Westside Steve
If the country was a business I'd agree with that. There are a lot of things that go into the qualifications of a president. Education, business skills, military experience, international experience, political experience, orator abilities, soft skills, interpersonal skills, general demeanor, etc etc
Westside Steve
Just remember that the only ones of these qualities that are actually measurable are the first five. Oratory ability is moot unless either candidate can speak naturally off the cuff. I don't think you would elect Jack Nicholson or Alec Baldwin to a high position in the military or chief of staff at a hospital because of their movie roles. The rest off your list of qualifications, well we have absolutely no way to measure them nor even know what they are. You might as well list good karma. And that would apply to a candidate no matter what party he came from. WSS
