He has 103 career tackles, three sacks, three interceptions, 12 passes defensed and one fumble recovery. He started 14 games last season and finished second on the team in tackles (70) and passes defensed (nine), while adding two sacks, two interceptions and on fumble recovery. A native of Tallahassee, Fla., Harrison helped Alabama capture two National Championships (2016 and 2018).

Meh - Not bad, not great.. basically getting a 3rd round pick for the price of a 5th.

Walter had this guy as the 3rd best S in 2018 draft.

Jags thought he had potential.. Don't see much this offseason about him.

Could be a diamond in the rough, may never leave the rough - taking shots like this is a good thing though - normal 5th round pick gets cut in camp.

A native of Tallahassee, Fla., Harrison helped Alabama capture two National Championships (2016 and 2018).                             So he's played with Mack Wilson in front of him at Bama in 2016 & 2017

Good needed pick-up... Browns owned two 5th round picks in 2021..Their Own..And Rams(Austin Corbett)... been dying for a height Safety against Pitts WR height..

From what I've read about him, Nick Saban loved him, and he was the brains of the Alabama defense, not Minkah Fitzpatrick.

Really dig the trade. Need filled with a lower pick.

Interesting pairing, those two while at Bama.

Fitz is a deep center fielder and growning into a good one in Pittsburgh.  Harrison is not that, but he knew Saban's defenses so well he would get the secondary calls in and the alignments.    So the mental capacity is there.   He's just a touch on the tall side and doesn't have the most fluid hips/lateral movement.

In time, he could blossom into a decent starter.

For a 5th rounder, it's a pretty nice deal for the Browns. Good job grabbing him from the tanking Jags.

stumbled across this site.. https://www.rotowire.com/football/player.php?id=12625  besides his gametape, it tells ya almost everything about the player, but his last meal & what he read while dumping it 🤭

..anywho? Looks like a clean bill of injury history besides the concussion in weeks 13 & 14.... & a 2018 knee bruise... Should pass the teams physical..

Let’s FUCKING GOOOOO!!!!!!!!

5th round 2021 pick going to the Jags.

Made 22 starts in 2 years.

That's a Berry nice move for this team!  I like adding a 6'3" Safety that can tackle from the position group at Bama that Saban coached.  Looks like others in this thread feel the same way.  He brings 2 years of starting experience we need.

And when we really think about it, any of the FA 1 year deals that don't get re-newed - are set-up to bring us comp picks in the later rounds anyway (so what are we really losing in the trade?).

Big Nickel body that isn't a total liability in coverage.  Slightly above average player for a 5th rounder at a position of need.

I'll take it.

Can't complain. A total need, filled pretty well for just a 5th rounder.

If Nick believes in him, that's good enough for me.

I'm thinking LB as well as Safety depth.

Nice addition on the cheap...

In today's NFL world of cheap I think this might be a good deal !

.........According to Ian Rapoport, the Cleveland Browns have sent a 2021 5th round pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for Ronnie Harrison......

It is unclear yet whether the 5th round pick in 2021 that is being sent to the Jacksonville Jaguars will be the Cleveland Browns’ 5th round draft pick, or if it will be the Los Angeles Rams’ 5th round draft pick.

This move works for both teams as the Cleveland Browns desperately needed another safety after losing 2020 2nd round pick Grant Delpit to injury for the season. The Jaguars gain another draft pick as they look forward to 2021 and get to see what else they have at safety.......

In terms of draft capital, Cleveland still has plenty of draft picks for the upcoming season. They should have a total of 11 picks  now.NEXT: Positions for Browns to hit on waiver wire

One first-round pick, one second-round pick, two third-round picks (one from the Saints), two fourth-round picks (one from the Eagles), one fifth-round pick, one sixth-round pick, and three seventh-round picks (one still pending on conditions) according to prosportstransactions.com.

But most importantly, they found someone to replace Grant Delpit, and they did so without sacrificing much at all.......

Disagree - Logan Ryan isn't the same player he was 2 years ago. Even last season, Titans played him around the LOS more than as a DB.. he'd be a great coverage LB.

As fun as it was for Ryan to make T.Brady's last throw as a Patriot be a pick-six, Ryan is simply not fast enough any more to be a CB.  And if he's only a safety, Harrison is better..

I find it funny that ourlads has not even put Logan Ryan on the Giants depth chart yet...It's the only job they have 🙃... The fit of Logan going back home, to a coach that knows him, will still make him a 2020 Pro Bowler imho... their bad defense just got one guy better...good luck keeping up Peppers

Huge upside. Virtually no risk.
