up with missiles being fired from Juarez into El Paso?

Further is/was Lebanon better off without Hezbollah? Or Gaza without hamas?

lol at the guardian deleting the text after it goes viral. Streisand effect.

Heaven forbid anyone try to gain a geopolitical understanding of why we were attacked in 2001 beyond "they hate our freedoms." Oh wait, the freedoms he was talking about are the same freedoms you guys voted against this month.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. 9/11 was blowback from the US military allowing Israel to pin its ears back and bomb the hell out of Lebanon in the 80s. If you can't see how that parallels today's situation, then there is no helping you. Another 9/11 is going to happen because of our foreign policy on Israel/Palestine.

IOW we need to appease Hamas/Hezbollah?
