Well they have more flexibility…their QB is on a rookie deal. they gotta be close to the max…they gave one of their WR a huge deal and they just signed CJ Jackson and Khalil Mack. You have a strong core 4 with this defense now with Jackson, Mack, James and Bosa…these are unquestioned Top 5 guys at their position. But the already good Buffalo D just got Superbowl serious and Miller got super-rich with $110mil over 6 years with almost half guaranteed. $45 fully guaranteed when he signed it. Rams paid under 1M salary for that rental last season -- 722k to be exact. Since Von was going to leave for nothing at end of season, being able to trade him away was great for Denver back in November.
