As a person who thinks climate change is a real problem, any agreements that combat the problem are part of a solution. My sincere hope is the United States becomes the shining beacon on the hill.

Speaking in general terms my friend as I’m not arguing the legitimacy of the Paris Accord with someone who doesn’t believe climate change is a dire issue.

Unfortunately you can’t govern other nations.  You make the best decisions you can and you hope your leadership has a ripple effect.  If the issue is serious enough you go to war.

Not being able to affect policy in other nations shouldn’t be a reason to keep status quo.

 I do support the Party removing her from a leadership role but censure is ridiculous.

These same arguments have been made when vehicle emission standards changed and electric vehicles were introduced, yet somehow we had the greatest economy in history pre-COVID.  Manufacturing will continue to suffer not because of government regulation but by consumer demands.  We wrap ourselves in the flag every chance we get but when it comes to purchasing products, money is the deciding factor.  Increased consumer demand, followed by diversifying American made goods, will strengthen US manufacturing.

What gets lost in all of these discussions, we are a representative democracy.  AOC represents her constituents and I’ve yet to hear a groundswell to replace her on their behalf.  You hope that representatives are able to strike a balance between what best serves their constituents and what best serves the nation as a whole but that isn’t always the case, from either party.

The media should be held accountable for fact checking and opining as every American has that duty.  Problem is Americans are lazy and it’s easier to repeat chain emails than having the dialogue.  My concern is how we have allowed the puppet masters to factionalize and divide us.  This country was founded on so many great ideals and they have been slowly replaced by partisan mistrust.

Being honest, I don’t know you.  I know what you post on an Internet forum. I bear no ill will toward you for  your opinions.  Most likely what I post won’t change your mind and what you post won’t change mine.  If we can get to a place where we both respect each other’s opinions and work to compromise what truly enriches our lives, we will truly be taking back our country.

I agree they are reeling right now.  They are 12-3 & 4-1 which is very solid considering their recent struggles.  If I was making a wager, I’d bet they beat us Sunday.

They are 3-0 against the Browns with 2 beatdowns.  I’d say the Ravens are slightly above average and the Steelers are very good.

I agree that there seems to be a lot of additions on most spending bills. I’m not a huge fan but I also see the point that you can’t pass individual initiatives as that would take forever.  Again with life there should be a happy medium, unfortunately we as Americans see that as a foreign concept,
