What in particular will they be disappointed to find out? Because all that matters is our individual lives and without Sean Hannity or Rachel Maddow to tell us how happy or miserable we are we would never know what who the president was.

Just tried to point out Steve- their view of Trump's support isn't quite as cracked up as they imagine it to be. Oh, they've mentioned a dozen times or so DT's massive accomplishments. Which in turn makes them very happy, because it's what they want\like. 

BUT The Cult of Personality started with Kennedy, and in my POV- it's totally out of control now in regards to the current occupant of the White House. You either love him or hate him, largely because of his personality. They just don't get there's the possibility of 50 Shades of Gray. (which I never watched BTW because of my religious convictions)  The way Left has their own reasons why, but I don't necessarily agree with that stuff either. It's a double standard- it's perfectly ok to hate Obama or Hillary in particular, and the Democrats in general- but if you don't love Trump and his agenda, there's something wrong with you.  They may say that's not the case, but it sure as hell is, considering all the flack I've taken in the past couple months.  OTOH, I think there's something wrong with them.

   I despise obaMao for the damage his ACTIONS DID. I defend Pres Trump because of his terrific ACTIONS HE HAS DONE AND IS DOING.

  All this snide anti-Trump crap bitching about little annoying things, and NOT ONCE, does he get any PRAISE for getting us out of the Iran deal, keeping us out of the Paris accord, trying to complete the wall, stopping runaway ILLEGAL immigration, paying attention to our VETERANS/Improving their health care/giving them rules of engagement that won't tie their hands behind their backs, putting AMERICA FIRST INSTEAD OF LAST, getting our economy roaring/bringing companies back home, improving our trade deals, DEFENDING OUR CONSTITUTION AND BILL OF RIGHTS especially our !ST AND 2ND AMENDMENTS...

My private polls say Trump is in deep shit come November.

Since you brought up the Constitution- I've seen some stuff from the other side where the 25th Amendment should be invoked to get Mr. Lysol back to golfing at Mar a Lago where he belongs.

Yes that Cult thing has been around at least since Kennedy probably before because of our age that's about as far back as our serious memory goes. But don't forget that the hatred of a politician is a cult as well. Remember how bad we hated Nixon when we were kids? Now I can't really understand the big deal. But the love of Obama looks like every bit a cult to me and to a lesser extent the love of a handful of females and Hillary. And remember that in a purely political forum people are going to be forced to the edges of their beliefs. We've been over the issues before. Whether or not I think Donald Trump or Joe Biden are assholes I will make my decision on the basis of which of those guys at least pretends to agree with me.
